Would it be fair to engage in a game of dodge ball while Ayers is stomping on the flag? In my house that would be fair. But in today’s social structure, No. Because, liberal educators ban dodge ball or any such form of exercise or stress relief with someone being named the winner.

I don’t get it. Couldn’t you get the same feeling from hitting a punching bag or something?

If you really want to “smash” it out, the items should be things like old stereos, computer minotors, TVs, etc. and you should get a bat or sledgehammer.

especially when the frustrations you’re venting are about not having money.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to break recyclables, seconds, and chipped and used wares? Paying $10 to destroy three perfectly good pieces seems like kind of a waste, especially when the frustrations you’re venting are about not having money. Perhaps it’s more psychologically satisfying to be wasteful. Or perhaps it’s just more profitable.

Anger management is not in my skill set. One time, after loosing control completely, and destroying some ‘thing’ (don’t remember what it was), I remember standing there looking at the debris and the thought came to me; ” that was smart. now you have to go buy another one”

Since then, I no longer destroy stuff, but anger management is still not in my skill set.
