Video: Megyn Kelly goes off on Ayers apologist

posted at 3:18 pm on October 23, 2008 by Allahpundit
Share on Facebook | printer-friendly

The occasion is Ward Churchill formally joining the apologist jamboree, but that’s really just an excuse for MK to set up the pins and knock ‘em down — something she’s getting quite good at, per her encounters with that rodentish Us Weekly spokesman, the CBC columnist who smeared Palin, and Obama spokestool Bill Burton. Starts slow but heats up around four minutes in. Exit question: She’s got a taste for these nascent viral video interviews now, hasn’t she?

Dont agree with him and think he does not understand what Ayers did, but he also wanted to just support a guy who has is a leader in education, not the type of education conservatives want taught, but so be it, it must be stopped.

Alright, I just read a short blurb about the “B” carved into the face. Something doesn’t ring right about. The victim refused medical care. Now having a “B” carved into your face would be bad enough, especially if your name was Kathy, but REFIUSING medical treatment after someone uses a stinky knife to cut you??? Dude, there is no “blank” to fill in but you made a punctuation error – it’s not “Kelly’s” it’s “Kellys” as in, “For Christmas I would really like a pair of Megyn Kellys…”

CliffHanger on October 23, 2008 at 4:42 PM

It’ll be pretty hard to get rid of O’Reilly when he’s drawing 6 million viewers. I wouldn’t want to see Megyn in Brit Hume’s place because he tends to talk to other reporters rather than guests. That would deprive us of the kind of interviews we just saw. If O’Reilly wanted to retire, which is entirely possible, Megyn could take his slot and make people forget all about Bill.

As for other time slots, I never watch Shep and I seldom watch Greta. I don’t think the H&C time slot would become available because we aren’t likely to get lucky enough to get shed of Colmes.

Megyn’s lawyerly skills are perfect for delivering well-deserved smackdowns. I’d like her to interview Rep. McDermott about his idiotic plan to tax 401Ks next.

Come to think of it, I’d love to see her take on Barack on just about any topic, although Bill Ayers and taxes would be my top 2 choices.

Irony: someday, if Megyn Kelly decided to run for political office, they’d call her “Barbie” and “idiot” and “unintelligent.”

Then they’d start to understand why Chief Brody suddenly needed a bigger boat.

Call it the Palin Principle.

Liberals are so paradoxically sexist and anti-woman that they never see a smart, capable woman coming. Until she starts kicking their ass.

Professor Blather on October 23, 2008 at 4:46 PM

‘Professor’ Singer is an ass in denial.

The Weather Underground placed fire bombs at the front and back doors and the garage door of a judge’s house early in the morning. The family wanted to leave the burning house, but was afraid to leave for fear of being shot by anti-judge activists. THIS is the truth.

Again, ‘Professor’ Singer is an ass in denial.

Just a Little Genocide

I asked, “well what is going to happen to those people we can’t reeducate, that are diehard capitalists?” and the reply was that they’d have to be eliminated.

And when I pursued this further, they estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers.

And when I say “eliminate,” I mean “kill.”

Twenty-five million people.

I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of which have graduate degrees, from Columbia and other well-known educational centers, and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people.

And they were dead serious.

This was the testimony of FBI informant Larry Grathwohl in the 1982 documentary No Place to Hide.

The 25 people plotting the extermination of the 25 million Americans who would bitterly cling to the American way of life?

The Weather Underground, led by Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn.

25 Million Dead Americans!

Black Adam on October 23, 2008 at 5:48 PM

The next investigation should be into the education reform organization that Ayers presides over. From what I have read they are determined to fan flames of racial hatred, anti-American feelings, and promote social activism through educational materials and curricula in the urban public schools. Ayers has not repented about the terrorist acts, nor has he abandoned his goal of overthrowing the American government and culture.

For a real shock read a book published first in 1963, then republished in 1981 by James Cavell titled “The Children’s Story”. Clavell wrote the book in response to the questions his children were bringing home from school where teachers were casting doubt in the minds of the students about everything they had learned from their parents and others about America.

By attacking impressionable minds during their early school years, radicals can easily redirect the thoughts and beliefs of children in such a way that they hold the country in contempt and feel no remorse for attacking it. This is our national future thanks to people like Ayers who have taken over control of much of what is to be taught in our schools.

in_awe on October 23, 2008 at 3:43 PM

This is why algore has had such success indoctrinating our youth with the lunacy about ‘climate change’. Right out of the communist playbook. Infiltrate the education system. Indoctrinate the youth. Two generations minimum.

It’s all right here. I know a lot of you have seen this, but those that haven’t, you need to watch every minute of this 1985 interview with Yuri Bezmenov, ex-KGB propaganda director and defector to the USA in the 1970’s. We are living through the fruition of what he talks about right this moment.

It’s extremely relevant and very important. Ayers is a part of it, as is cloward/pliven and saul alinsky. Please, I strongly urge you to watch this video. As Dorvillian, the original poster here on HA accurately says, “It will change your world view forever.”

THAT is chilling. What the hell is wrong with American journalism, when they REFUSE to connect these dots? Would you, in a million years, befriend someone with that kind of past? Even if you would, what if he had never CHANGED? Has Ayers changed anything about his world view and hatred of the U.S.? I’ve seen no evidence of that.

Yet Obama worked with him, for YEARS. Shared an office. May have had much stronger connections than we have been able to prove yet. Obama is a dangerous man, and the media doesn’t care.

What will resonate with Democrats on this guy? I think, if I were a Democrat, his book dedication to Sirhan Sirhan JUST might turn me off and make his connection to Obama a problem for me…but maybe I’m alone.

Too bad she didn’t confront that tool with the 25 million genocidal maniac quote from the 1982 documentary, that would be precious to see how that tool wiggles away from that one. The tool even ignores the attack on the New York Judge his wife and nine year old son that could have killed three civilians. It was only through God’s grace not Ayers’ and Dohrn’s planning and intent that more weren’t killed. I also wished the interviewer would have asked, If an abortion clinic bomber killed the same number of people as Ayers, got off from a prison sentence, and then became a preacher or a teacher for twenty years, and he was unrepentent about his acts, would you sign a petition supporting him and castigating those bringing up his past?

Setting bombs to kill people != terrorist.
Sending hate emails but not actually hurting anyone = terrorist.

And they let this guy teach kids? That explains a lot.

29Victor on October 23, 2008 at 6:57 PM

So Singer says one is a terrorist for sending a hate letter/email but not if someone sets bombs because they were military and police targets? This specimen of cognitive disonance is teaching young people?

aikidoka on October 23, 2008 at 6:58 PM

Bill Ayers is fighting for educational change, alright. He would make education into a leftist tool for political indoctrination. That’s why Singer and the other lefty academics support him. Ayers needs to be called on it. He needs to be called on his so-called educational policy. It’s Stalinist, and last I checked, most Americans were opposed to Stalinist education.

petefrt on October 23, 2008 at 7:10 PM

Yes that Bill Ayers he was a thief, a terrorist, but I hear he has a tremendous singing voice and contributes just so awful much to ‘education’ that his ‘reforms’ are rated failures.

I’m sure under the new boss things will be ever so much better… and he smiles alot, too! Lots of funny money to throw around, even.

ajacksonian on October 23, 2008 at 7:33 PM

…this Professor Singer was on O’Reilly the other night…it’s good that he was interviewed on the phone because he’s got quite the face for radio…he could do a turn in the chorus line at the Broadway musical version of “Ratatouille”….

…and he starts the interview by whining that he’s being picked on…maybe Ayers should hold out for friends with cojones….

“Bill Ayers is a very prominent educator”…and the interviewee doesn’t agree with what he did 40 years ago…being a “prominent educator” makes him suspect prima facie…his honors, lavished by Lefties on Lefties like Old Man Winter lavishes snowflakes on dead Chevies every winter….

…and the now hackneyed recording of Ayers (in his nauseating self-righteous voice) parsing his role and views then and now could be used, among normal people, to mark him out for a wacko and just the very villain we on the Right are pointing to him as being….

But, as we’ve come to celebrate, our Kelly launches into this rodent and his obfuscations, with Singer’s own sputtering defense of his own precious reputation and opinion, plastered with quotes from Ayers himself, being well worth the listening.

I don’t care that Bill Ayers has been an “educational reformer” working with “urban and minority” populations, which this Singer insect seems to dismiss…he and his colleagues seem so very precious about being “silenced” by receiving nasty e-mails…I suppose that if Ayers or Singer got a less-than-supportive e-mail, they’d be overcome by “the vapors”….

Screw ‘em…retry Ayers…lock him up….

…I’d rather sail off into Manly’s perversions involving Ms. Kelly and the leather bustier…it’s not nearly as icky, and holds out the promise of genuine eye-appeal…so long as Manly’s not nekkid with a rubber ball in his mouth, that is….

You know, O.J. Simpson was acquitted of the murder charges against him in 1995. I wonder if anyone who pals around with him now would be able to run for office and defend their association with him because he was exonerated?

She can get mad. She can raise her voice. She can even yell. She never once got shrill. Take notes Hillary.

I’d love to see this woman as McCain’s White House Press Secretary. She could turn it right back on those neutered jackals.

Megyn Kelly is awesome… She’s also like the FNC mascot lately. It seems like you can turn the channel on at any given time, and if she’s not hosting, she’s doing a guest spot. Don’t know if she’s trying to earn her own show or what, but I don’t know where they’d squeeze her in. Glenn Beck will be starting his FNC show next year, so that takes up another hour.
