You’re delusional! The title sounds like something a 5th grader would say to another child on the playground! No serious publisher would even think of producing a book with such a sophomoric title!

Unless it’s a liberal book, of course. They’re pretty sophomoric anyway, so it would just be Truth in Advertising.

(I know, Franken actually did write a book with that title. But it’s a sophomoric title for a sophomoric book.)

All I can say is I don’t expect Obama’s half-hour buy to get him much when he already gets ten to fifteen minutes of campaigning like that every night on three different stations nationally.

My favorite in recent days was a CNN report where a woman who was an Obama supporter said that she wasn’t partisan and that she made her choice by closing her eyes during the first debate and listening. When Obama spoke she didn’t hear a multi-racial man but rather the candidate with the best ideas. The CNN “reporter” kept stressing the idea that ordinary Americans were turning to Obama not because of race but because of his vision.

The woman interviewed owned a business called “Afro-world!”

When Bill Clinton later admitted he lied when he denied an affair with the White House intern, didn’t that turn the VRWC into something of a joke?

This entire election cycle is a joke and a farce. We as Republicans ought to be laughing our a$$es off all the way to the polls on the 4th. Instead, thanks to the MSM we’re fighting for our lives. I feel like I’m living on another planet among aliens.

No, the reason we’re fighting for our lives is because there is precious little difference in brands here.
Way too many Republicans kept giving candidates a pass and kept pulling the lever for anyone with an “R” after their name.

Voting yourself more freedom simply isn’t an option, at least if you want your vote to be taken seriously (and I’m not denigrating any third parties here; I’m just reflecting reality).

Which brings me back to why the Republicans need to get throttled: A humiliated, decimated GOP that rejuvenates and rebuilds around the principles of limited government, free markets, and rugged individualism is really the only chance for voters to possibly get a real choice in federal elections down the road.

Of course, there’s no guarantee that’s how the party will emerge from defeat. But the Republican Party in its current form has forfeited its right to govern.

I’ve seen these “Republicans” here in Minnesota. I’ve worked with them. Afraid of their own shadows, pulling for anybody who claims to be a “Republican”, they become irritating, cacophonous echo chambers. But, my lands, how they can spew conservative principles!
Talk is cheap.
After this election cycle, I’ll lay it out loud and proud to these time wasters in the Republican party:”Away with you. Begone I say and darken our halls no more!”

Disappointing.

The thing that struck me was that Palin has been taking flak for recycling her speeches, then HRC pulls out this old chestnut.

So, Monica Lewinsky’s now a spokesman for Jenny Craig? That’s surprising to me. She never was very discriminating in the past about what she put into her mouth. *rimshot*

I always liked this one: Monica Lewinsky overheard in a line waiting for a seat at the “21″ club — “Who do you have to blow to get a table in this place?”.

I turned on one of the evening news programs last night for the first time in a while. All I can say is I don’t expect Obama’s half-hour buy to get him much when he already gets ten to fifteen minutes of campaigning like that every night on three different stations nationally.

I’ve never understood how somebody as unfunny as Franken gets to call themselves a comedian. It’s like allowing Nancy Pelosi to call herself a beauty consultant.

I believe he considers himself a ‘Satirist’…That’s the trick he’s been using for years. He gets called on the horse$hit that is constantly running out of his blow hole and always comes back with..’That was just satire’. The commercials he’s running here are all on about how ‘The Bush Administration’ is the cause of the current financial crisis and Coleman went along with it.

More satire I guess…

That statement is factually incorrect.

From Dictionary.com:
liar: a person who tells lies.
lying: telling or containing lies; deliberately untruthful; mendacious; false
lie: a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood.

Rewriting the statement “a ‘lying liar’ is telling the truth” yields, “a deliberately untruthful person who tells intentional untruths is telling the truth.” Just sayin’, is all.

If he wins, he’ll fit in just perfect with Nancy Pelosi’s “most ethical, most honest, most open Senate in history” just fine.
