Biden: McCain is a “Die Hard”

posted at 4:15 pm on October 23, 2008 by Ed Morrissey

Anyone think this comparison will bother John McCain?  It’s certainly not going to bother Bruce Willis:

As Biden tried to tie McCain to President Bush this morning, he slipped and referred the Republican nominee as “John McLane.” He immediately recognized the mistake, and tried to roll with it.

“I don’t recognize him anymore. I used to know him well,” he said, before acknowledging it was “a bad joke.” The crowd laughed politely, anyway.

First Barack Obama will get pushed around on the international stage, and now McCain is a Die Hard.  There’s only one way to respond to that … and you know it’s not safe for work:

Do you really think you can beat us, Mr. Cowboy? He’s going to try, Joe.

Old white woman robbed and mutilated by Obama supporter for having a McCain sticker on car?

Obama said to “get in their faces”. I know he did not intend violence, but did he ever ONCE ask for it to stop? When Obama supporters were laughing about pointing a gun at Sarah Palin’s head in the museaum, did he call for it to stop? Did he denoucne the stealing of the signs or the shooting out of windows at hosues that had McCain signs? Did the media ONCE ever state how bad it was getting? NO NO NO and NO.

Will Obama vote present on THIS, too? Does he have enough courage to tell his worhsippers to stop?

A 20-year-old. Mutilated because Obama won’t control HIS lunatics. HE IS inciting this, the MEDIA is inciting this by lying about the polls and calling for riots. Jack Murtha is throwing fuel on the fire, too, by saying if Obama doesn’t win it’s because PA is racist.

Lying b*stards don’t understand that words have consequences.

m064404 on October 23, 2008 at 4:43 PM

I think this qualifies as a “hate crime”…………

let’s see how it is reported, day in, day out, 24/7,….

top of the page,…..

leading every news broadcast across the USA on network and cable news networks,…..

on talk radio news along with the traffic on the “ten”,….

front cover of Time, NewsWeek, and even the Rolling Stone,…

written into sit-coms,….

discussed on the View, Geraldo and Greta will do Specials with the victim,….

Sheppard Smith will cry,….

Chris Mathews will have an extra special tingle, someone will make someone else’s “Worst Person in the World” list,…

Dave Letterman, Jay Leno, Bill Maher, and John Stewart will become indignant,…

Andrea Mitchell will comment on the victim’s wardrobe,…

Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and the rest of the Democrats will stand in front of a thong of microphones and declare outrage and the need for an extra $700 trillion dollars to get to the bottom of this,….

and of course, President George W. Bush will be blammed for everything………….

………. does that pretty much some it up?

Seven Percent Solution on October 23, 2008 at 4:43 PM

YellowDawg on October 23, 2008 at 4:40 PM

Actually, I truly did not intend the pun. I read the story, and there are not a lot of details. The victim refused medical care. I am not sure why especially after you have been cut with someone’s dirty knife. Also, it looks like a walk up ATM. Supposedly the dude saw her McCain bumber sticker and then beat her and carved the B. I would not be suprised if this is some hoax to make the conservatives go crazy and then it will be revealed that it was a hoax, generating huge sympathy for the poor Dear Leader. Anyway, if it is true I feel so sorry for the victim.
