I kind of wish someone could make this point:

Yep. I’ve stopped my St. Vincent de Paul charity work. It is just too depressing in that the disintegrated families leave our typical female, black, divorced/single, not receiving child support, mother, overweight, diabetic, unemployable, client. I just can’t get myself to work these cases anymore because I believe we are reinforcing vice rather than pushing the Gospel. Our conference has been so focused on material needs and reinforcing dependency, and NOT reaching out to the souls of people. Obviously, I’m not the President of our chapter. It’s just dead. Our people we visit have little hope or dignity.

Thats where they need to take this commercial. Start with Joe, then move onto other people with their name and their job. Just a laundry list of regular people, with regular jobs. Pan out, show them cascading away from the camera. Thousands. Maybe a “Who are you?” tag line.

George Carlin was right- stupid, lazy people will vote in stupid lazy politicians, or worse. In this case, much worse. The only hope I have is that despite O spending half a billion or so, he’s still only up a few in most polls.

Have faith in the commonsense of your fellow Americans.

I remember hearing that “no one” voted for Reagan and he was elected to two terms. Then “no one” voted for Bush W. and he was re-elected, despite having his first term hi-jacked by 9/11.

On my cul-de-sac in liberal SoCal there are now 3 Obama signs and no McCain signs, but I know for a fact that at least 3 of the families on this block are Republicans. We don’t have signs because we live on a cul-de-sac near a neighborhood park and are surrounded by intolerant liberals — we don’t want our cars keyed. I really think there are a lot of people who are not responding to pollsters (or PUMA/Hillary supporters who lie to pollsters), but who are going to vote McCain-Palin on election day.

I have gotten discouraged some times, too, but when I step back from things and reflect on the popular support Palin has received, read the efforts that the PUMAs are making, and think about Rush’s huge listening audience, I believe McCain-Palin will win.

Do yourself a favor and read Rush’s site, as well as Hillbuzz, each day.

Because unlike the majority of people posting here, the general electorate is uneducated about the man, where he came from, who he learned from, what he stands for and the history of socialism. Many of those that DO know these things simply don’t care because of some vague notion of “hope and change”. Rather than make an educated decision, they’ll vote off of 30 second sound bites that favor him while showing any conservative (let alone McCain) in a negative light. The fourth message is one I haven’t seen. If Joe the Plumber and Ed the Dairyman is taxed, that means they have to raise their prices.

The poor will have to pay more for eggs, milk, meat, gas, heating, everything. When Obama raises taxes on the rich, the poor are the ones that will suffer the most. How far does your check from Obama go when you’re paying $5.00 a gallon for gas and $5.00 a gallon for milk?

Everyone who makes under $250,000 a year, you are Joe the Plumber too!

My point is that Obama should be easy to hit. There is so much questionable about him, his past, his plans, etc. And McCain hasn’t laid a glove on him. A good ad won’t do any good because the mainstream media will just drown it out with overwhelming positive stories about Obama. And their fact checkers will tell us how the ad is wrong on the facts.

So its up to McCain. He is the only one that can turn this around and I don’t think he is capable of doing it. He needs deep convictions to make his case and I don’t think McCain has any deep convictions. He is a compromiser, not a leader.

Now getting 250,000 people to show up at a McCain/Palin rally would dwarf what Obama did. It would show the American people that McCain is still in this. It would do more than any 30 second ad.

The Obama propaganda machine is counting on republicans giving up so they can win big. We need to fight to the end, how many times we have seen the underdog defeat the strong team in the last minute. Democrats are worried about a repeat of the 2004 election. Just remember GW was down and by noon on Election Day the demo-rats and the MSM were claiming victory. Then by night time the story changed, we need to stay focus.

Barack Obama has attack a private citizen who dared asked him a question that Barack answered in a way that reveals his true intentions for this country. His name is Samuel “Joe” Wurzelbacher, a typical middle class American working as a plumber from Ohio. He is now known as “Joe The Plumber”.

The message to you all is this: If you ask a legitimate question of your leaders, be prepared to have your entire life examined. It’s BULLSHIT! This isn’t fucking Russia! But this doesn’t surprise me. Obama being a socialist would naturally adopt other socialist ideologies…Yes, just like silencing his opponents. And you think this is bad just wait to see the power he will wield if the country is fooled into voting for him because he knows how to give a speech.

When Obama taxes small business, it kills jobs because the business will have to raises prices, and therefor be less competitive, or lay off employees. Big deal? How many poor people ever gave you a job? None. Successful people provide jobs and Obama wants to make them the bad guy. He plays class warfare by pitting workers against employers. Do you want to be successful? Well, good. But remember, Obama claims he is on your side now, but after you spend years and years working your butt off and become successful, he then becomes against you and wants to take what you earn for his own pet projects.
