Because reality and fantasy do not co-exist.
The overwhelming public “believes” the last 8 years is a disaster. That is what they believe. You can’t change that fact with a few ads…so you have to adapt to what is the “now” reality. If people, by now, knew what you know, Obama would not be ahead or even close in any poll. The fact is the majority of people believe the last 8 years was wasted. History will prove them wrong, but by then more then one president will have been voted into office.
You can never win an election telling the majority they are wrong and you are right.

The last two years by Randall Hoven on the American Thinker debunked every talking points Dems trotted out (10/19/08).

It is EXTREMELY BAD for McCain to further legitamize such false claims. He is paying back for his own failed 2000 presidential run, however, the face he slapped is not George W Bush. Those faces belong to the Republican voters.

BTW, Sarah Palin was on fire today too.

We have to keep the Acorn criminals from stealing the election. You can do more than just vote on election day — you can watch the polls and make sure the Democrats don’t steal votes.

That’s why I don’t believe the NYT/CBS poll. And yes, I do believe that these “polls” are about Republican voter disenfranchisement.

Wasn’t Kerry up by 10 at this point in ‘04?

The FICA taxes are supposed to go towards SS and Medicare.
If Obama is refunding these taxes, then this means that the SS and Medicare revenues will have to be replaced out of general funds. Meaning someone else’s taxes.

McCain’s point is still valid.

This one little tidbit that does go unnoticed. Teh One has called for removal of the cap on Social Security taxes. So, when higher income earners will be doubly hit with a higher personal income tax rate as well as increased Social Security taxes.

But, it’s all a matter of fairness, right?

Fight for a new direction for our country. Fight for what’s right for America.

Fight to clean up the mess of corruption, infighting and selfishness in Washington.

Fight to get our economy out of the ditch and back in the lead.

Fight for the ideals and character of a free people.

Fight for our children’s future.

Fight for justice and opportunity for all.

Stand up to defend our country from its enemies.

Sorry about the paranioa mode, but could this be the real purpose behind the ACORN voter drive? To “force” polsters to over-sample Dems based on voter registration? The desired result would be to discourage Republicans from voting. No need for massive voting fraud when your opponent’s base is too doscouraged to even go to the polls.

Time to take off the tin foil hat…
