Rather than smiling out of arrogance, I think that the smirk is one of BO’s “tells”. I think he’s been carefully trained (programmed) to smile if something is angering him, rather than risk showing that anger (which might scare those precious middle-of-the-roaders).

I haven’t gone back and reviewed the debate, but the impression I had at the time was that the biggest grins came in response to the hardest whacks from McCain. A better-performing candidate than McCain might have been able to see that and could have adjusted his oration on-the-fly to maximize the grins.

Columbia, on the other hand rescues Americans, kills terrorists and drug lords has a beneficial trade relationship with us, they are our allies in every sense of the word and they also just happen to be fighting the Dictator next door (that the Dems also adore), but the unions in Columbia are crying about trade, so, the Democrats say, screw them! We’d rather play footsie with Iran, because you know, their civil rights record is so much better.

That’s whats so nice about liberals, they peg the hypocrisy meter, every time.

Obama does nothing but regurgitate the tired, old protectionist rhetoric and excuses from organized labor. It gives a different meaning to the term “no brainer”.

For Obama supporters, like those in the media who are suddenly emboldened to ask aloud “why does Ayers matter to anyone?”, I can only ask why they don’t see clearly. But obviously, they have their eyes closed.

The answer is easy: Obama’s entire philosophy is informed by leftists like Ayers. When he goes to his “300 foreign policy advisors” – and it will be often, since he doesn’t know shit – he’ll need to decide whom to believe, and it’s obvious that the ones who’ll get his ear are the radical leftists.

Every issue on which he has been forced into commenting on exposes a man woefully uninformed about just about everything, who’s first response is dictated by a knee-jerk.

Interesting times ahead.

Yeah, and a lot of Communist and Venezuela/Chavez/Castro/China/Guevera flags, banners, images and such were displayed in most of those larger “immigrant” (so-called) “rallies” nationwide in the last years. And the whole Hispanic/Latino ethnic supremacy movement is aligned with same.

The problems we have as a nation here in the U.S. with unbridled immigration and illegal immigration included, really IS a national security concern. It’s no more “racist” to oppose illegal immigration than it is “racist” to not vote for Obama. BUT the same nasty accusations about both arise from exactly the same politic.

One way or the other, the mask will come off of B.O. after November. The American people, including many if the idiots who are chanting his name right now will be disturbed by all we find out.
I only pray that he will be returning to finish his one and only term in the Senate and not be heading to the Oval Office to inflict pain on this country for the next four years.

I thought like that a long time ago, but when they are in the W.H. the only way we will know there is turmoil in the world is when are hair is falling out from radiation.

The Colombian unions have long been infiltrated by FARC operatives and have undermined the political process in Columbia.

Years ago, I read several articles about Spielberg visiting Cuba and he returned and enthused that his “eight hours with Castro were the most important hours of (his) life” (I paraphrase).

Not the birth of his children, not his wedding, not meeting his wife for the first time, not their first kiss, but his powwow with Castro.

I think that sums-up what’s wrong with our U.S. entertainment industry: they perceive truly evil individuals as heroic.

Pretty well explains Obama’s coast to the top on the backs of the gullible, willing, non-examining Left.

I have read on the internet so many times from Obama campaigners the words, “what’s WRONG with Communism” or, “so WHAT if it’s Communism, what’s wrong with that”?

They’re obviously the indoctrinated, misled generations that American Thinker is describing in that article, and the Bill Ayers and Obama’s of the world are to blame for that.
