I disagree with the premise that exposing the Rev. Wright/Obama association is racist. The premise is that Obama spent 20 years listening to someone who preached a very radical left point of view. When combined with the other Obama associations such as Ayers, ACORN, his mentor in Hawai'i, his time at Columbia and Havard Law, his other travels, Tony Rezko, etc. paint a picture, a picture that Obama, his campaign and the sycophants in the MSM do not want the general public to see.

And, just what is that picture? A far left leaning, socialistic, elitist, wealth redistributionistic, globalistic person and someone that most Americans would reject.

<blockquote>The media are sitting on a story that will make a complete liar out of Obama. McCain doesn’t need to touch Rev. Wright. He is a Third Rail in this election.

This is a rope a dope in a grand form. "No, I am not going to bring up Wright." "The McCain camp will not bring up the Wright issue. Why?" And so it goes and YET what has happened? There has been a Wright topic discussed almost every day for say about the past 2 weeks. Not talking about it? Hmmmm, I thing the not talking about it IS talking about it. Rather a brilliant stroke in one sense.

There is evidence that McCain can win, and for the confidence of Manly Rash. For one, Rush's question story. You know that question 56 or 76 or whatever that says more of us are Conservative than whacked out Commie Socialist. Next would be Democrats. I know, I know HE, THAT ONE, is their nominee, but is HE really? I have found surfing the web that more than just PUMAS are not in love with the "cool demeanor" and "intelligence" of THAT ONE. Just looking at the internal numbers it looks to me like there are more Democrats defecting to the McCain camp than visa versa. Some just are not completely convinced Marxism is the way to go, and I believe some think that if THE MESSIAH wins he will ruin the DNC for well over 40 years. Laugh if you like, but there are many a Democrat that thinks THE MANCHILD is a pathway to certain Democrat destruction. Besides, 15 million PUMAS is nothing to sneeze at!

On a pure racial issue, Juan Williams has said he thinks well beyond 5% will NOT vote for THE COMMUNITY ORGANIZER. Even THE ONE and his campaign has said Democrats are racial bigots. Kind of like Murtha's latest revelation, but said with much more flair! LOL! Can you imagine being a Democrat, and being called a racist? Dude! But there is more to this than just racially charged rhetoric from the lead cheerleader for ACORN. It is the the radicalism of racism THE ONE represents. Anyone heard those excerpts from HIS book? S C A R Y and there is a lot there that scares the hell out of most Americans.

When voters get in the booth and look at what might happen with Reid, Pelosi and Obama running this show; I believe the OS moment will happen and people will say, "This COMMUNITY ORGANIZER seems a little more organized with some bad people, and might, just might come after me-- look at what they did to Joe the Plumber when he exposed Obama by getting a response out of Obama that sounded a lot like socialism."

Despite the decreasing numbers for THAT ONE, we do need to pray and pray hard. We need to ask God for forgiveness, and we need to pray for strength. We also need to pray for protection for America. The world is shaping up to be a more dangerous place as each day passes. The Horn of Africa, Iran, Russia, China, all of South America, and Pakistan would be a few areas that come to mind.

I would also like to echo CC in the internet information problem THE ONE has, and one he absolutely hates. If you will think back for a moment you will remember THE MANCHILD has been consumed with what we have been doing on the internet. For a while there he was obsessed with the "rumors" and "lies" on the internet. He also had the the screaming memes over talk radio. Just recently he has slipped and thrown in a few comments about MSM types, but that was mostly about Fox. The MSM has been failing in drawing larger numbers of viewers, and it looks very similar to the disease that has been spreading in the print media. Many people have seen the biases of the MSMLSDS, and turned to the internet. Hi yal! Don't you just love Hot Air! Yep, the public likes Hot Air. I believe CC is very correct about the public looking to internet sources for the truth.

I am like little Natalie Wood in "Miracle on 34th Street", I believe, I believe, I believe! Rock on Manly!

<blockquote>ErinF on October 19, 2008 at 9:32 AM</blockquote> Thanks for that link. It was a good video. In my deeply blue state, I only know devoted Obama voters, no independents or undecideds. There is nothing that can dissuade them. <strong>That's why decisively beating them is much more important than educating them</strong>. They are beyond educating. They are a lost generation to America, and will always be a dangerous fifth column in our midst.

Maybe McCain can purchase some tv time just before the election like obama has and use it to play the vid.

Wow! This pretty much sums it up perfectly. About 10 minutes long, but it's the best synopsis I've seen so far:

Send this link on to anybody out there that [a] doesn't think this election is important, [b] is STILL "on the fence", [c] has been suckered into the Hope/Change propaganda, [d] thinks McCain is a Bush 3rd-term (gimme a break), or [e] simply doesn't care about where this country is headed.

<blockquote>“‘If we were to go up with an ad during the final weeks of this campaign just showing excerpts of [Wright's] sermons, we would probably win,’ says one senior McCain aide, who declined to be named discussing internal debates on tactics. ‘But we won’t.’“</blockquote>

Fine. Then for our Constitution's sake, will the-powers-that-be finally put up an ad that reveals Obama's own words?! Recall, it was Obama himself who challenged us all with his speech:

Every day that passes, the old media become less and less powerful, more and more people get their information from the Internet. The number of people that believe TV and newspapers are honest shrinks every day.

Can you trust what you find on the net? Absolutely not. But, as we have learned the hard way, old media is as much, if not more, untrustworty. You at least have an opportunity to seek the truth in an open forum. Old media never permitted that. They completely controlled the "news" until Limbaugh began telling us news that was never reported on the networks or most newspapers.

When you look around the world, you see various countries trying desparately to control what people can and cannot learn on the net... old media is too easily controlled but the net presents an opportunity at freedom of that most powerful of tools... information.

To combat old media had huge barriers to entry. Who could afford to purchase a network or newspaper? The cost today to enter the market of ideas is $9.95 at GoDaddy or some other seller of domains plus a hosting cost. Anyone can do it from anywhere. I believe Obama's campaign represents the last desparate attempt of old media to direct and control an outcome. Liberal/socialist ideology has always had to misrepresent (lie about) their views and objectives. That becomes less and less possible with each passing day. Even the "big dogs" of the net try to control information in subtle and not so suble ways.... Google, You Tube, you name it. But information always seems to find a way to get out.

Nielson Ratings mean nothing on the net. Hits are instantly known. Lie to us and watch those hits drop like a rock. Present truth and watch them rise.

Even the “big dogs” of the net try to control information in subtle and not so suble ways…. Google, You Tube, you name it. But information always seems to find a way to get out.

Nielson Ratings mean nothing on the net. Hits are instantly known. Lie to us and watch those hits drop like a rock. Present truth and watch them rise.

Why should anyone, aside from his own team, respect McCain's wishes?

McCain is an expedient. People will be voting for him, simply because they don't want Obysmal.

McCain is there representing the Republican Party as its servant. Not the other way around. Someone let McCain know.

At the expense of preserving his reputation as a "gentleman" McCain is prepared to lose the presidency and inflict a Socialist regime on the US.

Fuck that and fuck McCain.

Conservative PACs should run these ads anyway and do all the hard edged, but thoroughly necessary campaigning that McCain doesn't have the stomach for.

It's not about having McCain as president.

It's about stopping Obama.

From an authoritative and comprehensive post at zomblog (don't even think of suggesting that this is a photo-shopped fake, because you'll just make an utter fool of yourself if you do)(h/t Ace), here is a photograph of the short book review written by then Illinois state senator Barack Obama for Bill Ayers' then-new book, A Kind and Just Parent: The Children of Juvenile Court, as published on page 5 of section 14 of the Chicago Tribune on Sunday, December 21, 1997:
Barack Obama's review of Bill Ayers' book, Chicago Tribune, Dec. 21, 1997

As it happens, our country is now in need of courageous individuals — voters who have the courage to use their common sense.

Common sense, after all, is all that is needed to realize that we can't risk the future of our country on a would-be president who has such poor judgment as to glorify the work of an unrehabilitated and unrepentant domestic terrorist turned radical "educator."

Common sense, after all, is all that it takes to realize that we can't risk the future of our country on a would-be president who is dishonest enough to try to conceal his relationship with that twisted dollop of evil scum by describing him as just "a guy from my neighborhood."

As ahs been said before, in the content of our economic situation, maybe the Wright issue isn't "necessary" or even desirable (due to potential to backfire).

Mr. Wurzelbacher is, in my opinion, the <em>anti-matter Wright/Ayers </em>McCain needs.

YET, I found the following on Obama/Ayers VERY interesting :

Ayers is not a lost cause, it's the whole reason Obama is worth a fuck. Not Ayers, actually. Dohrn.

When Annenberg was coming up with his $500 mil challenge, he talked to Newton Minow, senior counsel of Sidley & Austin, chairman of the Carnegie Corporation (1993–1997), Annenberg Professor of Communications Law and Policy at Northwestern University (1987–2003) and director of its Annenberg Washington Program (1987–1996).

Who was interning for Sidley & Austin? Why Barack Obama, of course. You know who were regular employees? One Michelle Robinson (Obama) and one Bernadine Dohrn. It just so happens that the authors of the winning grant proposal for the Chicago Annenberg Grant were: William Ayers, Anner Hallet, and Warren Chapman.

Does anyone else find it a little shady that members of the law firm consulted by Annenberg just happened to have spouses that wrote winning grant proposals? And that one of the final board members was Susan Blankenbaker Noyes, former labor attorney at Sidley & Austin; daughter of Republican former Indiana state senator Virginia Murphy Blankenbaker; goddaughter of Patricia Albjerg Graham? Patricia Albjerg Graham just happened to be the woman who agreed to be the vice chairman if Barack Obama accepted the chairmanship.

Obama is connected more closely with Dohrn, which is why the Ayers thing is not quite panning out as it should. True, they are married, but Dohrn was far more radical than Ayers. The SDS birthed two movements - the Revolutionary Youth Movement 2 (Klonsky) and the Revolutionary Youth Movement 1 (Ayers, Dohrn, and the other Weathermen). Dohrn is FAR more radical than her beta male counterpart Ayers.

Bernadine Dohrn said, "Dig it! First they killed those pigs and then they put a fork in their bellies. Wild!" concerning the Tate-Bianca murders. Go read her Wiki article. She's the real link into Barack Obama.

Of course not. A true Catholic doesn't let his fellow Catholics get away with shit or be the Devil's bitch. The one thing I need and want when I encounter temptation is to be JUDGED severely, not coddled in my squalor.

I remember one time my best friend was over at our house and we went over to BestBuy to buy a computer monitor with the intention to just borrow it and return it for a full refund before the month was up due to there very generous return policies. Well my wife found out and went apeshit telling me that we were wrong to do that because their return policy was NOT for borrowing stuff, but to return stuff that was different from what you thought you bought or it was damaged, etc. We are divorced now. However, she was right and her moral outrage was just what I needed. Funny thing is, her sense of moral outrage I found VERY attractive to me when I was courting her.

His "hopefull outlook"?
Do you have to be high on something to get Obabambi's speeches? All I hear him talk about is George Bush.
Oh, I guess tax cus for 95% of us, Government Healthcare that works, College for everybody, eliminating the deficit, having the whole world love us and getting us off oil in ten years can be considered "hopeful".

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........................

<blockquote>Good judgment makes good presidents.

A chief executive's <strong>ability to be steady yet decisive, and thoughtful when bravado might be enticing, can be the difference between success and disaster</strong> in the Oval Office. <strong>It's more important than experience, which can be mistakenly equated with wisdom.</strong>

So the choice Americans face in the Nov. 4 presidential election is a clear one: between the relatively inexperienced Democratic senator from Illinois, Barack Obama, who has shown a knack for developing well-reasoned solutions to the nation's many critical problems, and John McCain, the longtime Republican senator from Arizona, a genuine American war hero with a creditable streak of political independence, who has shown himself to be erratic, impulsive and bullheaded as a political leader.</blockquote>

<blockquote>That Obama would be the first African American elected president is of no policy import, but would be a <strong>symbol of American progress, to people in this country and around the world.</strong> That he is relatively young and a gifted speaker is also of little substantive importance, <strong>though his soaring rhetoric and hopeful outlook could be beneficial in rallying Americans to face today's challenges together</strong>.</blockquote>
