Obama supporter steals vote from disabled man

posted at 7:52 am on October 17, 2008 by Ed Morrissey

Georgia state officials have begun an investigation into Primus Industries and the alleged voter fraud committed by one or more of its employees. Jack Justice attends the adult day care provided by Primus for mentally-challenged individuals, and one or more Primus aides took them to an early voting event without permission from their families. Once in the booth, the aide cast the ballot for Barack Obama over Justice’s protestations:

WALB does a good job in its initial report on the story. If the Tanning Bed Media gets involved, which of these people/entities would get violated by invading their privacy unnecessarily?

  • Primus Industries’ owners
  • The aide that stole the vote
  • Jack Justice

I suspect the answer is #3.  Read Michelle’s column today on Operation Destroy Joe the Plumber, and you’ll probably agree.  We would probably have to give this the name Operation Destroy Justice.

The aide may have more problems than just a voter-fraud charge, although that’s enough; it’s a felony in most cases.  If he or she signed an oath as the report states, then Georgia could also charge the aide with perjury, which will get several years in prison.  Maybe the aide will hope for a presidential pardon if he or she steals enough votes …

Ed is right. They will attack Jack by saying he is mentally challenged and is confused about what box the aide selected.

Unless there is a record of how a person voted, it will be her word against a handicapped person. And of course, if Jack has a history of confusion or odd behavior, that will be front and center as the evidence that he is mistaken.

Change & Hope we can count on!

What we are witnessing is the total destruction of our free election system by Obama, the DNC, the Liberal media, and organizations funded by our own tax dollars and created by Democrats for the sole purpose of putting Liberals in a position of power.

It’s all about power by any and all means necessary.

We suffer as a Democracy, as a free people, if we sit back and allow this attack from within to go without complete accountability. Every person involved must be punished to the full extent of the law, or our laws are then compromised.

The media is a willing and eager participant in promoting someone that really would not even had made it into the primaries is even 1% of his activities and history were exposed by the media. I think two things will come from this election. It will go down in our history as a banana republic style election complete with massive fraud and imitation. The MSM as we see it today will end. Of course in most of these films the dystopia is implicitly a right-wing creation, whereas every actual dystopian society in history, from Hitler’s Germany to Pol Pot’s Cambodia, was created by ‘progessives’ and socialists.

Obama Organizer Targets the Big House

T.W. Farnam reports on the presidential race.

Barack Obama’s campaign prides itself on grassroots organizing, with thousands of staff members targeting numerous subsets of the population for voter registration and persuasion. One even sought to register inmates.

An internal email from the Michigan Department of Corrections in August describes a request from the campaign to enter jails to register those inmates set to be released before Election Day.

An Obama spokesman in Michigan acknowledged that a new organizer made the request, but supervisors nixed the idea as soon as they found out about it. The campaign denied all association with a second request to the Department of Corrections. The emails say that a Theresa Collins, identified as the national coordinator of “Inmates to Support Barack Obama,” asked the prison to post information about how prisoners could make campaign contributions to Obama. That group doesn’t appear to have any Web site.

The email chain shows that Richard Stapleton, administrator of the department’s Office of Legal Affairs, told a colleague to deny the campaign’s request. The email, which Washington Wire received from Obama opponent, was verified by a Corrections Department spokesman.

“We’ve got to make sure they’re out first,” said John Cordell, the spokesman. “We could say you’re out on Oct. 31, but if they do something between now and Oct. 31 that would make us think they’re a danger to society, then we’ll rescind their parole.”

Cordell said that around 10,000 inmates are released from Michigan jails each year. They are legally allowed to vote as soon as they are discharged or paroled, and a social worker typically helps them register at that time.

The campaign has said that it hasn’t tried to register felons, although it does provide information on whether state law allows felons to vote. Conservatives have made hay over some of Obama’s supporters and his connections. An article about a death-row inmate who endorsed Obama was widely picked up by right-wing blogs.

This has got to be the largest coordinated attack on our free election system in the history of our Democracy. The Obama campaign will go down in history as the most corrupt campaign ever; that is unless Obama wins and then gets his followers to erase our history and replace with his own version. After all, I recently read where a 3RD grade class book somewhere in this country, had an Obama chapter already included. Jeeez

This is nothing new,it’s just that finally there’s a meme out there and some people are noticiing.

It happens every election that somebody “votes” the nursing homes and centers like this. I was in an election re-count (a congressional recount, not Bush-Gore) in 2000 and when we were going over the register with the county auditor, we came across a bunch of signatures that were all the same at the same address. When we asked about it, the auditor said “Oh yeah, that’s a nursing home.” I guess it’s possible that all 20-30 people who were over the age of 70 had arthritis and just couldn’t sign but it looked pretty damn suspicious.

I don’t think the marxist/socialist/progressive democrats and MSM really realize the depth of hatred and antipithy they are creating with their antics in this and the last few elections. My mother-in-law died out of state this week, and the old country girl, after her onset of grief had abated somewhat spontaneously said that there is another vote for Obama. When this marxist crap reaches down and intrudes into personal grief, the separation in this country is rapidly reaching the point of no healing.

I rather liked V for Vendetta - in spite of the ludicrous theocratic-dictatorship set-up for the plot. Once you get past that (and I do, since I refuse to let my political inclinations ruin my cinematic pleasures) it’s very well done. The acting is good, the cinematography and special effects are outstanding and the soundtrack is phenomenal. Also, Natalie Portman does a very passable British accent.

If Obama wins, freedom-loving Americans will have to become an underground resistance and never speak openly of their plans. Think I’m paranoid? Maybe, but remember, even paranoids have enemies. And Obama will be able to count his enemies in the millions and his mortal enemies in the thousands.

BL@KBIRD on October 17, 2008 at 10:14 AM

I disagree that these stories aren’t being picked up the media. It looks like the local news media in battleground states are doing the legwork and getting this out there and that’s much more important than whether Katie and Charlie decide to cover it. The local media caters directly to their constituents, the ones who are going to decide this election. What I find really interesting is that these media outlets are essentially independently working on a common theme – outing ACORN and affiliates, showing a clear connection between voter and registration fraud and support for Obama – with absolutely clear evidence that this is not some type of orchestrated Republican effort.

Frankly I think it is something we should be proud of as Americans: the Fourth Estate doing its job. And remember these local reporters are not part of the elites: they don’t have connections to celebrities, they are really just like an average citizen, trying to do their job as best they can.

peterargus on October 17, 2008 at 10:21 AM

I help my next door neighbor vote every election. She’s a Democrat. She knows my political affiliation but insists I do her voting, because her live-in helper refused to help her vote in any matter in which they disagreed — and in fact said that if she “forced” the helper to aid her, the helper would vote the helper’s conscience, not what my neighbor desired.

In helping my neighbor vote, I’ve had to vote against myself any number of times, but that’s the necessary side effect of helping someone else exercise their right to vote.

I suspect that my situation is not unique, and that there are many people, of all political persuasions, who will help their neighbors of a different political persuation vote, and they will not violate the trust their neighbor has placed in them.

The family should file a complaint with social services. This is clearly exploitation and the worker should be fired!

In some states, like mine, there is no restriction on mental capacity when it comes to voting. I am my adult son’s guardian and I had a time with his day program provider when it came to registering him to vote. I would not allow him to register as he does not have the ability even know what a president is. His case manager insisted I could not make the decision for him, he wanted to put a pencil in my son’s hand and help him sign a declination form for voting. I grabbed the paper and signed the form as guardian with the case worker sitting there, chin dopped.
I called someone I know with the Sec. of State’s office and he agreed that there is plenty of room for people like my son to be exploited but none of the politicians want to tighten up the rules because they would appear to be anti disabled.

“Underground” was where the planning, command and control took place. The actions of the Resistance were overt and highly visible. They may not have decided the outcome, but they were a continual thorn in the side of the Nazi regime. Without them and the intelligence they provided, Operation Overlord might not have been possible.
Also, the colonials had more success, early on, firing on redcoats from ambush rather than in massed, Napoleonic charges.
Know your enemy and exploit their weakness. “Underground” is a tactic, not a way of life.
