I found it amazing that Jay knows more about Joe the Plumber than he knows about The One. It’s almost as if Joe’s running for Prez, not Barry. How strange.

He doesn’t have a plumber’s license. He is working illegally. He tried to hide his voter’s registration affiliation. He knows a member of the Keating 5. His family has contributed many thousands to Republicans, and nothing to Democrats. He completely misrepresented himself to Obama and the media, falsifying his self-description as a plumber, a political independent, and a viable businessman. In fact, he has judgements against him and hasn’t been paying his taxes. He has also been said to be conducting several extramarital affairs. And there is suspicion that he’s KKK.

I see Obama mocking the fact a plumber can make 250,000 , and laugh about it? What an errogant ass. He cares nothing of self motivated successful people and just wants to give hand-outs out. Oh and there’s lazy ones with ballots in hand just waiting for those hand-outs which is why they’ll vote for him. I see where this is going if he gets in there. We need to insure he doesnt.

Obama’s apparatchiks could at least post the exact income level that turns you into an official Enemy Of The State, instead of a hard-working, salt-of-the-earth guy whom they are SO in touch with that they are practically wearing your pants. What’s the cutoff? And is it adjustable by region? I’d be doing pretty well to make six figures where I live, but a hundred grand wouldn’t get me a decent double-wide trailer in coastal California. How much wealth do I need to accumulate before I become a spreader, instead of a spreadee?

It tells you everything you need to know about Obama that he thinks it’s amazing that a small-business owner could make somewhat more money than a senator.

My favorite plumber joke: A guy hires a plumber to fix some pipes in his basement. The plumber hands him a huge bill for his services. The customer says, “You know, I’m a neurosurgeon, and I don’t charge this much per hour.” The plumber replies, “Hey, when I was a neurosurgeon, neither did I.”

Joe is Exhibit A that this is The Last Election. It’s not just Obama and his Alinsky tactics, it’s the convergence of socialism’s many successes over the years, coming together at a perfect-storm moment. McCain may yet pull this out of the fire (or Joe might do it for him) but we should never forget the things we have seen these past few months. Even if we win, this was way too close, and it speaks badly of a debased, degenerate electorate that it would tolerate someone like Obama as a serious candidate. Never forget the simple drama you see playing out today: an average guy dared to ask a question of the Messiah, and he is being comprehensively destroyed for it. I have to think this will play out to Obama’s detriment. And if it doesn’t, maybe the country, as a whole, really is past the point of no return.

Think about this: even if he wins the election, Barack Obama will never do another unscreened man-on-the-street interview, and he will not be held to account for this at all. The press will cheer him on when he uses the Fairness Doctrine to shut down the talk-radio shows, and possibly the Web sites, that a dwindling red-state America relies upon.

The Obama campaign has been about only one thing, from the very beginning: silencing dissent. Every significant movement, from playing the race card to throwing various inconvenient types under the bus, to ACORN voter fraud and today’s plumber-da-fe, has been about repression. A man who refuses to allow even the most cursory investigation of his past is not winning an election, he is staging a takeover… saying that you MUST trust him, emphasis on the MUST.

Even Biden’s silly lie-o-rama debate was a kind of repression, answering the doubts of the electorate with ridiculous nonsense the voters are told, by the silence of the supposedly impartial press, they are not allowed to question. The electorate is being told, in no uncertain terms, that questioning the One is not permitted.

The beauty of the American system is that this will only work if we, collectively, allow it to work. The horror of the system is that it only has to work once. When the average Joes are permanently outnumbered by those to whom Obama wants to “spread the wealth,” plus a few imaginary and undead voters, they will never have another chance to speak up… so they better do it now.

Now McCain needs to really hammer this hard.

I heard Joe the Plumber say that he believed in paying taxes, just not EXTRA taxes in order to subsidize Socialism, and he reiterated that again when questioned by Dianne Sawyer.
