Video: Conservatives have a fee-vah and the only prescription is more Joe the Plumber
posted at 12:00 pm on October 16, 2008 by Allahpundit
Four minutes from the impromptu presser outside his home this morning. It’s like “Meet John Doe” but without the newspaper columnist pulling the strings! If there was any doubt about his political affiliation before, listen to him on social security and Iraq and watch those doubts melt away. Can a cameo at a ‘Cuda rally be far off?
The highlight: One of the reporters trying to kookify him by pressing him on some sort of old association with the Natural Law Party. He’s middle class and conservative; there simply must be some extremism in there somewhere.
Update: Let the ritual humiliation by airing his dirty laundry begin.

Blowback

Watch out Joe, Obama’s team will investigate you like they did Sarah Palin. They’ll do more than PLUGS did this morning…

I love it. One guy..ONE FREAKING GUY asks The Messiah a tough question and the left wants to destroy him. McCain and Palin have every question-asker in the country stacked against them.

It would be a great idea,to get ‘Joe’ at

No scripts, zip, zero.Just let the guy speak!

No, because reporters never brought it up. Not to mention the fact that its completely true.

I felt bad for the guy even talking to that black widow, Diane Sawyer. She and Obama both shop at the same mask store. I shudder to think of what either really looks like underneath.
JiangxiDad on October 16, 2008 at 12:06 PM
He better be careful. He’s liable to end up dead in a ditch somewhere. Liberals and Obamathugs are not going to let this go on much longer.

He owes less back taxes than Rangel and Al Franken.

I feel sorry for the guy, because the Anal Exam by the self-appointed Media Proctologists has begun
Remember the “ASSMAN” Seinfeld episode> Joe might as well apply for those plates
But mostly, I’m proud of him, BECAUSE IF ANYONE SYMBOLIZES WHAT AMERICA IS, HE DOES
If the RNC and McCain can make good use of this guy–and he can avoid the media procto-scoping–he might substantively affect this election
stranger things have happened in politics……….

Amazing how much interest the media has in investigating someone who opposes Obama. But oppose McCain and you’re just dandy.

BuckeyeSam on October 16, 2008 at 12:16 PM
So Joe owes $1,182.92 in back taxes.
It’s a b*itch when you have to work for living and owe taxes. All because some lazy a** liberal doesn’t want to work and the government wants you to support him.
BobK on October 16, 2008 at 12:16 PM
There’s absolutely no doubt. It’s exactly what they’re going to do, and it hasn’t even started yet. His entire family is going to pay the price for this.

ninjapirate on October 16, 2008 at 12:17 PM
And to think, all he really did was ask Obama a direct question. They’re already going after him.
I wonder how THAT will play in middle America. We’ve seen what they’ll do to women they don’t like, black people they don’t like – now they’ll go after the working white guy, just for expressing concern as a citizen.
It’s amazing that they win any damned thing.

We’re admitted partisans who are rooting for an Obama loss openly. The media is supposedly an objective outlet that’s keeping them honest and telling the truth. Apples and oranges.

So Joe owes $1,182.92 in back taxes.
Unsupported by any relevant data, I might add. Is this a records mistake, is it under review, is it a some sort of non-payment because of a zoning dispute?
No supporting documentation whatsoever and I am supposed to fly into a rage over it?
I hate these lefties.

Joe the Plumber is so refreshing. Not nuanced or PC, he’s basically calling out The One for being the thieves they are. This grand redistribution plan is pure robbery. At least twice last night, BarryO justified his plans on the basis of “they can afford it.” Joe the Plumber’s outrage on GMA was delightful. He was asked if One Million in income would be a better place to draw the line for the increase. His response was that, no, it doesn’t make sense to punish someone for being more successful. Liberals must hate him.
EconomicNeocon on October 16, 2008 at 12:22 PM
With the media zeroed in on Joe, get him asking about Ayers, Wright, and Acorn. And have him blame the lazy-ass media for whitewashing Obama’s record.
What McCain’s been unable to get in through the front, Joe can get in through the back door as he takes a Roto-Rooter to Obama and Biden!
BuckeyeSam on October 16, 2008 at 12:22 PM
I want a liberal to complain when something happens and they HAVE to call Joe the Plumber, Bill the Electrician, or another Tom, Dick and Harry Construction due to something wrong with thier house.
Maybe these hard working Men and Women, who actually HAVE to get a college education (if in a Union due to Standards) while OJT in their career field, should charge 10% more to fix what these liberals broke. Whether it be a plugged drain, a screw in a electrical cord or maybe the foundation of their house is sinking.
Joe is the typical American we all know. He IS the foundation. I hope the Liberals realize this.

Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber are helping to put an end to the ridiculous ntion that the Dems represent the middle class in this country and that’s why the Left will do whatever is necessary to destroy them. It’s also why the Republican elite are jumping ship. They have no interest being associated with the party of Joe the Plumber whom they too despise.
