I’m still skeptical that there’s a mechanism in place capable of converting bogus registrations into bogus votes, especially on a mass scale

Let’s see. You have several people looking at the lists of non voting registrants after the polls close. You then vote for them. I know, I know, there are supposed to be nonpartisan/both sides watching each polling place, but you can’t watch everywhere. How do you think they kept coming up with more votes in Florida every time there was a recount. If they had recounted a couple more times, they would have had the time to stuff enough ballots in the box.
That’s just one way. I am sure the Chicago team has alot more ways than that.

The fact that it isn’t, under “Miss” Brunner (who increasingly reminds me of her namesake in the Jerry Cornelius novels by Michael Moorcock) I find troubling, but not particularly surprising.

The question is whether Americans have an understanding of the founding father’s vision for this country? Do they want “Liberty” or do they want gov’t enforced “Equality”? Will the motto’s of the revolutionary war still resonate in our souls…
“Don’t tread on me!”
“Liberty or death!”
“Live free or die!”

methinks most american’s could care less as long as they have gas for their car/truck and a flat screen TV (preferably at someone else’s expense).

According to a map “out there” somewhere, it is only OH and PA which have extremely high numbers of such troubles. Admittedly, there are about a good dozen others with 10-20,000 questionable ones….

Fraud on this scale should be a capital offense, given that it strikes at the very legitimacy of our government. And without a legitimate government in Washington, millions could die around the world as the warlike are not restrained, diseases are not checked, disasters do not get emergency food and sanitary supplies, and Europe falls into financial and social anarchy.

These ACORNs should not fall from the tree; they should swing beneath it.

Oh I wouldn’t be too sure of that; in the not too distant past parts of Phillie were found to have more votes than registered voters. Major oops…..

I live in NE Pa in Luzerne County. In order to get a library card I had to produce a picture ID AND a bill/statement that reflected my address. Why is it being racist when similar requirements should be enforced in order to vote? (I already know that answer to that) :-(

A small miracle seems afoot; Mayor Lou Barletta-R is leading Paul Kanjorski-D for Congress. Wish the lead were greater, but it’s amazing that Kanjorski is running behind….he’s owned that seat for forever. Kanjorski is a big buddy of Murtha’s; oh how I would like to see him go…..actually see both of them go.
