I never thought I’d live to see the day, but if reason and honesty doesn’t emerge soon we might just see battles in the streets.

If ACORN files 100,000 fraud registrations… this allows other parties on election day to potentially have the opportunity to inject 100,000 fraud ballots into the balloting regardless of the names used to register.

Would you believe it: the Los Angeles Times has criticized CNN for doing a smear piece against Sarah Palin (Hat tip: Hot Air). When they’re the ones to write such an entry, you know CNN may have really crossed the line….

Who’s going to stop them? Is the RNC mobilizing experienced poll watchers to oversee the process?

and kick any democrat in the nuts if he tries to stuff said box..

I mean, 20 years ago, the candidate tied to something like this would not only be yanked by their own party from the ticket, but he would be lucky to not be in handcuffs. Where has our great country gone?

This is a terrible problem because of county voter demographics. I’m a committeewoman for the Orange County GOP in FL. When the county parties see that an area has become far more democratic, it causes problems in the party and leads to them not contributing or volunteering as much for candidates in the area. If ACORN signs of 10000 dems and only 10% of them slip through the cracks, that still makes a significant dent in which party gains power in that county.

Thank you for sharing that important info that probably many would never consider. It’s really an eye opener!

The problem comes for those mailing in absentee ballots. If poll workers are willing to “look the other way” and not reject mismatches between names and addresses on absentee ballots and DMV records for driver’s licenses, there could be potential for massive fraud. Once a mail-in absentee ballot is separated from the mailing envelope, there is no further way to check the validity of the voter, and the fraudulent votes could be counted.

There need to be GOP poll-watchers present when absentee ballots are processed, ready to protest when an absentee-ballot name matches a registration in the ACORN pile, who must then check whether the names and addresses are real, and match records of someone actually living at that address.

There was a report on FoxNews last night about ACORN, where they showed an entire crate (usually used for recycling) full of what was labeled as “ACORN Duplicates”. Multiply that by the number of counties in swing states, and the fraud could be ENORMOUS.

It’s not really voter impersonation that’s the big worry, it’s the logistical nightmare of poll workers having to sift so many bogus registration forms that bona fide registrations can’t be processed in a timely manner. Which is a problem, but given the trend in party identification, especially among new voters, would seem to be more of a problem for Democrats than Republicans.

First, these registrations are skewing the polls which affects voter sentiment and dare I say, suppresses turnout.

Second, by overwhelming the system it’s a given that some, if not many, fraudulent registrations will slip through the cracks. As Ken Blackwell said, they only need one vote per precinct to win the state of Ohio.

Third, when the polls close in Democrat districts, the poll workers can start feeding some of those registrations in as actual votes. Who’s going to stop them? Is the RNC mobilizing experienced poll watchers to oversee the process?
