They act like this is a new thing. ACORN has been doing this forever, and getting caught; they were caught here in Washington state, the year “Chris” Gregoire magically produced enough votes to “defeat” Dino Rossi after multiple recounts.

Huh? Not that I’ve ever heard, besides why would McCain want help from ACORN since ACORN has already endorsed “THE ONE” (despite in news interviews ACORN touting they are bi-partisan)that and ACORN would probably just throw away any voter registrations they suspect would vote for McCain, e.g., any voter registration that the registrant declared themselves as a Republican!

Below is an excerpt from the article (Cloward and Priven Strategy) Kevin of Washington posted that I believe bolsters my claim that McCain wouldn’t pay ACORN to register voters for him, that in fact ACORN would probably destroy any voter registrations from registrants that declare they are Republican! Take a minute to read the entire article, it’s worth it:

ACORN’s voter rights tactics follow the Cloward-Piven Strategy:

1. Register as many Democrat voters as possible, legal or otherwise and help them vote, multiple times if possible.

2. Overwhelm the system with fraudulent registrations using multiple entries of the same name, names of deceased, random names from the phone book, even contrived names.

3. Make the system difficult to police by lobbying for minimal identification standards.

In this effort, ACORN sets up registration sites all over the country and has been frequently cited for turning in fraudulent registrations, as well as destroying republican applications.

A note to the lefty in-the-tank-for-Obama media: Voter fraud is voter fraud regardless if anyone does or does not vote using fraudulent registrations!

President O’Bama, flanked by House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, just signed the National Tax Credit Act which will provide tax increases to those who earn over $250,000 and up to $10,000 in refundable IRS checks to 10 million taxpayers that currently pay no taxes at all. ACORN, whose group was involved in controversial voter registration activities, was given a $3B contract to assist those in filling out the IRS forms for the credits. Afterwards, House member Barney Frank applauded the majorities of democrats in both houses in backing the legislation that forbids banks from foreclosing on any property for 1 year…..

Actually, if McCain didn’t have his own connections to ACORN we’d probably be able to push this harder.

And to be fair, it was McCain who didn’t want Obama’s middle name used, and it’s McCain who’s not making a bigger deal out of this. Plenty of conservatives are, just not him.
