McCain lives in Maricopa county which has become the murder capital of the South West as well as a site of gang warfare all do to illegals. This is one of those places that doesn’t believe in containing and deporting illegals. This is in the spirit of the McCain/Bush amnesty. His constituents locally and throughout Arizona probably love it.

McCain’s candidacy will be the first Presidential candidacy to be devastated by the McCain/Kennedy campaign finance law in spite of McCain’s efforts to get around the spirit of the law.

When I think of McCain, I think of amnesty, campaign law and frugality (which I applaud) as his signature issues. America will be living with these problems as well as Obama Deal long after McCain is planted in the ground.

I think it is quite likely that the ultra leftist Democrats will have the White House as well as Congress for as long as the Roosevelt/Truman New/Fair Deal era of twenty years.

Wrong, it is McCain’s lousy campaigning that makes it this close because the other side’s candidate is even worse. Even with the negatives, McCain should be lightyears ahead of a guy with as little experience as Obama. It is “this close” because McCain is the wrong candidate and voters are looking elsewhere with good cause. McCain has alienated his base and he will lose as a result. God Help America over the next four years because fools in the GOP leadership allowed a dog like McCain to get the nomination instead of a real Republican willing to stand up for American values.

Wouldn’t have been the first time someone died from an illegal’s reckless driving,

Plenty of innocent people are killed, maimed, or otherwise harmed by illegal aliens, some accidentally, and some intentionally. I’ve chronicled the myriad cases I have worked on in other entries on HotAir.

An illegal killed a U.S. Marine and his girlfriend in my area, and I worked part of that case. It was PREVENTABLE.

We are now searching for another illegal alien who is responsible for the death of an innocent woman.

Simply, these horrible deaths and injuries are 100% PREVENTABLE. Criminal acts are an equation:

MEANS + MOTIVE + OPPORTUNITY = CRIMINAL ACT

Take away any part and it fails to occur. Opportunity is being in the place of occurrence at the time. If the illegals weren’t in the country or were in jail, there would be no opportunity.

Car crashes like the one detailed in the link below require no motive, but still require opportunity.

The Supreme Court decided years ago that mere presence of an illegal alien in the United States is a crime in itself.

Pro-Illegal Alien = Pro-Crime Period.

McCain is running a good campaign, but it would have to be flawless to beat:

I passionately disagree. McCain’s campaign still lacks a focus. I don’t agree with Obama on virtually anything but there is an overriding theme. McCain and his minions flit from issue to issue with a quick and ambiguous statement before flitting off to some other issue. Obama is essentially winning because McCain is running an extremely lousy campaign.

Saban is a joke. How seriously can you take a guy when the dept he is chief over won’t endorse him. Sure, Sheriff Joe has an ego but considering all the crap he’s had to put up with nearly his entire time in office and still being able to come out on top, I’d say his ego is deserved.

Phoenix’s mayor Flash Gordon is clueless, and gutless, on the issue. All he wants is to get his light rail system up, running, and congesting traffic so he can claim he accomplished something in order to run for governor. Pathetic.
