I guess if Obombem was from California, where Hayden is an idol for his politics and being Hanoi Jane’s boy-toy, then they would have been the best of friends and Tom could have served as Obombem’s political career adviser.

The only thing all of these people have in common are they would rather ‘socialize’ your life than lead the country.

When you hear that Ayers is mainstream, consider the source.  And while we’re at it, how many more SDS radicals now work for Barack Obama?

Incidentally, we went out to An American Carol tonight. In Toronto, where it’s playing in 5 theatres (we got lucky that our local was one of the 5). About 10 people there but it’s thanksgiving this weekend and most of the other movies seemed to be similarly deserted.

Don’t recall seeing any of Zucker’s filmes before and it was funny in spots … but fairly contrived and it really looked made for an American audience.

Not a complete waste of time … the terrorists were the best part … and Paris H.

I agree. I gave my optimistic speech on a Plain abortion speech headline thread yesterday(gone, now?) along these lines:

Now that Gov. Palin has given a fantastic speech, both well-written and well delivered, on abortion and how Obama’s views (and votes!) are so far left, where is Sen. McCain’s similarly inspiring speech about fixing the problems with Democrat-supported trashing of sound mortgage lending rules, including naming names, as he promised a few days ago?

He needs to announce a simple 3 or 4 point PLAN, and explain simply why the Democrats are the problem, not the solution. I think I saw a story somewhere that he is working on an economic plan to announce. Hurry up, please.

Why did Daley close Meigs Field? Wikipedia doesn’t give any clues. Seems to imply it was just an exercise of power.
