Obama: Don’t let McCain “hoodwink” or “bamboozle” you

posted at 4:00 pm on October 11, 2008 by Allahpundit

Delivered, with exquisite nuance, within two minutes of congratulating Maverick for toning down the rhetoric yesterday in Minnesota and within a few hours of Rep. John Lewis comparing McCain to George Wallace, a smear for which the campaign is demanding an apology. In fact, Obama used this same rhetoric against the Clintons before the South Carolina primary and was called on it by the New Republic, among other lefty websites. TNR contributor Cinque Henderson:

His use of the phrase is resonant. It comes from a scene in Malcolm X, where Denzel Washington warns black people about the hidden evils of “the White Man” masquerading as a smiling politician: “Every election year, these politicians are sent up here to pacify us,” he says. “You’ve been hoodwinked. Bamboozled.”

By uttering this famous phrase, Obama told his black audience everything it needed to know. He was helping to convince blacks that the first two-term Democratic president in 50 years, a man referred to as the first black president, is in fact a secret racist. As soon as I heard that Obama had quoted from Malcolm X like this, I knew that Obama would win South Carolina by a massive margin.

It’s code, in other words, used by The One when he wants to accuse his opponents of racism but doesn’t want to do it so directly that he’ll be held accountable. I’ll let Jonathan Martin take it from there.

Almost forgot why I started to post…today finally…we through patience and loaded with facts about Obama and The New Party, ACORN, Ayers, Wright Rezko, Odinga, Al Mansoor, Khalidi, The caucus frauds in TX and other states, Berg, no experience to actually run on, anti life, anti military positions… and the fact that O doesn’t defend with facts or proof, just calls these things “distactions”… managed to convince my husband’s brother and two best friend who live in PA(who are practically being directed by their unions in PA to vote for O which required explaining that you can’t be in a union of you don’t have a job because higher taxes are job killers) Anyway, we convinced them that McCain is the right choice! They plan to spread the word to others… Thank you to anyone who has posted a link here about any of this stuff…it really really helps!

McCain thinks this scurrilous crypto-Marxist weasel is decent or honorable?

Wake up John, he’s reaming you in your polite coma.

Osama Obama disgusts me.

He needs to be destroyed politically, not just defeated in this election.

This country will not be safe as long as Obama and his band of traitors, felons, racists and terrorists are revealed to the general public as the anti-American lowlifes they are.

MrScribbler on October 12, 2008 at 12:07 AM

Just wait till he’s POTUS. You can kiss freedom goodbye and tyranny hello. It’ll be lib tyranny so the MSM will aid and abet him. AM radio will cease to exist. Only Rush and Sean are big enough to stick around.

You’ve put your finger on Exhibit A in the continuing power of the mainstream media, which didn’t seem to suffer all that much long-term damage from the Dan Rather fiasco. Imagine McCain spent 20 years in David Duke’s church, and was a protege of a prominent member of the John Birch society, and had strong ties to a vote-fraud operation under investigation in seven states. Any of those things would have blown him out of the race before it even got started. He’d have been hanging around the primary debates backstage, hoping to get Ron Paul’s autograph. But for Obama? No problem, and it’s deeply immoral, and probably should be illegal, for you to even raise questions about Ayers and Wright.

Part of the problem is just how bad these characters are. Wright is a clownish buffoon, easily airbrushed out of the picture when the public looks at the polished and urbane Obama. Ayers, on the other hand, is such a monster that most of the public would only believe how bad he is if the media reported on him more. If anyone manages to prove he ghost-wrote parts of Obama’s autobiography, more light might be shone on him. People should understand this cockroach has had more impact on their children’s education – even if they don’t live in Chicago – than any conservative alive.

The thing about the Obamanoids’ response to criticism of their candidate’s shady past that makes me angriest is the heavy whiff of totalitarianism that hangs around it. If John McCain had been pals with a Klansman for 20 years, it would be right and proper to ask questions about it. Obama has no resume, and the demands to ignore essentially every important connection in his life, prior to 2006, is tantamount to a demand for unquestioning obedience: “Vote for me because of my character and judgement, and don’t you dare question my character or judgement.”

“Harvard Student Attacks Racism At Core”

Obama cautions against placing too much into his election. “It’s crucial that people don’t see my election as somehow a symbol of progress in the broader sense, that we don’t point to a Barack Obama…and say, “things are hunky dory,” Obama said.

Once upon a time in 1990, Obama wasn’t promising anything, just asking for votes on the basis of racism in perpetuity. He believes in the power of racism to get elected, all else aside.

“his mother a white anthropologist from Kansas.”

AP qualified Obama’s mother as a professional anthropologist though she was a drop out. Then by AP Cambridge, Mass. standards, participating in mixed marriages qualifies Obama’s mom to be a professional anthropologist in contrast to her polygamous temporary husband, a Kenyan with degrees from Oxford & Harvard, followed by her subsequent bed-mates. So whoring qualifies as anthropology in Cambridge, Mass. Daily Herald.

Speaking of hoodwinked and bamboozled, check out some of these gems from Obama’s Tax Plan Scam:

A Universal 10% Mortgage Interest Tax Credit. Barack Obama will provide a 10% refundable credit to
offset mortgage interest payments and make homeownership more affordable for lower- and middle-income families. This universal credit will provide an average tax cut of $500 to 10 million homeowners who do not currently itemize.

Even if one were gullible enough to buy into his budget busting Marxist income redistribution scheme, is Barry really this out of touch? $500 a year = $41.66 a month. Woo Hoo! Sign me up! I’m ready to build my dream home.

Add this to the $500.00 a year he will generously redistribute to anyone making less than those greedy scum who make $250,001 a year, and I’ll be able to buy a shiny new Cadillac too!

Next:

Obama’s plan will cut taxes overall, reducing revenues to below the levels that prevailed under Ronald Reagan (less than 18.2 percent of GDP)

Huh? Is he saying he wants less money to come into the treasury? Taking inflation into account, that is one gigantic revenue loss. Great plan, Barry! I know, I know, it’s all in interest of “fairness”. Karl Marx sends you a Hi-Five, Cloward-Piven are dancing with glee, and this pledge from Obama will indeed come true:

I will cut tens of billions of dollars in wasteful spending. I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems. I will not weaponize space. I will slow our development of future combat systems

Yes, it’s just so sad that a black person can’t get any breaks in this racist country, right Obama? There’s just no way for a black person to get ahead with all the greedy white people keeping them down. No wonder Obama has spent his whole life allied with people who hate America. This country has denied him so many opportunities. Just think where he could be today if not for this racist society holding him back.

So what if he used Nation of Islam bodyguards when he first started running for POTUS..so what if he quotes Malcolm X and hangs around with Louis Farakhan.

Jeremiah(Whiteness is satanic)Wright told us he’s a Christian.

SaintOlaf on October 12, 2008 at 1:16 PM

Who cares that Louis Farakhan is going around proclaiming that Obama is the muslim messiah who will bring about the destruction of all the white devils in the world….this is just a distraction from the REAL issues…like how the U.S. is just going around air raiding villages and killing innocent muslims.

franksalterego on October 12, 2008 at 1:58 PM

Just my opinion, but Obama has done more to stir up racism in this country than the KKK and the Arians. I personally am getting tired of my friends, business acquaintances, and people I meet either treating me as a supposed member of the aforementioned societies or being ashamed of their skin pigmentation. Just when this country was for most parts being able to look at people as just people. What a mess, and it looks like it is just starting.

Look at it this way, guys. Juan Mcain is the worst thing to be representing anything associated with conservatism ( even though he is a merely Rino) and his defeat can be a good thing as long as we get out in front of the narrative. Obama is going to win and the hounds of liberal hell will be unleashed for all Americans to see. That wont sit well after the dust settles. Juan is a liberal, and you can’t out-liberal a marxist. Juan had a golden opportunity with standing firm on free-market principles, tax cuts, etc to oppose Bush/Obama/ Big gov crap sandwich and should have held a press conference on the steps of the senate , arm and arm with the House Republicans. He didn’t….what do we expect? Its the scorpion and the frog….it’s who juan is and his impulse is not in the conservative direction.
We have to make sure that the narrative is that only a true conservative can beat a liberal democrat, period. The Rinos are going to try and blame it on Gov Palin and the “rabid” conservative base. No. Palin, Jindal, Romney are our future and we need to have this fight in the Republican party. Obama will win. They will have full control, and the American people will see what they voted for. NOW IS THE TIME FOR CONSERVATIVES TO BE LOUDER, AND STRONGER. As Juan will go down in the fire, we will raise from the ashes and Juan, Mcgramnesty, et all will be gone. Keep your heads up. Palin/Romney/Jindal….2012…oh, and wouldn’t it be nice to have a hardhittting, articulate conservative for once? God Bless America

Jeremiah(Whiteness is satanic)Wright told us he’s a Christian.

SaintOlaf on October 12, 2008 at 1:16 PM

Wright also told us a couple of other things (and these happened to actually be true!):

–he said Obama is just a lying POS politician who’ll say anything to get elected; and

–he said that the word “Christian” doesn’t mean the same thing to him (and other members of his “church” like the Obamas) as it does to most people. (How many Americans would want to worship at Obama and Wright’s “Christian” church if they knew that the church members pledge their allegiance to the “motherland” of Africa; believe that God is on the side of blacks and against whites; and also believe that if God doesn’t take the side of blacks in any dispute, then God should be killed?)
