Re: The Hockey drop: Rough Philly sports fans and the protests outside the pub during debate one were exactly my prime concerns when I heard she was going to do this. I pray she'll do okay. (BTW, this could work for her. Anyone wanna see Obama strap on skates in a public arena? It'll probably look about as Dukakisian as his bowling or his bike ride...)

Second, I have refrained from commenting about Sarah Palin's looks here, but the picture on the Politico article is one of the most charming candids I've seen of her. She's the real deal.

I still trust Zogby above all others. He has the race in a dead heat and said it looks exactly like the Reagan/Carter election until Reagan pulled ahead 3 days before the vote.

Zogby appears to be the most un-biased of all the pollsters.

One thing about Palin, she can help raise money.

If McCain had picked Romney instead of Palin and then ended up behind 3 weeks before the election, people would be saying If only McCain had the balls to pick Palin instead of that cold fish Romney!

lorien:

Just yesterday in Wisconsin McCain did name names. Honestly, there is just no pleasing some people.

First people complained that he did not talk about FM and then when he did they complain about how he talked about it.

I don't trust polls, especially from the Obama media shills! Case-in-point the latest Newsweek poll showing Obama up 11% is heavily weighted toward likely democratic voters by...30%!!

Here are Newsweeks demographic stats for that poll:

SAMPLE SIZE/MARGIN OF ERROR FOR REGISTERED VOTERS SUBGROUPS:

1,035 Registered voters (plus or minus 4)
280 Republicans (plus or minus 7)
402 Democrats (plus or minus 6)
325 Independents (plus or minus 7)
839 White (plus or minus 4)
175 Non-White (plus or minus 9)
491 Men (plus or minus 5)
544 Women (plus or minus 5)
126 18-34 (plus or minus 10)
159 35-44 (plus or minus 9)
434 45-64 (plus or minus 6)
283 65+ (plus or minus 7)
247 White Evangelicals (plus or minus 8)
191 White Catholics (plus or minus 8)
401 Other whites (plus or minus 6)
230 Hillary Clinton supporters (plus or minus 8)

In addition to sampling error, the practical difficulties of conducting surveys can also introduce error or bias to poll results.

These polls are obviously an Obama campaign and complicit media tactic to discourage us from voting if they can convince us it is futile and McCain can never overcome Obama's lead!

Don't let them BS you, be sure to get out there and vote because it ain't over 'till it's over!

Moral bankruptcy

BDS?

Moral relativity?

Cynicism is at the core of a persons willingness to give anyone a pass on associating with a terrorists. Their values inform their actions.

Don’t dismiss all of the PUMA’s for Hil out there.
Not many of those are vocal.
The ‘Hillary affect’ could closely challenge the ‘Bradley’ one ???

There's an interesting thread at Ace of Spades where he asks PUMAs for their input. Comments are worth reading. Such as this one:

(excerpted) I'm a 25 year old college grad female working in a non profit and residing in a blue state. Here's a hint I've always voted for Lieberman. This is about stopping OBama and for me getting HRC on the ballot in 2012. You don't have to think we matter that's fine, but if you want to gain more HRC supporters you have to buck up.

I honestly don't see how Obama's longtime association with Ayers doesn't turn the stomach of any normal American. I can only come up with two reasons why:

1. The media is completely covering for Barry
2. The typical American simply isn't very patriotic

We all know #1 is happening bigtime. I will be truly afraid if I'm right about #2.

Slightly O/T, but I would really love for some 527 to start putting out ads ripping the MSM to shreds over their egregious bias. Winning elections and getting the message out will never get any easier unless we can blow up the current media and get fairer coverage.

McCain needs to talk about the economy.

So, you agree that McCain should continue to do what he has been doing since the debate?

Good for you.

I think McCain should have let Palin do the attacks on Ayers. He should have been attacking the ACORN/ FM/FM democrat ties to Obama.
Of course he also should have voted no on the bailout to separate himself from the Democrats.

My exit question: How can anyone think any member of congress knows what they are doing?

I've watched what they do and I think they know what they're doing: they're selling off America to the highest bidder.

Does anyone think libtards are going to smear Sarah Palin any less if she runs in 2012? Her son won’t be any less Downs Syndromey, so they will keep saying shes a bad mother unless she locks herself in her house and devotes herself to watching him every second of her life.

Yes, but if she runs in 12 she won't have to tow McCain's line. She'll be free to go on the attack and be the Barracuda she is.

Only 32% in a FOX POLL say Ayers is a negative? If that is the case, Ayers is truly a non-issue.

If voters don't care that Obama shares a similar ideology with a domestic terrorist who regrets not killing more Americans, it also means this election is over.

I wonder if the poll asked the same people if they even know who Ayers is?

I heard early on that a bad economy hurts McCain but a horrific economy helps him because of what you state above. But as yet, only half of that prediction is working. Sob.

Sorry, but Obama is playing it smart by staying silent on the eocnomy...

McCain and the Bush Admin are going whole Hog Socialist... which will turn a lot of Moderates, and Conservatives, off...

Bambi says nothing, even though he IS a Socialist...

Its a win for Bambi UNLESS McCain can get the MEDIA to start asking Barry for specifics on his plan...
