Video: The RNC’s got a fee-vah and the only prescription is more Ayers

From David Frum’s lips to the ad team’s ears. Maybe I’m just Ayers-ed out, but between this and McCain insisting that the real problem isn’t Obama associating with a piece-of-shinola terrorist so much as lying about it, I’m not sure what the crux of the complaint is anymore. Is it that The One is a dangerous socialist radical masquerading as a run-of-the-mill Chicago machine politician? Or is it that he is a run-of-the-mill Chicago machine politician with all the graft and cretinous hangers-on pertaining thereto? Or is it just that he’s a liar?
Speaking of which, the latest from Obama on Ayers: “I assumed that he had been rehabilitated.” Really? Even after the NYT interview published on 9/11 in which he said he was sorry he hadn’t done more as a Weatherman? That’s highly nuanced indeed, given that they were still in touch three years later.
Exit question: Are you really a “Fmr. Terrorist” if you’ve never repented?

Um, actually I didn’t. I left your words intact and changed the name to Al Franken, author of “Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot.” And uh, oh, er, what were your words?
I’m sorry. You’re as sharp as a basketball. I forgot. Wit rolls off you like water.
MadisonConservative on October 9, 2008 at 10:57 PM
Exit question
What after knowing all these associations people still don’t care and electg this idiot president?
What happens if there really is massive voter fraud and we lose Ohio or Va because of it ?
What exactly do we/Mccain do in response.
What exactly was the point of winning the cold war only to eventually lose our country to the same characters via the vote(fraudlent or otherwise)?
I think of that late great dead marxist who said ‘we will take over America without firing a shot’ or words to that affect.
kangjie on October 9, 2008 at 10:57 PM
Ironically those who want Rush to burn in hell over prescription drugs are often the same that want to legalize illegal drugs. maybe they can start a petition to jail Brett Favre too.
Spirit of 1776 on October 9, 2008 at 10:57 PM
Look at where I live. If you’re none of the above they take you in, tie you to a chair, and make you listen to Air America 24 hours a day.
I COULDN’T DO IT, MAN! I JUST COULDN’T TAKE IT!!!
MadisonConservative on October 9, 2008 at 10:58 PM
No harm. We’re agreed.
And you say this as… someone who has had a spine injury as severe as his, and been through the pain and torment of it, got dependent on painkillers as a result, and in the end praises rehab as the best weeks of your life… right?
RushBaby on October 9, 2008 at 10:58 PM
Actually, I’m a man. You know, the thing you wish you were?
MadisonConservative on October 9, 2008 at 10:59 PM
Nothing to get over. He’ll fall off the wagon. Big time drug abusers like him always do. And when he does,I’ll have a big laugh at you and the other sycophants. You’ll be his prison groupies. They’re called scumpals for good reason.
Blake on October 9, 2008 at 10:59 PM
Behind every little problem there’s a larger problem, waiting for the little problem to get out of the way.
Murphy9 on October 9, 2008 at 10:59 PM
Well, he deserves it, but not for drugs. After that whole retirement/unretirement debacle…come on, there’s gotta be some punishment for that.
MadisonConservative on October 9, 2008 at 11:00 PM
A sex change operation and a latex penis does not make you a man. Sorry.
Blake on October 9, 2008 at 11:00 PM
What is wrong with you tonight, Blake? You usually post great comments.
RushBaby on October 9, 2008 at 11:01 PM
Easy there…sounds too much like the typical “you’re a hypocrite if you voted for Republicans but didn’t enlist” liberal pigeonholing.
However, I agree. Then again, this is Blake. They don’t come much more hostile than he-she.
MadisonConservative on October 9, 2008 at 11:02 PM
Oh, yeah, the old spine injury ruse. lol! Enabler.
Blake on October 9, 2008 at 11:02 PM
He is punished. He’s playing in NY after playing on a contender. With Favre the Packers had a legit shot at SB this year. Again.
Spirit of 1776 on October 9, 2008 at 11:02 PM
Wow. Someone (Blake) needs prescription strength narcotics.

Examine your own behavior. Chasing around the woman and calling her insulting names and then dragging her kid in it?What the hell is wrong with you? And then you get mad when I ask you to stop it and then you try to play some stupid game and pretending you weren’t slagging her? Really, what the hell is wrong with you?
Blake on October 9, 2008 at 11:04 PM
Nah. Punishment would be reviving the XFL and making him be the head commentator.
MadisonConservative on October 9, 2008 at 11:04 PM
When did this thread go so incredibly bad?
I have gas now. I think it’s Madison’s fault. DAMN WISCONSINITES! (shakes fist)

Sage advice. You should try it.

There’s alreay a club….
…Online Racists for Immoral Wars and Foreign Adventures….
…technically, the abbreviation is ORIWFA, but we pronounce it “bite me”….
…we’re really well organized….
…we have bowling shirts and satin jackets with the logo on it…beer stains embroidered on the front….
…we get together quarterly to drive SUVs, use throw aluminum cans into the non-recyclable garbage, listen to Larry the Cable Guy CDs and wait for the bullsh*t to roll in….
…this month’s meeting, we plan to get drunk, take off all our clothes, turn off all the lights…and try to find our carbon footprints….
…the only membership requirement is that you have to have been called a racist once in a blog…any blog…we get most of our membership from KOS….
…calling yourself counts…we’re in it for the dues, anyway….
…so, the medal and certificate are indeed official…I’m just still having trouble trying to attach ‘em to an email….
…I’ll try duct tape….
Puritan1648 on October 9, 2008 at 11:08 PM
C’mon. Admit it. You missed me.

…but, if you find any lumps, consult a physician….
Puritan1648 on October 9, 2008 at 11:10 PM
Wow, didn’t know about this club. I got called a racist LAST YEAR during the whole illegal immigration debacle. Why wasn’t I initiated then? I want my satin jacket and free beer.
HornetSting on October 9, 2008 at 11:10 PM
I see. It’s a chivalry thing for you. Well, hang around a bit more and you’ll see that the woman simultaneously hides her husband under her skirts and uses him as a shield against challenges to her steady attacks on Conservatives such as Mark Steyn, Rush Limbaugh, and Mark Levin. Oh yes, Talk Radio does piss her off. She produced a new shield tonight. She used her own kid as an escape hatch. I never attacked her kid, and if you say I did, you’re a liar.

The fact that they served together in two relatively small organizations, worked on multiple grant projects, and Obama’s political career was launched in Ayers’ and Dohrn’s home isn’t enough for you? You need a picture? Honestly?

Finally! Oslime-a et al act like the boards he sat in on were the only ones in Chicago! It has been baffling me for weeks why this tact isn’t the one that is seized upon.
Good for you!

You bring up great questions and points. What to do? The proper decision in Bush v. Gore so infuriated the left and we (conservatives) scoffed at their inane argument that something sacred was stolen from them. While I believe the voting system is still intact, how much this “voter fraud” has an impact in November is still to be seen. If all the polls and this unknown factor ends up with McCain/Palin still elected, I can only imagine the outrage from our dear friends on the left, but at this point we can’t do anything about Acorn (even if they have corrupted the system) until after the election.
Bill Ayers, Barack Obama and Acorn are a symptom of an ideology that threatens free market capitalism, a system that’s in the tank at the moment. It allows the liberal mentality of socialism to flourish/infect reality. Reagan was behind at this time in 1980 by double digits. Hope floats.

MadisonConservative on October 9, 2008 at 11:25 PM
the McCain campaign is becoming a bad joke. Instead of hitting BO from all sides they keep picking one item and tapping on it until everyone is just annoyed at the message NOT the issue.
Sure Point out Ayers. But point out the campaign funding issues too. Bring up his support for ending free union elections. Bring up ACORN stealing the election. Bring up his connections with the Chicago Machine. His non-record.
Next time Obama says these are just distraction, challenge him on it. Ask point blank, if character and real reform are just distractions, then what was all that Hope and Change stuff he was spouting during the primaries about? What has he done to show people this is what is is about? Has he taken on the teachers in IL when he had teh cahnce? NO. Has he sponsored any controversial ethics packages while in the senate? NO.
What has he done but repeat tired rhetoric from a man, Axelrod, who bragged about idea of selling a vision of selling real accomplishment.
The media is not going to provide anything remotely challenging for the Dems to worry about. The sooner the GOP realize that the Dems and Media are working to sell a myth, the sooner they can start poking holes in it. BO keeps repeating the same tired lines with new dressing. Next time it happens, and it will, call him a liar and tell people why. Say you had hoped that the media would do its job of reporting instead of covering up but someone has to tell the truth.

What’s the world coming to when you can convict a guy for calling a terrorist, an um, terrorist. I’m confident they will convict him for his homophobic anti-Semitic views. I see here with my super-secret decoder ring, that his charged phrase “yosemite sam” really means “no semite men” as lovers. So you know, hopefully they can nail him down for that or other various thought crimes.
Though I should add, if they are going to convict people of thought crimes, someone should take another look at Obama’s poetry. Putting that to paper, well, that should be a crime.

MC’s lumps are his business. lol
My response was to the folks who are getting all worked up because McCain isn’t doing it their way. If you go back three weeks or so, the ground work for what they are doing now was being laid out. Just as what they are doing now is laying the ground work for next week. And so on until election day.
A calm hand on the tiller is what is needed.
