I’m sure this is different in different regions, but where I grew up, “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” wasn’t ever used as a positive comparison, that I recall.

More like lamenting how bad seeds yield bad fruit.

BTW: Have you noticed that there are mostly older supporters behind Obama lately? I think a lot of the kiddies have gone home and back to school. They are disallusioned, poor babies. When Obama picked Biden instead of Oprah, the Utopia bubble burst. “Likely voter” polls anyone?

This guy confirms every day what I think about him. He is a high-functioning moron…. If they rise to the point where they are actually in charge of anything they screw it up, but they always blame others or say they were “set up to fail.”

Barack Obama is what Ayn Rand used to call a ’sincere subjectivist.’ I don’t know how well he could do on a standardized test – none of us do. But that doesn’t really matter. The important thing is that he expresses absolutely no capacity for dealing with a reality that doesn’t care how he feels.

Did you see the O’Reily interview? Obama said he would stop Iran from getting and using nuclear weapons through “diplomacy.” O’Reily asked, several times, “Well, OK, but what if the genocidal terrorists who run that country decide to ignore your ‘diplomacy’?”

Obama just kept saying over and over again: “That’s unacceptable… That’s unacceptable… That’s unacceptable…”

For all practical purposes, this man has the mind of a child. This country has survived a lot worse than John McCain, but the liberals (against all odds) are actually right about one thing: we have never had a President like Barack Obama before. In choosing him as a leader, American liberalism has reached its logical conclusion – and nothing good can possibly come of that.

So, Justice Clarence Thomas lacked “exp…”, he can’t take our guns “even if [he] want[s] to,” and he has a “Muslim faith” (corrected by the interviewer). And now, “an acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree”.

I believe we may owe an apology to Joe Biden. Though I will give Hussein one thing: His gaffes at least give some insight into the dude’s heart and mind. Biden’s are just dumb.
