Black Congressmen Declare Racism In Palin’s Rhetoric
Then it must be so.

If Barack Obama has not made me puke over his hypocrisy,

it is only a matter of time.

The “that one” crap is just the latest symptom of the hyper-sensitive race-baiting losers on BO’s side.

That is so gross. Keep it up…you can’t win for losing.

I’m a Dem and a socialist. But none of that matters when I get a chance to keep a good black man down.

Here’s racism: the only reason the young pup with no accomplishments is leading in the polls is because he’s Black.
If he was White, he’d still be a community agitator.

jgapinoy on October 8, 2008 at 10:45 PM

Let the Dems keep playing the race card.

Let’s see how well that sits with the bitter gun and bible clingers.

If Barack were not African-American, he wouldn’t have gotten out of the primaries. We’d still all be riding the Stop Hillary Express.

“They are trying to throw out these codes,” said Representative Gregory Meeks, a Democrat from New York.

“He’s ‘not one of us?’” Mr. Meeks said, referring to a comment Sarah Palin made at a campaign rally on Oct. 6 in Florida. “That’s racial. That’s fear. They know they can’t win on the issues, so the last resort they have is race and fear.”

“Racism is alive and well in this country, and McCain and Palin are trying to appeal to that and it’s unfortunate,” said Representative Ed Towns, also from New York.

Hey Meeks and Towns, you two are the racist. You are the ones injecting race into this election as a distraction from the issues. You are doing the very thing you are accusing Republicans of. This is also a commie tactic, so not only are you both racist, you are also Communist. Ha… take that.

It appears that under the present standards any time a black man or woman runs for office they must be allowed to win by default. Some kind of democracy the left wants.

jgapinoy on October 8, 2008 at 10:45 PM

No. If he were white, by now a guy like him would have realized what a disadvantage he was in trying to rise in that milieu, and he’d probably be an embittered conservative by now.

CK MacLeod on October 8, 2008 at 10:54 PM

Why are African Americans not considered racists when they overwhelmingly vote over 95% for Obama?
Yet, Caucasians, Latinos, or Asians who won’t vote for Obama because of his socialist policies is considered racist?
There are African Americans who won’t vote for Obama, but are considered traitors to their race.
I am tired of these double standards and how Obama is using the race card and the democRATS are marginalizing people.
This is going to bite the democRATS in the ass.

jencab on October 8, 2008 at 10:54 PM

If Barack were not African-American, he wouldn’t have gotten out of the primaries.

Exactly, Grafted. He looks good (to some people, I dont see it at all) and he smiles. And he reads the prompter. He’s a black John Edwards. And because he’s dad is from Kenya and he’s half black and not as outwardly idiotic as Jesse Jackson, he’s more accepted by people who are desperate to show that they aren’t racist by being racist in picking the half black candidate. And then calling others racist because people fail to worship him as they do.

It is obviously quite disgusting. The only reason he’s at this point in his career is because the young Barack Obama used a lawyerly tactic to remove all of his democrat rivals by challenging the petitions over the wishes of the people of illinois and were prevented from voting for anyone else but him in the illinois senate democrat primary, voted present 130 times, and then gave a speech in front of other democrats, faced a loon republican challenger and won the state senate seat from illinois when he waited just over a year to decide to run for president. Based on more hollow speeches and smiling from within his empty suit of vote for me, I’ll bring change.

Why are African Americans not considered racists when they overwhelmingly vote over 95% for Obama?

Let’s pull out the 95% white vote for Mccain then.

That will work great for us especially in a 85% white country like this.

We need to stop Obama NOW!

We have to rightfully pin this economic disaster on the dems and FAST!

We can’t have people look at their empty 401k’s and vote Obama..if he wins we’re not talking about a bad president…we’re talking end of the world bad.

Yup, fred5678. Jeri Ryan.

And another trivial pursuit ‘what if’ as well:

When Hillary Clinton decided to run for US senate after leaving the whitehouse, she decided on New York. Not because she lived there, but she wanted to get elected. She didn’t run from Arkansas, where she had lived, or Illnois, where she was born. If she did run for senator from Illinois, Barack Obama would have stayed in the Illinois senate today.

Post Turtle

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old farmer, whose hand was caught in a gate while working on his farm, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old cowboy.

Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his bid to be our president.
The old rancher said “Well, ya know, Obama is a ‘Post Turtle’”
Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a “Post Turtle” was. The old rancher said,
“When you are driving down a country road and you see a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that’s a post turtle.”

The old rancher saw the puzzled look on the doctor’s face, so he explained. Ya know he didn’t get up there by himself, he doesn’t belong there, he doesn’t know what to do while he’s up there and ya just got to wonder what kind of a dumb ass put him up there to begin with!

cryptojunkie on October 8, 2008 at 11:09 PM

Just because the MSM is giving Obama a pass on the facts is no good reason McCain/Palin should. I believe the truth/facts need to be vetted on Obamas past and yes they are relevant. The funny thing is these newly outspoken critics of the republican rhetoric seem to be the same core people who blocked the republican efforts to reign in Fannie/Freddie six years ago!

We have to go on judging people by the content of their character, and hoping the liberals will eventually learn to do the same. Sadly, it’s taking an awfully long time for them to get unstuck from the past, but they have made it to the 60’s.

I apologize for the rather alarming headline.

That’s Joe Biden’s claim, though. Not mine.

Ann Curry, “journalist.” “Ugly” tactic.

Joe Biden: “Dangerous incitement.”

Joe, for eight years your party has called Bush a fascist murderer who would likely cancel the 2008 elections, end the American experiment with democracy, and establish a presidency for life.

A leftist contingent sympathetic to the Democratic Party — New Party types, actually — has blared for five years that George Bush actually knowingly murdered 3000 Americans on 9/11 to get the nation into a war fever so he could build a trans-Caspian pipe.

The race card apparently isn’t working any more, so they are going to up the ante. Any speech criticizing The One is now an incitement to violence.

All that crap about Bush was fringe fantasia, political pornography. Which the Democrats encouraged by silence when they weren’t expressly encouraging it by words.

And now you’re claiming that it’s too dangerous to point out Obama’s true long-time association with a terrorist because it’s “dangerous’?

All McCain has to do is meet the charge of racism straight-forwardly and be on the offense about it. And he needs to do it without the anger that the baseless charge automatically brings. (That’s why it’s so effective.)

Something like: “Is that going to be your response every time you or one of your policies is criticized? Because you know and I know that crying ‘racism’ about everything is merely a handy tactic to deflect criticism.” Then Mc Cain can flash that little evil white man grin of his. ;-)

Seriously, he needs to man-up about this. The Race Card is going to be played anyway, so why not use it to make Obama look too weak to be president?

baldilocks on October 9, 2008 at 12:51 AM

Bah…the only reason their playing the race card so hard now is because their afraid that McCain has found Barry’s weak spot. I say keep twisting his arm with Ayres until he squeals like the bitch that he is. Either way it provides the Dems with a ready made excuse if they lose “the only reason we lost is because America is an inherently racist nation”.

He’s going to be called a racist no matter whether he criticizes Obama on these valid character issues or not. So he might as well forcefully criticize him.

The fact that people are so quick to use the Race Card proves they have no legitimate reply to the criticism. The more they squeal, the closer to home it gets.

Everybody knew the racism card was going to be played the minute he won the nomination. They knew it, and we knew it. I don’t think anyone on either side is surprised.

By the way, would someone write a piece entitled “Obama and his leftist media pals wage a negative campaign against McCain/Palin?” Or some such. HOCKEY IS RACIST!

cannonball on October 9, 2008 at 3:44 AM

A fair piece by Martin, although it’s too bad he can’t bring himself to admit where the strongest boost of the racist meme originates, i.e. the Obama campaign itself.

It’s nothing new, really — the race card has been driving our educational, social and economic policies for years, twisting and mutating civil rights to achieve the ultimate goal of income redistribution. The terms “poor” and “low-income” have become euphemisms for minorities. The left uses them to push their agenda, making sure they stay poor, angry, militant and blameful of everyone but themselves. And the right capitulates, shrinking from the threat of being labeled “racist.”

And now it’s brought us to the brink of economic disaster, since the absurd idea that “poor people” are entitled to buy houses they can’t afford metastasized to wholesale greed, irresponsibility and outright theft from DC to Wall Street to Main Street. But no one, except perhaps Palin, briefly, dares to mention the idea of “personal responsibility” among buyers.

A whole lot of people need to “man up,” and find some political courage, Baldilocks, before there’s any improvement — until then, it looks like we’ll be passing through some very painful times, with a very dim light at the end of the tunnel.

Nichevo on October 9, 2008 at 4:30 AM

Two things.

One, Dems in my area are on this “one heart beat away” kick and that MCcain wont live through a term due to his age and him coming over frail etc.

Two, I am thinking as time goes on Obama is losing ground, but is he losing it fast enough? Things like voter fraud are scary to normal caring folks, but the blood suckers of the country don’t give a damn and are just sorry they got caught, and while waving a white flag on it with one hand, are cracking the seal on another box of fake ballots with the other.

I am not seeing enough on the networks. The liberal media is locking down on conservative coverage just becasue they are in the position to do it. The undecided and independents are the key here and I’m sure its obvious we need to be doing more to gain votes there. As I say, time is of the essence.

They vote 90% Democrat anyway. So at most you can say 5% of blacks are voting solely based on race.

crr6 on October 9, 2008 at 6:00 AM

Once again, baldilocks, you have gotten to the crux of the matter succinctly. It is offensive to me to see the questioning of a candidate’s past associations conflated with racism, but it is a given in this election, so why not make the most of it? Highlight the deflection, and then hammer home the obvious dishonesty and weakness inherent in this tactic and question what about his past makes the Dem’s so defensive.

I believe that Senator McCain harbors no ill feelings towards Senator Obama related to his race. I do believe that Senator McCain believes (as I do) that Senator Obama is unfit to serve in the Senate, let alone be President of the United States. It appears to me that his behavior towards Senator Obama is clear distaste and a strong personal dislike.

I will not be voting for Obama for the same reason I did not vote for Kerry.

Pansy ass little socialist.

This kind of whining from the One is not exactly manly now is it? It would seem to me that if he was so far ahead it would not be necessary for Obama to be so defensive and whiny.

Oh yeah, he will unify the country all right.

Terrye on October 9, 2008 at 7:11 AM

Let’s see if I’ve got this straight. I’m a racist if I question Barack Hussein Obamas association with ACORN, I’m a racist if I question Barack Hussein Obamas motives, I’m a racist if I question Barack Hussein Obamas lack of experience, I’m a racist if I question Barack Hussein Obamas lack of support of America’s Heroes, I’m a racist if I don’t vote for the most unqualified person to run for POTUS in my lifetime, and I’m a racist if I mention his full name.

Hot damn! I Want To Be A Racist! Do I have to sign up to officially be a rascist?

DannoJyd on October 9, 2008 at 7:22 AM

We knew that one would play the race card. What else do you do when you’re not like all of the other Presidents, save Carter.

I’ve always like Harold Ford Jr. If the rest of the Democrat Party were more like the DLC, the country would be a lot better off.

BadgerHawk on October 8, 2008 at 11:13 PM

I’ve got to think the DLC and the Blue Dogs realize their own situation is going to be pretty complicated the next few years. Quite a tightrope they’re on.

Al From will no doubt rush to embrace Obama as a New Democrat, since he does that to anyone popular anyway, no matter their brand of Democrat politics.

DrSteve on October 9, 2008 at 8:14 AM

If Obama were white he would’ve gotten fewer votes than Biden in the primaries. In fact, you could’ve crammed all his supporters into Katie’s restaurant.

That would make me a lifelong bigot, as I have always had an absolute in tolerance for anything that is not right and proper.

“If McCain’s attacks don’t cross the line, they’re certainly teetering on it.”

These people should read the story of the little boy who cried wolf.

The more the left cries “Racism!” the more that word loses its impact. Eventually, people will just ignore the term when there is a real issue of racism.

Speaking of racism, at Arizona State admissions preferences favor blacks over whites is 1,115 to 1 at ASU and 250 to 1 at UofA.

Hopefully the burst into Hawaii’s records will shed some light on Mr. B.O.’s past.
How can anyone possibly vote for someone we know nothing about and who is so secretive? Oh and give him the keys to our nukes? uh… I don’t think so.

Mr. B.O., the more I see of him, looks to me to be a suit with a mouth with a tape player in the pocket saying the same shallow crap every time he talks.
