Someone please tell me again how all the media outlets, even on the interwebs, are not trying their hardest to shape and form and influence how we vote, how we live, how we see and perceive things. I need some reassurance.

My favorite character too; the guy was terrific – but not a bad job on Barney Frank either. Best line of the skit.

Have been wondering how Pres. Bush feels about having his “affable doormat” image lampooned.

Yes, thanks for that link. I was looking for this in the torrents and had the entire SNL episode ready for download. I’d much rather download this skit so I can hurry up and get it out to others.

Bit torrent isn’t for everyone, but it is a lot easier than you think. You’ll need a good client link uTorrent or Azureus, but it is real easy to set up. The torrent has a very healthy swarm of seeders right now, ready to distribute the file. Once widely distributed, it isn’t coming down.

Also, the file is small enough to fit throught most email gateways. I’m not suggesting you spam everyone in your address book with it (please, don’t do that)… but you can email it to your parents and a few close friends, probably.

After you download it, upload it to YouTube. Be sure to change the filename to something newsy and innocuous. Do not use any keywords that will flag it, such as SKIT, SNL, etc.

That’s funny, YouTube yanked it due to “copyright claim by NBC Universal”… but ALL the other NBC Universal SNL skit clips where Tina Fey is ripping on Palin are all still there. So are all the SNL clips where McCain is being bashed, Bush, Cheney, etc etc.

I think only a true believer conservative would make this (all too true) criticism of Bush. That is, in a sea of complaints about Bush from the Left, this was a complaint that one only hears from Bush’s conservative critics.
