Video: Lil’ O’Reilly

Enough people missed it yesterday in Headlines and have since e-mailed to request it that we might as well toss it out there. The debate rages: Hideous political exploitation of a child (not the first time that’s happened to O’R) or comedy gold? I don’t remember him ever being this vicious towards gays, but they’re going for style here, not substance, and after last night’s meltdown with Frank they’re benefiting from good timing. Verdict: Funny, but mainly because of the hair. And the “hurricanes” line, of course.

You are just riding my nuts. Make room;

The Gay guy that lives in the next building told me he found this statement offensive.

Furthermore, the lesbians that live next door find this statement to be stereotypical and offensive:

it’s Friday night. Leave some room for the Glamorous Ladies of Wrestling.

The Race Card on October 3, 2008 at 9:13 PM

Friend,

Those so called “Glamorous Ladies of Wrestling” are not, in fact, female.

Sorry for your poor luck.

Those so called “Glamorous Ladies of Wrestling” are not, in fact, female. – leetpriest on October 3, 2008 at 11:07 PM

WHOA…those bulbous breasts and feminine hips sure fooled me. Thanks for the heads-up.

ManlyRash on October 3, 2008 at 11:12 PM

What’s the deal with the gays? I’ve heard B.O. repeatedly defend gays.
Log on October 3, 2008 at 8:16 PM

That’s why I don’t think it’s funny because it’s more of an ignorant left-wing smear than satire. And I don’t like O’Reilly that much (except for about 10 minutes last night)
CanadianGuy on October 3, 2008 at 8:21 PM

Of course he’s never said anything like that. This is a caricature of a caricature. Look a the other video on the youtube page from the same user: “Spike Feresten hits attends a war protest disguised as a Fox News reporter. He doesn’t make friends.” Let’s smear O’Reilly, the moose killing Sarah Palin and Fox news field reporters and laugh at it all.

Wonderful.

wise_man on October 3, 2008 at 11:23 PM

stupid. A lefty’s mindfart.

unseen on October 3, 2008 at 11:24 PM

Not sure how you can manage that with your head so far up your ass.

ManlyRash on October 3, 2008 at 10:46 PM

I do it the same way you do it dipshit. Oh sorry I mean manly rash.
And why are you talking about my ass? Are you cruising the hot air comment board for dates or something.

Now THAT’S some funny shizzle.

madmonkphotog on October 3, 2008 at 11:55 PM

Okay, it was pretty funny. However, O’Reilly is pro gay and pro-greeny so I don’t think he’d be making fun of queers in electric cars. Now, pedophiles and oil companies are a different subject . . .

Guess he really ticked off the Barney Frank lovers, eh?

Special K on October 4, 2008 at 12:07 AM

Talk to us: how big was the crowd? Was the theatre packed? What was the response? Did everyone like it?

ManlyRash on October 3, 2008 at 9:46 PM

The theater was about half full for the 6:40 PM show I saw here in Omaha. More than a few even cheered and applauded at the end. Overall it was enjoyable. The chuckle moments far outnumbered the LOL moments but it was still fun. Nothing I’ll go see twice but I don’t regret seeing.

Draco Malfoy?

I didn’t think it was all that funny, even though they tried here and there. More like amateur-SNL swipes….

Start at 2:15 of this clip and “enjoy” /sarc

…at least they provided the contact info…

Lockstein13 on October 4, 2008 at 6:25 AM

This video is hideous political exploitation and indoctrination of an innocent and malleable child, which borders on child abuse. The video is disturbing and creepy.

sinsing on October 4, 2008 at 6:29 AM

Well, the guy that posted it is decidedly left wing. Whether you think he is funny or not, he is a nutroot.

Hawthorne on October 4, 2008 at 6:48 AM

I know a very easy way to alter the thinking of the media from the current ultra liberal mindset to something a bit more conservative. Do what they ask…. they want to tax the rich, then let’s follow their lead and set the top tax rate to match what is was during the last year in office of either of their two heros:

1945 – FDR 94% of income over $200,000
1963 – Kennedy 91% of income over $400,000

Take Mr. Olbermann’s contract estimated at $4,000,000/year

Now: 35% of income over $311,950 leaves somewhat under $2,700,000 net
FDR: 94% of income over $200,000 leaves somewhat under $400,000
Kennedy: 91% of income over $400,000 leaves somewhat under $724,000

A couple years of those rates would put a ton of cash in the federal coffers and maybe win over a few “hearts and minds” in the media.

When I was 13 (1962), I got my first real job at the ripe old age of 13. In prior years, I had worked summers on farms owned by two uncles for $5 a week spending money. Waaaay back then, you didn’t have a social security number at that age. Since I was a “junior”, I used by father’s SSN for the paperwork for my first jobs working evenings at a grocery store and weekends at an early version of a fast food place. In both cases, I lied about my age. I think I made somewhere around a buck an hour at each job and I thought it was all the money in the world. I remember picking up a tax package (even though I never filed… yep, I’m a tax cheat) and reading it and I wondered why in the world anyone would work to only get 9 cents of every extra dollar they earned.

Overall the skit was pure, unadulterated BullS&#t!

Of course it appears to be based on the way leftist, loony, tin foil hat wearing moonbats think, talk, and behave, and clearly not on anything that Bill O’Reilly has said, done, or on how he behaves.

O’Reilly has occasionally exhibited some heat during his interviews, but for the most part O’Reilly is quite respectful and civil. I’ve often found that he gives many outrageous, factless, disrespectful, hate filled nuts a great deal of slack, and taking quite a bit of disrespect and rudeness from many guests, so the characterization in that video was excessive to the point that it was not funny.

I have observed leftists acting this way AFTER Alaska’s governor Sarah Palin, and Delaware’s Senator Joseph Biden completed their debate Thursday night. Can they be any more mean spirited, disrespectful, in denial, and down right prejudiced, bigoted, misogynist, and hate filled?

Quite a few of CNN and MSNBC’s “guests” since that debate have clearly manifested venomous, vindictive, arrogant, and condescending behavior and speech, not to mention selective memory, as well as distorted, irrational, fabricated, and misguided thinking.

The hatred and maliciousness from the left wing, fifth column Palin haters is so thick, so poisonous, so toxic, that it oozes from the television. After observing them and feeling their sickening bile spewing from their dark hole where their heart should be, I’ve found myself wanting to call the HAZMAT team to come disinfect me, my TV, and my home.

William2006 on October 4, 2008 at 7:52 AM

This could actually have the potential to be funny but they failed miserably. lame at best.

ajmontana on October 4, 2008 at 8:09 AM

I thought it was hilarious and provided me with several new phrases to use in future discussions with my coworkers.

‘hit a whale on your way to france’ lol

tlynch001 on October 4, 2008 at 8:22 AM

Lil’ O’Reilly is very funny. How about Lil’ Olbermann and Lil Maddow? The same kid and play both.

RobCon on October 4, 2008 at 8:27 AM

Lame. Obnoxious use of children to push a political agenda. Looks like something made by The Ad Council.

petefrt on October 4, 2008 at 8:47 AM

Am amazed everyone’s on the people making the kid “swear.”

That kid was NOT swearing.

Didn’t you guys watch Michelle Malkin doin’ the Amanda Marcotte thing where the (non bleeped) outtakes clearly showed her saying “Impeach the farker” and “son of a batch” at the end? And her laughing afterwards?

That said, am no fan of the radical homosexual agenda but putting the wrong wrong wrong extreme gay bashing in the mouth of a small child – and not only because O’Reilly has never done such a thing – was the real scandal.

inviolet on October 4, 2008 at 10:18 AM

Hey, could someone fill me in on how this is “funny”?

Something needs to be funny when there is an ounce of truth to it. “The list”? The watches too much Colbert and somehow thinks that Colbert actually is a direct parody of O’Reilly.

Speaking out against gays? Reference, please. Oh, right, another Colbert reference. Hmmm…

The entire “we’ll do it live”? Close. Problem is, he didn’t do that when on The Factor, or even doing political commentary, for that matter.

A kid dropping the f-bomb. Admittedly, once in a while, that’s funny, but this person just dropped the ball on that one.

ProTip: If you want to make a satire, actually base it on the original person. This may actually involve an ounce of work on your part. Scary, I know, but true.

All in all, I think the reason lefties like to use kids in satire like this is that they’re still in that mental state, and the only way they can relate. “A five year old said that–now that’s something I can understand!

CatsGodot on October 4, 2008 at 10:23 AM

He dropped an F-Bomb? I didn’t hear one. I heard a bleep that suggested he dropped an f-bomb. Naw, it was funny. A main aspect of Humor is to exaggerate your target’s opinion to the absurd. Unless you think Stewart and Colbert are serious new shows you couldn’t think this was an accurate representation of O’Rielly…. Oh wait…

billhedrick on October 4, 2008 at 11:18 AM

This must be one of Will Ferrell’s videos..

reshas1 on October 4, 2008 at 11:27 AM

I never think it’s funny making a kid swear. O’Rielly does often lose it but never on the topics that were mentioned or come to the conclusions. This video make’s off to be some kind of Greensboro pastor which he is nothing like.

Strawman.

shick on October 4, 2008 at 11:48 AM

I didn’t think it was funny. Oh and did anyone else other than me think that the kid looked like a mini Bill Maher?

ic1redeye on October 4, 2008 at 12:17 PM

I prefer humor that’s funny.

snaggletoothie on October 4, 2008 at 2:24 PM

My collie is WAY funnier.

CyberCipher on October 4, 2008 at 5:11 PM

I thought it was pretty funny myself. As far as indoctrination goes. Puuleeze. Kids have been imitating adults on TV since TV was invented. This kid just had a wig and some special effects. That’s it.

Plus, at least you know they’re watching fox. :)

Guardian on October 4, 2008 at 9:59 PM

This must be one of Obama’s “small donors”.

unclesmrgol on October 5, 2008 at 10:05 AM

Typical of the left to critisize what they know nothing about. So typical.

That was funny, but way off on the gay bashing. OReilly is actually sympathetic and tolerant of gays and absolutely never bashes them.

That is how the Elitists stay superior to us knuckledragging Conseravtives, by making us all out to be a bunch if bible thumping biggots.
