It was disgusting. And I have just attended the funeral of a family member. Biden was using that for political gain. Disgusting and dispictable!!!!

I am sorry to hear about your loss.

My reaction wasn’t disgust – but as someone who lost a best friend and two siblings at a young age, and the last of my parents not long ago, I know that there comes a time when you can talk about it without choking up.

It is my impression that Joe Biden’s loss occurred quite some time ago; he seems happy with his current wife, and his life turned out all right. I guess I have a little trouble believing he was sincere, and not using it (as you say) for political purposes.

Okay, I’m having a lot of trouble believing that. Liberals are eating it up, however.

Naomi Wolfe in on Medved arguing Palin was out of her depth. In support of her opinion, Wolfe cites facts which are either wrong or lies. What a joke Wolfe is.

I was listening too. It reminded me of debate class, when one side has to take a position they don’t really support. Like most liberals, she has to override her own personally held beliefs (that women really ARE capable of doing this job) to be so critical of Palin’s performance.

Hearing her debate an intelligent man like Medved was strange, too. She sounded like a college freshman.

It’s an interesting idea, and they DID throw her under the bus. She’s gone.

She knows that if she criticizes Palin, she runs the risk of upsetting the PUMAs, a major part of her base.

Exactly. The Clintons have been around forever. We know how they operate. We know what to expect of/from them. I seriously think that Senator Obama would, at bare minimum, protect surrender this country. I do not, nor have I ever, though that of Hillary Clinton.

Am I wrong or perhaps feeling punk from MSM poisoning or has the euphoria over Palin’s performance been deflated to a sense of dread of our future overlords? Wasn’t it just a generation ago that JFK stared down a communist during the month of October? Now there’s someone of just about the same political stripe looking to sit at the same desk as JFK. Clinton, either, seems sane and rational to this conservative in contrast to the Great and Powerful Oz.

Perhaps the MSM is in full court press trying to convince us that our political radar is on the fritz and that Obama is actually leading.

I certainly hope not because if we have to watch a President-Elect Obama trying to quiet the chants of O-bam-a! on election night, I’m afraid that it will be a revelation for me that the America that I grew up in no longer exists.

I call BS! It’s a private heartache, and he used it publicly to garner sympathy. It’s unmanly and unseemly and demeans the tragic nature of the accident.

It doesn’t remove the tragic element, but the Senator is not above using the story for political advantage. That was the ONLY THING about his performance last night that disgusted me.

My reaction to that was to be absolutely repulsed! There was no reason for Biden to bring that up!!!! No one said anything about his family situation. He brought it up out of the blue and then showed how he can cry on cue!

Palin said she had not been able to afford health insurance and Biden said, “Well my wife and child died.” Like, your experience is nothing… mine is what’s important.

America wants leaders who believe in America and fight for what’s important to them. Elitist lifetime politicians want socialism because big government is their goal.

It’s as simple as that. Before anyone snarks that McCain is a politician of 26 years let me remind everyone that he first went and served his country and spent five years denied of his right to freedom. He doesn’t represent everything the GOP base wants but he sure does know that socialism would bring our economy to a halt.

Hillary is an Alinsky-ite too … she just wasn’t selected by the Soros/Dean/nutroot/Axelrod puppetmasters.

Let’s don’t go overboard with Clinton nostalgia.
