John Mccain rigged the primaries against Huck (think Washington State)….let’s hope he knows how to do it in the general also.

And the show should have been cancelled about 7 years ago. They can’t even get it up for their showcase Halloween shows, let alone the regular, Sunday shows.

Yes, but for the wrong reasons. Seth McFarlane is a flaming liberal who brutally mocks conservatives and conservative ideals.

And for some reason, be bitterly hates the disabled.

1) Halloween specials fall outside of “Simpsons reality”, e.g. people sometimes behave differently, can be different people all together, there supernatural possibilities, main characters can die, etc.

2) Homer is an idiot, so his vote for Obama should not surprise or offend anyone.

Can’t see Matt or Trey campaigning for Obama.

How many potential voters are likely to do something just because they saw Homer Simpson do it?

Not the point. People take their news from pop culture. What’s repeated again and again starts to sound like the truth.

In this scene it’s the diabold myth.

This scene won’t convince people to vote Obama. That’s what all the anti-Bush and anti-war shows from the past year or two are for.

how come when a toothless appalachian with no running water and no job votes thats “middle america” but when a homeless black bum from NY, Chicago, DC, or wherever votes its fraud?

Not a chance. Marge partially shares her daughter’s liberal views. She’s just not as extreme. Marge could have been a Hillary supporter, but she wouldn’t be a PUMA.

He’s right about Ohio, though.

No, that’s South Park.

The Simpsons have always been bitterly partisan and have only gotten worse in the last two years.

I can take humor aimed at my ideals but not when that’s the only humor the show offers.

That’s nice. Too bad The Simpsons actually stopped being funny about 10 years ago. Or I grew up.

I forget which one.

Oh, wait, I still think South Park is funny and they “make fun of everybody.” So maybe it’s just The Simpsons.

For the record, I have never liked the Simpsons. I have watched episodes either out of boardom or to see what everyone else was talking about, but I have never liked the “look at the idiot” humor. Even when I was a kid.
And I don’t find South Park entertaining, either.

Homer is a typical Democrat union bozo who will vote for anyone who appears to promise a free lunch. I wonder though if he knows about Obama’s disdain for nuclear power?

I haven’t seen all that many episodes, but the opening seems to indicate that Homer isn’t aware that it is a nuclear power plant that he works at.
