A few people have e-mailed to say that the livestream in Ed’s open thread complicates comment discussion by slowing refresh times, so here’s a no-frills alternative. Take your pick.

Ok…Biden is now openly contridicting himself within the same sentence…’According to the Commanding General in Afghanistan, a surge will not work…he said what we need is more troops, more money, more infrasture…” What the hell is a ’surge’ then and how is this different from what we did in Iraq…Greasy Joe didn’t mention tactics..but I just assume that is because he didn’t even know what role they played in the surge in Iraq.
