Sarah was absolutely wonderful, as I thought she would be.
She will only get better and better as time goes on. If only McCain could learn something from her and get tougher with Obama. Obama is a Chicago thug politician so McCain had better toughen up and come out fighting or he will have his ancient a$$ handed to him by this Saul Alinsky wannabe.

How the media can say no major gaffes last night after Biden’s NATO/Hezbollah lulu is beyond me. Sen. Joe proves that he is always good value. SarahCuda dressed Biden and he didn’t know what hit him. He didn’t defend Obama when Gov Palin quoted his own words about Barack being too inexperienced to be President. Very telling.

I should add that Biden didn’t show any sign whatsoever of the irrational hatred of Palin that much of the left displays. I think it was his best public performance. Joe without the smirks. He should keep it at is age. It wears well.

The DUers got hold of that one. I was over there checking their reaction, as if I didn’t know what it would be. They are nearly universally thrilled with Joe’s performance (I think they’re talking themselves into it, unless they really DO enjoy hearing that there’s a big American hole to dig out of, that it doesn’t matter how many times you get knocked down, as long as you get up, blah blah blah), and they believe the polls that say he beat her like a drum. They aren’t willing to give her credit for her performance in any way, shape, or form.

Same as it ever was.

I would be shocked if Governor Palin didn’t totally connect with middle America tonight, and I would be equally shocked if people who expected her to come out wearing a dunce cap (thank you, CBS, ABC, NBC, etc.) didn’t sit there with their jaws on the floor.

The name of God, in all its variations, does not occur in the Book of Esther. This strange phenomenon was discerned, and corrected, very early…

Doesn’t change my own personal faith or belief, but I don’t believe it shows up in the English versions either… not ‘God’, nor ‘Lord’, nor any of the english translations of all the old Jewish “El Shaddai”s, etc…..

not derailing this, just interesting Bibical tidbit.

I was really encouraged by what the people in Luntz’s group were saying. They’re tired of politics and mad at being used. Palin offered new energy, love of America and its people, and positive, forward thinking. I thought Palin did a great job of showing how Biden’s answers were all looking backwards to place blame. That’s not how you move forward – not in the witch hunt way that Congress has done the last 2 years.

I do think once the financial bill passes in the House, the pounding will begin on actual causes of the crisis – in order to make sure, as Palin said, “Never again.”

Obama’s going to be eaten alive when it comes out that the CRA pressure on banks to do subprime lending began with Chicago’s ACORN group, led in its efforts by Barack Obama, who threatened discrimination claims against banks who didn’t fill the affirmaive action-type quotas.
