He’ll always be RAIN MAN to me especially after seeing this video.

I have been doing this for years. You would not believe the comments I get from people about how stupid I am doing that. But I keep on doing it, even when it pains me. I love the movies. I can no longer support their agendas and let’s face it, when I pay to see or rent a movie, my money is going towards their political agenda. I am not doing it anymore.

Yeah I’m with you. It would be impossible to avoid everything. Like I said, I intend to see American Carol because Zucker made a comedy with conservatives in mind to entertain and progress conservative sentiment. And he goes on TV to espouse his post-9-11 change to conservatism. And… and, he supports conservative performers. But I don’t flock to the theater to see anything else. I don’t buy DVDs and I don’t buy CDs. If you have to see a movie renting it is actually the best way to limit what Hollywood gets in the deal. But I would be completely happy to boycott them to the point where they couldn’t afford to even produce a movie; see if they ask the government for a bail-out and then we can complain about the big paychecks the big names are getting.

And about the comments, I have even my most conservative friends railing against Matthews and Olbermann’s programs and then crow about the NBC line up of programs they watch. I just don’t waste the time on them. And it’s also surprising how much time you have for family, friends and projects when you’re not such a slave to the tube. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against being entertained by talented people. They just need to learn that they don’t get to decide what America is or should be because of their celebrity and half of their paying audience is insulted by them almost every time they open their pie-holes.

I’ve said it before. We as Conservatives wouldn’t send a dime to the most liberal politicians campaign. Yet we send millions to Hollywood and the rest of the entertainment industry hand over fist. And we listen and adore these people. So, they tell the world not to drill for oil but to just check the pressure in your tires. Yeah, as they have their limo driver take them to a private airport to get on their private jet. So while they’re talking about us turning our thermostats down to safe energy, they’re living in 40,000 square foot mansions buying carbon units. While they’re telling us not to own guns, their bodyguards are packing as they patrol the perimeter of their 40,000 square foot mansion.

Put them out of business. If we collectively decided and truly were able to boycott Hollywood, we could reduce their receipts by half. Let them know how we feel

People in flyover states shouldn’t even get a vote. You don’t know what is best for you like those of us on the coasts do. We are more enlightened and have better schools. We live in high rises and live close to our jobs and talk to our friends and know what is best for the country. We know how to take care of the environment because we see it every few years on vacation. You people who live in the country don’t love this land as much as we do. We need to take the assets of those who have accumulated them and distribute them to all so that all is fair and good. We need to sit down and talk to our enemies. That is the only way to reach true peace and harmony. They don’t want to kill us, they just want our acceptance and love. What is wrong with you stupid neo-cons who don’t see the light. It would all be so easy if we just love one another. Obama is the way, the truth, and the light. He is the only one who can save us from those who would do us harm. He has the answers and we should follow him blindly. He shields us from the storm. He is the one.

I think we all should be. But fear is a good motivator. If only our media would present the information about Obama that should be scaring voters to death! This is just surreal to me. How did we let this happen? Good men doing nothing and all that. *sigh*

I haven’t been to but one movie since I returned from overseas. Watching the media and the way it reported the war turned my stomach and I said then I’d only pick a very few actors or production companies that are worthy of my money. I personally am going to only one movie in the foreseeable future. On Oct 4th I’m taking my daughter to see American Carol. I don’t care if it’s a complete pooch. Zucker made this film for conservatives and I’ll support him.
