“I’ve officially been saved, and soon, whether they like it or not, the rest of the country will be too. I will follow him, all the way to the White House, and I’ll be standing there in our nation’s capital in January 2009, when Barack Obama is inaugurated as the 44th president of the United States of America. In the name of Obama, Amen.”

What a vapid little twit this college chick is! All one has to do is replace Obama with der Fuhrer and we would be reading from the Hitler Youth!

A smiling Obama under his own cutesy sayings like “Obama screwed yo Mama.” …

Chakra Hammer on October 2, 2008 at 12:22 AM

If Obama is all we need for a savior, this country has lost all judgment.

I mean, Paul Newman, or Hannah Montana. But Obama? Come on people, ask for something ‘better!’

trailboss on October 2, 2008 at 12:28 AM

This twerp is worse than a SA ‘brownshirt’ in a way:

The SturmAbteilung had no religion or morals or ethos: they just wanted to hang out and drink beer and beat the crap out of the Reds ( who wore slightly browner shirts )

They didn’t believe they were guided by a Higher Power, or pretend that they were: if you f+cked with them they stomped you into the pavement; if they were ordered to, they stomped your into the pavement after disrupting your Kommunist get-together

This clueless twerp is probably Dead Serious, with all the fervor of a Bent True Believer–which means that In The Name of Obama he will lie, cheat, and steal

and that’s just for starters……

Remember Oral Roberts? His gig was touch my hand on the TV screen and you will be saved.
Chris Dodd, Chuck Schumer, Barnie Frank, Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama seem to be saying, “We are your worst nightmare.”
And I’ve been awake ever since.

Perhaps this is parody. I’m not sure.

After working for a university for 8 years, I can say with near certainty it is not parody. College libs are some of the stupidest, most humorless people ever to exist. I’m sure the student who wrote that op-ed feels exactly what she said she feels with every fiber of her idiotic, space-wasting being.

Wingo on October 2, 2008 at 1:40 AM

Hands off the Obama man, the flim flam man.
His mind is in the clouds and his talk is make believe.
Oh lord, the man’s a fraud, he’s a flim flam man. He’s so cagey, he’s a flim flam man.

Hands off the Obama man, the flim flam man.
He’s wrapped up in a big beautiful box making out like he’s a gift from Santa Claus.
Oh lord, the man’s a fraud, he’s a flim flam man. He’s a fox, he’s a flim flam man.

Everybody wants him, the Germans and the Brits, and all the Hollywood elites he does disarm.
Oh yeah, the beautiful gent, you know he has hardly a cent.
He pays his rent with his charm.

Hands off the Obama man, the flim flam man.
His mind is up his sleeve and his talk is make believe.
Oh lord, the man’s a fraud, he’s a flim flam man. He’s so cagey, he’s an artist.
He’s a fox, he’s a flim flam man.
Don’t believe him, he’s a flim flam man.

Hawaii will fake one? Really? The Republican Governor of Hawaii who is campaigning for McCain in 6 states, perhaps? Oh wait, I forgot, Hawaii is just a corrupt coconut state – we phony up documents to violate the US Constitution all the time. Everyone here takes turns doing it.

Obama has 3 days to turn over his birth certificate. His Motion to Dismiss was denied. I got this from the PUMA site…

CCRWM on October 1, 2008 at 10:59 PM

If you actually read that link, you’d see that it’s the plaintiff’s response (”filing”) to the motion, which includes an order for the judge to sign and date, but it doesn’t show that he’s done that.

The summary of the case describes it thusly (emphasis mine):

September 29, 2008 13 RESPONSE in Opposition re 12 MOTION to Dismiss Brief in Support thereof and proof of service filed by PHILIP J. BERG. (Attachments: # 1 Exhibit, # 2 Exhibit, # 3 Exhibit, # 4 Exhibit, # 5 Exhibit, # 6 Exhibit, # 7 Exhibit, # 8 Exhibit, # 9 Exhibit, # 10 Exhibit, # 11 Exhibit, # 12 Exhibit)(BERG, PHILIP) (Additional attachment(s) added on 9/30/2008: # 13 Exhibit 1) (jpd, ). (Entered: September 29, 2008)

So you’re either an idiot or a moby.

It’s not a parody. I live about half an hour outside northampton, where smith is. You can’t walk down main street without seeing some pothead playing guitar or two lesbians making out. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

The Left had better wake up and get Obama to lose.
If Obama loses the Left can them scream racism and
probably get a few more goodies in their goody bag,
but if Obama wins, the Left will kill itself.
You can win an election by stealth. You can get a nuclear
warhead into New York City by stealth. You cannot
destroy NYC by stealth, nor can you destroy the country
by stealth. When Obama begins to unfurl the Plan, most
of the nation, except the crazed America-haters, will
behold what has happened. It will be the end of the Left
and the end of the mainstream media. It will also be the
end of too many American lives, but that’s what happens
when you elect a pacifist. You get a big war. Guaranteed.

davem on October 2, 2008 at 6:20 AM

An era of American economic policy is coming to a close. Ironically, and surprisingly to many, the last few months of the Bush administration will mark the end of the so-called “Reagan revolution.”

maverick muse on October 2, 2008 at 7:25 AM

davem on October 2, 2008 at 6:20 AM

I’m not sure the American People are even going to be able to react in the way you’re saying. There are elements in the media that would consider the changes he’ll make exactly what they’d do if they were in his place as President. They’re cut from the same cloth and for the most part, their political beliefs are the very reason they’ve come into the media industry. Once the Fairness Doctraine is passed, I believe this country will be under what I consider the sum of all fears. The only thing we will hear is what comes from extreme liberal America.

As the news of the causes of teh melt-down come out, just look at the way they are drug kicking and screaming to the truth. Example: If on any radio or TV program during a national crisis, some Republican came out and said the Republican Party was who caused it; the media would be running the statement, the interview non-stop. As it is Rep. Artur Davis admited “Democrats” were too slow “to Recognize Fannie, Freddie Recklessness”.

(Crickets)

The time is not November 5th or 6th to start figuring out what we’re going to do to turn things around. It’s now. It’s the media, stupid!

hawkdriver on October 2, 2008 at 7:25 AM

Hmm, didn’t mean to sound like I said Davem, stupid. I mean all of us “stupid”, we need to get it.

hawkdriver on October 2, 2008 at 7:27 AM

I made a point of showing the Obama-jugend videos to my family–including the kids–and then put on a dvd of “Triumph of the Will”. I want them to know exactly what this man is and what he represents and what he will do if he gains power. By the time I finished, they were as frightened as I was.

I’m someone who loves irony, and if the stakes weren’t so high, I’d be laughing my rear end off at George Lucas. In Return of the Sith, when Palpatine takes power as Emperor to the cheers and applause of the Republic Senate, he has Amidals say, “So this is how Liberty dies…with thunderous applause.” He had originally intended the quote to be a jab at President Bush. How ironic that it might end up applying to the man he is supporting, Barack Obama. But, those of us who know what’s happening won’t be laughing.

Matt Helm on October 2, 2008 at 7:32 AM

Is it just me? I watched the Obama brownshirt video and I couldnt understand a word they said except for “Obama.”
Must be an old-guy thing.

abcurtis on October 2, 2008 at 7:52 AM

HawaiiLwyr on October 2, 2008 at 1:47 AM

Thank BO for that. I was worried that the one or two right leaning papers not fully in the tank for BO just might bring up something about this. It’s good to know that the people of the great state of Hawaii will do the right thing to save the planet.

A long time ago I mentioned that if you want to see the future of BO just watch that movie because Lucus laid it out pretty well.

‘I’ve officially been saved, and soon, whether they like it or not, the rest of the country will be too.’

It’s the “whether they like it or not,” part that freaks me out a bit. I couldn’t care less if some lost little college boy or girl “finds” Obama or whatever. It’s that conviction that the rest of the country will follow part that gets me.

Alden Pyle on October 2, 2008 at 8:13 AM

I’m thinking it’s a parody. I mean, a Smith College girl interested in what a man is doing? That place is practically a radical lesbian commune. My wife taught rabbinics there in the late 90’s, and all the Smith babes wanted to do was burn the books she was teaching (e.g. Talmud) because they were just patriarchal propaganda. I used to tease my wife that the quintessential Smith College student question was, “Um, like, if Rabbi Meir had been a woman, do you think he would have been a lesbian?”

Read Stanley Payne’s A History of Fascism: 1914-1945. He has a rather interesting chart showing the elements and goals of a fascist/totalitarian communist state. One of the most important goals is the destruction of traditional institutions such as the family and the church and their replacement with new institutions, new liturgy, and new symbols. Another goal is the fostering of a youth culture. And there are several others. He’s following the program to the letter.

Matt Helm on October 2, 2008 at 8:17 AM

I read this and think it’s probably a parody of Obama’s celebrity status, but the fact that the Obamanation and his followers are so over the top, makes it so that I can’t be certain that this is not just a tinfoil hat cult member of someone who hasn’t put in an honest day’s work in his short political life.

eaglewingz08 on October 2, 2008 at 8:27 AM

…the cult of the earthly leader is bad enough, but even a tongue in cheek equation of Obama to the Messiah confirms that Leftist statism is a secular religion, has orthodoxies, has heretics, has infidels (me, among many others), which explains why its adherents never learn….

…Leftist statism has spread misery, murder and want all over the globe…and it has set its eyes on America….

brtex on October 2, 2008 at 9:24 AM

About the only way Obamites could get any creepier would be sacrificial ceremonies. Watch for them within a week or two…

For all the people saying “this isn’t so bad,” just look at how many times you’ve had to say that this past week. It’s the pattern, not the event.
