I really doubt that this will work as most Americans don’t see a tax increase on someone else as a tax increase on themselves. Even if there is some indirect negative impact on them from a tax increase on someone else that claim is too counter intuitive for most people to believe it.

Cut off what job creation? The last several months have seen job loses and capital gains taxes have not been raised, in fact some years ago they were lowered.

If this is the best that McCain can do he might as well send Cindy over to meet Michelle to help her pick out drapes for the White House.

What obama is doing is promising the people who in fact pay no federal income tax that he will give them cash for thier vote!

That should read — as long as McCain keeps the bipartisan crap out of the campaign. Leadership is not groveling bipartisanship, McCain needs to be taught that lesson.

Bipartisanship is OK if both parties act in good faith. It is actually possible at the state level, but as Zell Miller discovered, it’s impossible in Washington.

The referee in this game is the media, and they are making sure that McCain cannot get his message out — he can’t move the ball forward.

I honestly think this election may go to Obama just because the media is so determined to get him the win. Then Obama and the Democrats will establish the Fairness Doctrine, shut down blogs with lawsuits, and the media will stand triumphant, the only voice people are allowed to hear.

Time to get a fresh cup of coffee and watch a Reagan video. Damn, this is depressing.

That’s brilliant. I hope someone at the McC campaign is reading HotAir today. They’ve obviously got a top-flight production team capable of turning this stuff around in hours. That is exactly what needs to happen.

There was another ad about that from yesterday.

Still, there need to be more ads showing that Democrats are to blame for pushing Fannie and Freddie into making risky loans, while McCain and other Republicans tried to rein them in in 2005, but was filibustered by Democrats. But maybe he needs to wait until whatever bailout bill passes before he says that, then he can blame the Democrats for the massive raid on taxpayers.

Not only that, but they should place Obambi square in the middle of the FM/FM situation as the lawyer he was for ACORN in 1995. Obama is only one real-world example of the systematic fleecing of the system while pushing for the socialization of America.

They need to hit that hard. The American People are pissed and just need the facts to make the wisest decision.

Yes. And high income taxes don’t punish the rich, they punish people trying to get rich. The already-rich tend to support high income taxes because they don’t want yahoos moving in next door.
