Singing the new Gospel of the New Messiah; Update: NBC chief behind the effort? Update: NBC denies

I’m a little sick of the idea of using children to promote political positions and especially candidates, so I’m inclined to look at this kind of effort with a jaundiced eye under any circumstances. However, this video seems even creepier than most. Sing for Change brags about getting 22 children from 5-12 to regurgitate some execrable lyrics as though they had the first clue about the topic of the songs:
Very, very creepy. Leave the children out of it, please.
Update: Another paean to Dear Leader from the children:
Oops! Wrong Dear Leader.
Update II: Sing for Change’s website tells us who created this effort:
As Sunday approached, a neighbor volunteered a home. Production wizards got wind of the project and offered their help in recordingit. The likes of Jeff Zucker, Holly Schiffer, Peter Rosenfeld, Darin Moran, Jean Martin, Andy Blumenthal, and Nick Phoenix rearranged schedules to participate. Holly Schiffer was able to get three High Definition cameras (Panasonic HVX250’s), and an AVID editing facility. When Jeff Zucker went to pick up the camera package, Ted Schilowitz happened to be there and offered a RED camera set up on a SteadiCam.
“Production wizard” Jeff Zucker appears to also be President & CEO of NBC Universal Jeff Zucker. At least David Zucker (apparently no relation) sticks with adults for his political work. Will Sing for Change get its own variety-hour special next?
Update III: NBC denies this is the same Jeff Zucker:
“It’s a different Jeff Zucker,” wrote an NBC spokesperson to Politico.
Fair enough. However, this Jeff Zucker has access to an expensive, professional studio quality stereo microphone set and enough cash for an expensive full-color 3′x5′ original Obama poster behind the children, plus a pretty nice camera.
Update IV: Bob Owens notes that this Jeff Zucker appears to be a Hollywood gaffer, with a credit on Boogie Nights. Great movie, by the way, but Wonderland was more factual.

Hmm, One of my FRiends just emailed me on this, and I was coming over here to let everyone know about it.
Seems like I’m behind the curve again.
This creeps me out completely.
Not only does it remind me of Kim Jung Il and his illustrious father, the Hitler youth, but every sick religious cult that indoctrinates their kids to sing worship to their all too human guru.
Every day makes me more convinced that America no longer deserves any better than Commie0bammie as their great and glorious messiah. That he isn’t laughed off the national stage at every appearance proves that the general populace is too dumb to be free.

Reminds me of the videos of the sweet little Palestinian kiddies at their kindergarden graduation skits cavorting about with toy AK-47’s and playing merry terrorists.

Yes, they insist that everyone agree with them
Yes, if they get power they will punish everyone who stands in their way ( ‘punish’ = imprisonment, death, loss of employment, loss of promotion or tenure, etc )

…watch Triumph of the Will sometime….
I have a pretty good copy on DVD…I watch it sometimes the way folks would watch a Wes Craven movie…the people — the human props — all look nice, friendly, admirable…all of the hoods who speak onstage, especially Robert Ley (a longtime alcoholic) and Julius Streicher (Gauleiter of Franconia, and hence the “host” of the Party Day, a pornographic antisemite, and publisher of the party’s newspaper) look like exactly what they were: technocratic nobodies, Hannah Arendt’s banality of evil.
The thing that struck me, kept tapping at my dome, and I couldn’t shake, was ol’ Mr. Schicklgrueber’s rant to the RAD (Reich Arbeitsdienst, the guys with the shovels)…in it, he basically says that there’s no class (a big problem in postwar Germany) and that the individual would subliminate himself to the state. Reading Goldberg’s book, I see the tie between Mussolini, Stalin, Mao, Hitler and the Left in this country: not only the obvious cults of personality, regimentation of society, and advocacy of government by “experts” (one of Billy Clinton’s pipe-dreams), but also the notion that the citizen owed his duty to the collective. The citizen served the government, not the other way ’round, as enshrined in our Constitution.
So, Obama’s gonna bring the children, or the nation, or some-damned-body, not only “change” (whatever that is) but also happiness and hope.
…therefore, I assume that you are now supposed to depend on the government not only to treat with foreign powers, secure the borders, collect customs duties, and deliver the mail…you’re also supposed to count on them to reorder existence so’s your deliveries of happiness and hope arrive on time…along with the Sears Wishbook, I presume.
…this year, the buzzword is “leadership”.
…well, folks…I, for one, don’t need a leader.
I need the guy in the Oval Office to do as he’s told. He swears to uphold the Constitution…it’d be nice if he read it once in a while…if only to zero in on his job description….

The masses… it becomes more apparent every day that Obama, and the cadre on the Left, have contempt for “the masses.” That is, people will believe any lie, as long as it’s it’s big enough. And all we do here is squeal, squirm, and hope that it all works itself out, because we’re BY GOD AMERICANS. Nice group think…
Oh, and for those who keep throwing that oath of commission out there… nothing in it says we’re bound to support and defend CINCUS or Congress. I took the same oath. I swore to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC, and bear true faith and allegiance to the same (that would be the Constitution, in case you got lost). And that statement about discharging your duties well and faithfully… What part of that is confusing? Do we abdicate that responsibility the minute we hang up the uniform? I guess it’s OK, as long as you’re being paid well enough, the war’s overseas, and cable’s coming in just fine. Oh, but then, I guess that would make y’all mercenaries. Hmm…
Yeah, it’s comfortable when it’s all on TV. What guarantees that it won’t be in the classroom next week? Or in the supermarket? Or at work?
I don’t care if you get mad at me. What do I have to lose? I’m “just” a blog commenter. At least you’ll be mad at SOMETHING.

We can now move to the Obama Calendar. Time begins anew with his inauguration, Year 1 A.O. (After Obama) All prior years will be numbered backwards and known as B.O. (Before Obama.)
Year 1 will also be remembered as the year after the oceans began receding.
obladioblada on September 30, 2008 at 8:09 PM
we do…there’s a reason he wants a “civillian national security force” as big as the military and as funded….he forgets there’s a lot of us who used to be green outside the fence as well….
stand easy and save the fury for when it’s needed….we get too rowdy too quick and it hurts us rather than helps….the old “military dictatorship” canard….
when the time comes if need be soldiers will deliver the Constitution back to the people not wordsmythes.

I read through a link on Michelle Malkin’s site that the choir leader here works at some elite “arts” school for children in LaLa land that just opened a 12 million dollar expansion wing. Yes, just your typical spur-of-the-moment gathering of children bursting into song. I didn’t enjoy this as much as the “Z-listers” video posted here a while back with the Obama song and Perez Hilton pointing at me and insisting in song I vote for the Messiah.

Yeah, it’s starting to look more and more like Germany in the 1930’s — ripe for Hitler takeover. I’m not saying he’s Hitler, but the feel of the sheep going for Socialism in the face of such historic economic turmoil (at least to hear the media and general man on the street tell it) is chilling.
The children, youth, well that’s the crowning blow. So very creepy (and Palin’s so very scary?!)

…hint: commies like to start their regimes with “Year Zero”.
Example: Cambodia, 1975. The Khmer Rouge promised “change”, as well. They delivered.
Actually, it would’ve been nicer if the whole BC/AD thing would’ve had a zero wedged inbetween. It’d've saved us that whole business some cranks bring up whenever we have a change of century.

…there’s another creepy element in the World According to Obama…but this one has precedent behind it….
…Mussolini had a “civilian national security force”…they wore black shirts…they got the trains to run on time….
…Hitler had a “civilian national security force”…they wore brown shirts…they beat down the Bolshies….
…I guess that Obama’s guys will have blue shirts…ostensibly because police uniforms are blue…but also like the Romanian, British, Irish, and French fascists in the 1930’s, and the Spanish Falange. Even the French Canadians had blue-shirted “civilian national security force”….
…so, blue shirts — along with his statist policies — would stand him in good stead historically among his predecessors in totalitarian bliss….
…bliss, I say! Didn’t the kids sing that he would bring happiness?

America remains a center right country folks. Republicans really lost their way, esp under the Bush administration. Big spending on socialist welfare programs, reaching across the isle to create law with the likes of Ted Kennedy, really poor communications with the people… The list of mistakes made are very long. GW Bush is not unlike most modern day leaders who had the balls to take our country to war; they all became very unpopular.
The fact that Pelosi & Reid run houses have an approval rate of 10% is proof positive that Americans are not ready for Socialism. Doesn’t mean Obama won’t win this election, but does show that our country remains center right. Democrats ruled this country for most of my adult life, then came the Reagan era. Republicans will be fine if they put men/woman forward that have a record of solid Conservative values & principles. The Democrats who won in 2006 ran on as Conservative Democrats in areas where Conservative Republicans were fed-up with the phony Conservative that was elected into office based on a Conservative platform. Trent Lott and his good ol boys club ruined our chances in 2006, and rightfully so.
Our country is sick and tired of the politics of personal assassination. Our country is in no way ready for Socialism. Everybody I talk with (both sides of the political spectrum) are fed-up to their eye balls with our politicians, and Nancy Pelosi just emboldens these bad feelings. Everybody needs to hold all politicians accountable! In my view, Democrats are being led off the cliff by the radical elements of their party. The GOP simply needs to put people forward that are solid Conservatives and keep a close eye on them so that they don’t fall prey to the millions of temptations that will be thrown at them by sick and evil people (such as every member of the Liberal Media).

That video is some freaky, freaky stuff. The Obamatons just don’t have a clue what it is they are “believing” in. Obama has extremely limited experience, no foreign policy experience, as a State Senator voted present at least 130 times, and was only a U.S. Senator for 143 days before electing to run for President. But somehow none of that matters, people just want to feel good about a President.
Aw, look at the little children for Obama, isn’t that cute?

I now live in small town USA (Montana), but prior to the past (3) years, I lived in Los Angeles for 45 years. I’ve seen it both ways, having come from the land of Liberals and now living in an area where 90% of the Democrats are very Conservative family oriented people. I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Wyoming, Idaho, and Utah these past (3) years also. Trust me Moxie, Americans are not ready for Liberalism-Socialism. This Liberal love fest we are watching will run it’s course, and the people will rid the country of this bullshit for decades to come. Pelosi, Reid, Murtha, Kerry, Durbin, et al; these radical Liberals will destroy that party in the near future. Obama is a puppet of these radical Liberals, nothing more.
John McCain can win this election, but he will need to hit Obama hard (really hard) on his connections to really bad-evil people, and the choices made over the past 25 years. If McCain doesn’t fight back, and fight back with passion, the base will get frustrated with him once again and he will lose this election for sure.
If Obama wins, we will survive the next (4) years, but the Democrat party won’t. We, the people! We will not allow our country to become controlled by a few hundred Liberal weenies dead set on the destruction of capitalism, free markets, and an open society.
No freakin way; these people are nearing their end!

It’s time for McCain, at the next debate, to discuss LEADERSHIP. Not leadership of the American people, but leadership of the government. The people are supposed to lead, the government follow. And the President should lead the government to follow the Constitution and the will of the people.
Obama sees the role the other way ’round, as any socialist sees it. The Government rules and provides for the masses. The head honcho, Obama, would lead the people, giving them change, and hope (that his rule would end?).

The sun on the meadow is awfully cold
The moose in the forest runs free
But gather together to record HD
Tomorrow belongs to me!
The branch of the local bank suddenly closed
Its assets were bought by JP
But somewhere a gold lining waits unseen
Tomorrow belongs to me!
The babe in the cradle was aborted last night
Her mom couldn’t wait to be free
Barack turned his back on the whole dirty scene
Tomorrow belongs to me!

Is this what Nikita Kruschev meant when he said “We will take America without firing a shot”? “We will bury you within”. This is very sick. Using little children like this. We have some sick puppies. I truly believe that there are more good headed ones though. Hope I am right. Obama is a very dangerous man. One stated that will our military step in? Why the military? Remember the Amendments? The First and Second? If the Government gets out of control. The People can over take them. We are the People. This is why my guns mean the world to me. This election just makes me sick. All these freaks supporting Obama. I will be very picky when it comes to making friends. I love my Country! I have lived to see many events. This is the most damn scariest yet.

Pulled already?

Just so you know, Hitler outlawed homeschooling in Germany… And to this day, that law has never been revoked.
Which means Christians who homeschool their kids have been persecuted there and their families forcibly separated by the state.
We all KNOW where all of this is leading to: total control of children to make them into good little Obama-Communists.
That’s why this cannot stand. We need to fight back with all of our might, and let our anger be known – no, shouted out of the rooftops! – at the polls.

If so, I’m not surprised.

The video has been set to private. Sneaky bastards. Rather than defend their use of children to sing some very cheesy songs, they hide the video from public view.
If anyone had the foresight to download this video, then please upload it onto a website like mediafire.com or megaupload.com.

I wonder if these are the same kids that deranged LA photographer who did the McCain pix for The Atlantic tortured for her anti-Bush exhibit?

I’m a little scared that a radical Muslim anti-Semite (sorry for the redundancy) financed at least part of Obama’s Harvard education (this isn’t an internet rumor – it’s a story told by an ex-Manhattan borough president on a television show), and pulled strings to get him in.
Call me a kook, but I find that just a little bit alarming.
I also find this video alarming.
Please Lord, save this nation from this man.

No, you are not a kook. I worked for a very famous man. And that is true what you said. I known this for a long time. Before Osama Obama said he was running. Don’t forget, his wife is Angela Davies too! :)

Creepy. Here’s another ’special version’ of the People’s Temple of Obama video…
They have the debate moderator in the bag as well.

Video has now been pulled.

Ooops, sorry for above post – I see already mentioned that is is made private.
I shudder to think what stories the parents are telling their little children about Obama and America to get them to put on this little charade…

This one is going to revive the whole Messiah bit, which really hurt Obama in the summer when he pulled out the fake seal and did the Nuremberg Rally. I can see why they pulled it. I hope somebody downloaded it.

the word of the day seems to be “creepy.”
I liked the remake, where someone took the video and overlaid it with “Children of the Damned.” works disturbingly well.
