Glynn, exactly! What’s the point in trashing Gov. Palin? The liberals are doing a fine job of it.

If one is not keen on Palin, perhaps it would be best not to comment or to do so in a constructive manner.

Parker lives not too far from me. I found that article to be somewhat surprising. Normally people around here tend to reserve comment if they disapprove rather than going for the jugular.

The criticism simply seems excessive to me at this point.

Why should anyone keep their opinions on Sarah Palin to themselves. I am not talking about the trashing of Sarah Palin. I am talking about real concerns. Are we not allowed to have them and to voice them. Well, apparently not. I have never trashed Sarah Palin. I abhor the name calling that occurs on the boards I visit, including this one. I don’t do it, not on either side. Kathleen Parker’s column today, and Peggy Noonan’s from several months ago say exactly what I feel. If you do not tow the party line 100%, you simply cannot be a “real conservative” thus you are savaged by those of your own party. How very sad.

A very true observation that we should take advantage of. Whatever the left accuses you of is almost certainly something they’re guilty of. They accuse Palin of being unready for the presidency. Guess what is Obama’s biggest weakness…. They accuse the Republicans of “Republican dirty tricks. Guess who depends the most on dirty tricks, smears, and “October surprises.” They are always looking for Republican scandals. That is the single biggest indicator that they’re hiding scandals themselves.

So let me get this right. You feel Sarah Palin is unqualified to be the Vice President because of her lack of experience. Yet you feel Obama is qualified to be President? He has no more experience than Palin, and at least Palin had to be an administrator and executive with a budget in Alaska. Obama has ZERO executive experience. He has always been an activist or a legislator.

As for the books by Obama, it is easy to write fiction and make it sound good. Both of the books by The One have been roundly criticized for his liberal (excuse the pun) use of literary license.

On a good day Palin might match up with Carter.

I haven’t watch the Couric interview but she was good on Hugh Hewitt. I got the impression she will be doing the rounds with the rest. I don’t think this was a third interview, just an unseen portion of the same one. Many said it was better than the previous. I don’t want to see her with Shep Smith, he drives me crazy with his overly dramatic style.

“Liberal media bias”…blah blah blah…”condescension”…blah blah blah…”let’s give Couric a third inteview!!!” Her response on Biden giving speeches since she was a kid was disingenuous and lame. Look at Couric and just say, “Can’t you take a joke?” Or even, “Well, the point was that Biden has been doing just that; giving speeches. John McCain has been doing quite a bit more than that.”

She better glow on Thursday dammit!
