Sorry, this ad is a bit weak. They need to show video of McCain saying it, then Obama mocking it, and then Obama contradicting himself. C'mon folks, you're gonna have to do better than this.

But what's the "immediate problem" Obama is referring to? The fact that his plan is not yet adopted?

I don't think so...

For the love of God, quit nitpicking McCain to death. The ad is not that bad, and Obama IS A HYPOCRITE.

The remaining "Independent" voters are not into the whole nuance thing. I think this ad is effective. Keep it simple.

Obama and the Media took McCain’s words out of Context when he said the fundamentals of the Economy are strong, McCain was talking about the working people( you can watch McCain’s speech he was referring to the working people in the USA are more productive most innovative and said that they are backbone of the economy and that they are strong, “the fundamentals”)

The Media took McCain out of Context and Obama went along with it.

By itself it's entertaining and will definitely send The One and his liberal media army into a tizzy for a while.

McCain is a racist, hypocritical, old codger who is going to die of cancer any minute while Palin trying to build a hockey rink/ crazy church out of the reflecting pool in the Washington Mall... in 5, 4, 3, 2...

If this ad is the opening salvo in a series of hypocrite ads... I will cheer.

This ad sucks. Only conservatives care if Obama is a hypocrite. Independents don't care.

Tell independents that Obama is a liberal, and then they will care.

Stay on message: Obama is a liberal. McCain is an independent. Reform Prosperity Peace. Win 08.

<blockquote>The moral high ground is a myth created by those that never occupied the stinking, ugly and conscience numbing low ground that conflict is. How McCain can not summon the demons in his scarred psyche and focus on the total and overwhelming destruction of Obama tells me the script has been written, the fat lady has sung, the moneys in the bank!

All Hail the Messiah!

The ads run in the last weeks before the election are going to make the negative ads run in the past look tame.

The add makes him look desperate.

this ad reminds me of the ad where the quoted Romney out of context and said that he was for withdrawal timetables. And he released the ad in such a way as to not allow romney to correct the record. Plus, he teamed up with Huck to dispose of Romney.

I am not replaying the primary, just reminding you that he really had the high moral ground. Yes, his schtick is to say that he has the high moral ground with all his b.s. about straight talk etc but its all b.s.

And then poor Sarah Palin makes a joke about hearing Biden's speeches since she was in the 2nd grade, but her running mate is a 72 year old dude and then Katie Couric says isnt that a risky thing to say since your running mate is old and has been in the senate forever as well and she says something like "oh no, i think that experience was a good thing I wasnt putting biden down for being in the senate for so long...when obviously it was a joke and a slap which is why the audience laughed and clapped. So, she is full of b.s. too.

they are going down. But, the republicans chose to lose when they nominated a pretend republican so they deserve to lose.

Farmer (A) sells a mule to farmer (B) for $100.

Two days later B goes to get the mule and it is dead.

He demands his money back. Farmer A refuses.

B says that he will auction it off. A wants to know how he can auction a dead mule..

Two months later they meet. How did your auction go asks A.

Very well says B. I sold 500 tickets at $2 a ticket, minus the $100 I gave you. I made $900.

But weren't people mad?, says A.

Only the winner says B, and I gave him his $2 back.

These are the kind of 1/2 truth shitty ads that turn people off. Knock off the 30 second spot and run some 1 minute spots that hammer at Obama and the people he associates with.

Obama did not like those one bit. And you can throw in a new spot on Obama's "truth squad". There's plenty of Brown Shirt nazi footage to run with it.

<a href="http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/10/financial_bailout_would_impose.html" rel="nofollow">Bailout Would Impose Needless Economic Damage</a>

<i>Some politicians and government officials are making reckless charges of greater financial turmoil in the absence of a bailout. These grossly irresponsible statements may cause short-term market losses as investors try to second-guess how other investors will respond, but the assertion that the stock market's health - especially in the long run - depends on bigger government is belied by real-world evidence. Japanese politicians made many of the same mistakes in the 1990s that American politicians today are considering, and the Nikkei suffered a lengthy period of decline - and remains today far below its peak level.

Proponents of a bailout also are trying to rattle credit markets by arguing that inaction will cripple commercial and household lending. Fortunately, there is little evidence of a freeze in credit markets, thought the Administration's rash rhetoric and the specter of a bailout doubtlessly are causing needless uncertainty and temporarily higher interest rates. Once the issue is resolved, one way or the other, credit markets will resume normal operations. The only question is whether capital allocation will be distorted - and long-run growth hindered - by government intervention.</i>

Fortunately, there is little evidence of a freeze in credit markets, thought the Administration’s rash rhetoric and the specter of a bailout doubtlessly are causing needless uncertainty and temporarily higher interest rates. Once the issue is resolved, one way or the other, credit markets will resume normal operations. The only question is whether capital allocation will be distorted – and long-run growth hindered – by government intervention.

The moral high ground is a myth created by those that never occupied the stinking, ugly and conscience numbing low ground that conflict is. How McCain can not summon the demons in his scarred psyche and focus on the total and overwhelming destruction of Obama tells me the script has been written, the fat lady has sung, the moneys in the bank!

Whatever Obamalinsky says in response, he has been taking JMac snippets out of context for just about forever...remember the 100 years in Iraq? Most people aren't the political nutbags many of us are, so it just may fly surprisingly well. <strong> Hypocrite </strong>is a big word and carries a wallop. I say, turnabout is fair play.

He'll go down...but it won't be in a blaze of glory. He'll go down in a quiet whimper - with his hand extended toward his Democrat friends in a gesture of bipartisan cooperation.

<blockquote>It’s got to be coming. I refuse to believe he’ll just go quietly into that good night, so to speak. If McCain had acted like this in Hanoi he would have left earlier. The man’s core character won’t allow him to just give up. Right? - hump1201 on September 30, 2008 at 6:03 PM</blockquote>

Best hope for 2008 is probably to keep Republican losses in the house to a bare minimum and retake the house in 2010.

Even if it runs one day; who cares. He can keep running the Fanny/Freddie stuff. Guys, McCain's gonna get beat up for what ever he does; he might as well go down in a blaze of glory.

Folk, we need to fight or we'll lose, big time!

<blockquote>Perhaps his Democrat friends can lend him a hand from across the aisle - in the spirit of bipartisan cooperation, of course. LOL

I think they have thrown him a life preserver.

One filled with cement.

His former buddies in the MSM have done the same.
