I think we know that liberalism is inherently sillier than conservatism. There’s a lot of unmined material for a movie like this. I don’t know if it will be good, but I’m very hopeful.

Kelsey Grammer? James Woods? Don’t think so.

Some of the other actors could justifiably be termed B-listers, but that’s true for pretty much every movie. Every movie has its minor roles, which are usually filled by B-list or lower celebrities.

But I think the usual “B-lister” tag is applied to celebrities who are lecturing the rest of us on what we should think, not actors who are actually, you know, acting.

It’s worth going to see just for the Kennedy scene, where he repeats his inaugural address asking MM to listen to the “war part.”

There’s a grand total of ONE theatre showing this in the city of Shee-ca-guh and I WILL be visiting it on Friday!
(It goes without saying that there’s going to be many showings of Bill Mahers crap movie”Religilous”.
Pepole around here are such sheep.)

The film’s website has downloads, greeting cards to send liberals, and contests. Be sure to check it out and to spread the word.

Speaking of the contest, yours truly is in 7th place overall in the contest. The top 5 places get two tickets to the LA premiere with the cast and crew.

I’m trying to get into the 5th place position as my son is an aspiring actor (starving in NY) and it would be a great opportunity for him to be able to attend the premiere. Well I guess some people like Airplane-like humor & some don’t. I personally thought the trailer was hilarious.
Whatever your preference, a person should go see it out of curiosity’s sake. When do you EVER see anything from the far left presented in Hollywood?
I really loved the part when Patton & Hopper were going after the ACLU lawyers ‘Dawn of the Dead’ style. What a riot!

There has been a humor famine for a long time now as comedians mistake rage for humor. This may have started with Gore who set the rage standard

I am happy just thinking about this film.

Zucker is cool.

I hate going to the theater because someone always coughs germs all over me and the floors are sticky. I will sacrifice my protective shields for this one

It actually looks far better than I thought it’d be. I laughed out loud twice … which is twice more than I usually would at a Zucker flick.

I’m there if for no other reason than to support it, just as I did Facing the Giants and Fireproof.

BTW, Fireproof brought in $6.5 million and showed up fourth in the box office this weekend. Not too bad for a non-Hollywood movie. Take your family and go see it. It is worth the price of admission.

I think the trailer looks bad for what conservatives might consider an ideal comedy, but compare it to trash like Epic Movie, and you’re reminded that it was never supposed to be The Godfather. I think it will be okay, but reviews will be negative because of ideology.
