Clip #2: I think this was fair, to a degree. Although several of the Obama points were made legitimately (Iraq war) and none of McCain’s stances were accurately portrayed, SNL still gave two significant dings to Obama on playing the race card and his connections to Chicago corruption. I imagine that the SNL staff were probably Hillary supporters and this was bleed-over from their primary battles.

Clip #3: It could have been funnier, but it was still pretty spot-on about Bill Clinton’s apparent support of McCain and lack of support for Obama.

All in all, it was much better than the bias you get from the MSM on a daily basis. I don’t think there was anything that conservatives should really be upset about, it was pretty fair treatment.

… and Obama is their boy.

I know, it is maddening. To have the entire media complicate makes everything seem like an up hill battle.

Obama f’ing gets away with having no new f’ing ideas what so freaking ever, and saying “uhh” every two seconds. And Biden thinks that FDR was in the White House in 1929 and went on television. And thinks he has the ability to make handicapped people walk.

And THESE are the guys who are beating us?

No question, Palin needs to do better, but I really, really, REALLY hate this double standard.

Experience doesn’t equal stupid and a fresh view from an outside source wouldn’t hurt that hell hole either. And I don’t know about you but character, integrity, hard work and a love of country trump experience every time.

Maybe they will, though with a military leader, lawyer, doctor or CEO experience and knowledge are helpful before assuming a top job. Being from outside the beltway can be a plus but she needs to communicate better how her experience translates into effective decision making as Commander in Chief.

All that being said I actually thought they did a good job in all 3 videos; perhaps I didn’t mind the Palin one so much since there are so many acting so damn precious about her. It’s kinda sad; but here’s hoping she does well in the debate. I think most of us knew she was a gamble, and we should know very soon whether that gamble really did pay off… or not.

Is the idea that someone without experience would be better able to communicate a strategy for regulating financial markets or for setting priorities when the Pentagon and military leaders aren’t on the same page?

Although hardly even handed, the way I see the skits is that they were Hillary Clinton supports. Not quite mad enough to vote for John McCain but still a little miffed at the treatment of their candidate. I thought the Clinton skit was spot on. He has been practicing more diplomacy “supporting” Sen. Obama then he did the entire 8 years of his presidency.

Here, here. I did not even read all of Parker’s article, skimmed the first paragraph and quit, it was not worth my time. Palin has seemed weak because they are not letting her be herself. If I were Palin I would go in to the debate on Thursday and say handlers be hanged, I am doing this MY WAY! And see what happens. I am betting on a grand slam!
