Video: Triumph versus David Blaine

A worthy addition to a comic subgenre that’s already covered in glory.

Think happy thoughts.

Finally, something important!

The Lone Platypus on September 27, 2008 at 5:33 PM

Man, I needed this.

Afterwards, I’m going to play my golf game and ignore the world.

Mature? Responsible? No, but screw you.

SteveMG on September 27, 2008 at 5:36 PM

Thanks for the laugh Allah!!!

Mcguyver on September 27, 2008 at 5:38 PM

I’m outta here as well…

Think happy thoughts.

I’m going to dine on steak and white chocolate mocha.

Mcguyver on September 27, 2008 at 5:40 PM

spideeeeey!

maynila on September 27, 2008 at 5:40 PM

Why is the volume so low?

SouthernGent on September 27, 2008 at 5:40 PM

The hardest part of Harry Houdini’s stunts – The 15 minute coffee break!

Frozen Tex on September 27, 2008 at 5:49 PM

…a sock puppet commenting on a sock puppet….

…Triumph…the conscience of the nation….

Puritan1648 on September 27, 2008 at 5:53 PM

Ok that was just awesome.
Triumph, not Blaine’s stunt.

e-pirate on September 27, 2008 at 5:58 PM

The only thing more ridiculous than this so-called “stunt” is the Democrats floundering on the Hill over the bailout plan.

m064404 on September 27, 2008 at 5:59 PM

“I will submerge myself in ice for 2 minutes then I will have a frappucino.”

CanadianGuy on September 27, 2008 at 6:00 PM

Hilarious! Man, I needed some humor.

“15 minutes in ice” too funny!

jencab on September 27, 2008 at 6:03 PM

Sould have his own TV show considering all the pap that’s on there now. No, not Blane, the damned dog!

GarandFan on September 27, 2008 at 6:04 PM

One of Triumph’s funniest clips lately. See, Winner & Associates, this is how the professional sock puppets do it. Wouldn’t it be ironic if this video went viral?

The Dangling Dingleberry

Dr.Cwac.Cwac on September 27, 2008 at 6:17 PM

Anything that makes fun of Blaine is fine with me.

LastRick on September 27, 2008 at 6:18 PM

…please, the audience is begging for it…

funny.

Zorro on September 27, 2008 at 6:20 PM

I’m going to an Oktoberfest party tonight. I’m gonna get drunk on homemade brew and discuss Fantasy Football. Then, when I’m really drunk, I’m gonna talk politics with some of my “progressive” friends. :)

CliffHanger on September 27, 2008 at 6:30 PM

My collie says:

Think that was good? Watch me hang upside down while typing incendary remarks that insult the brain-dead liberals at Daily KOS. Watch me hang upside down while I lead a crowd of Code Pinkos and assorted commie liberal upstart (ACLU) types in a chant of “Give us Barabbas Obama”.

Like Ronald reagan said, “You ain’t seen nothing yet.”

CyberCipher on September 27, 2008 at 6:51 PM

HA! Good job T.!

Tony737 on September 27, 2008 at 6:55 PM

I’m gonna talk politics with some of my “progressive” friends. – Cliff

Careful brudda, you know how they can get when ya smack e’m silly in a debate!

Tony737 on September 27, 2008 at 6:57 PM

Got to hand it to Blaine, he was pretty cool about it.

madne0 on September 27, 2008 at 7:06 PM

He called him an “illusionist”.

That had to hurt.

Ortzinator on September 27, 2008 at 7:11 PM

My golden retriever says:

Obama is a wonderful candidate…for me to poop on!

ManlyRash on September 27, 2008 at 7:37 PM

“He’s received the phone number, now he’s going back up”

RightWinged on September 27, 2008 at 7:53 PM

Yeah, that actually raised my opinion of Blaine a bit. He was a good sport.

Jim Treacher on September 27, 2008 at 7:56 PM

Yeah, David Blaine was interesting for about a year…his “Street Magic” show was good. Nowadays, he just pulls these strange stunts of hanging, pole-sitting, buried, encased in ice, etc.

Triumph always cracks me up tho…his “Star Wars” bit still makes me laugh! Or when he did the weather in Hawaii…

JetBoy on September 27, 2008 at 8:58 PM

David Blaine brings douchebaggery to a completely new level…..

Weasel Zipper on September 27, 2008 at 9:07 PM

Somebody should book Triumph for a one night sand at Guitmo.

fogw on September 27, 2008 at 9:18 PM

stand. durnit

fogw on September 27, 2008 at 9:19 PM

Then, when I’m really drunk, I’m gonna talk politics with some of my “progressive” friends

You have progressive friends? Why? No yeah, I forgot you were drunk.

docdave on September 27, 2008 at 9:55 PM

It is fantastic that Triumph is coming back on a more regular basis. Without HA and AP, I would never know when he was on. Conan is not even good enough for me to poop on and Triumph needs to get a new gig on Leno’s inevitable new show.

Valiant on September 27, 2008 at 10:05 PM

Triumph is my favorite insult comic dog, (out of about 3 in the world)…Well, at least he’s good enough, to poop on.
The kiss at the end was the best. Thanks for posting this, I needed a laugh after reading the BS about Obama’s brown shirts trying to end free speech.

Christine on September 28, 2008 at 12:13 AM

LOL…Valiant and i were on the same wavelength (bodily function).

Christine on September 28, 2008 at 12:15 AM

I forgot to work in the comment about Blaine being catheterized. Ewwwwwww…I don’t wanna know about the other.

Christine on September 28, 2008 at 12:20 AM

I laughed. :D

Metro on September 28, 2008 at 1:02 AM

awesome, thanks.

superdave on September 28, 2008 at 1:23 AM

Ah, tears in my eyes. That was a good one.

clancy_wiggum on September 28, 2008 at 5:06 AM

If Borat were funny – Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.

Stephen M on September 28, 2008 at 9:39 AM

“The 35 years of no one liking you.”

ZK on September 28, 2008 at 6:58 PM

“Give us Barabbas Obama”.

Spot on, CyberCypher!

either orr on September 29, 2008 at 9:23 AM

The guy who mans the hand in that puppet’s butt does not get enough attention.

He is really quick witted.
