In the interest of accuracy and heading off incoming, I must correct this:

Roosevelt had been Assistant Secretary of the Navy and was well-versed in international affairs. He led troops into battle.

But the real question is : how will the Jooos and blacks be treated by Palin? If racist, I think you will answer one way; if you are not racist, you will not answer.

I’ll take the bait.

My suspicion is, she won’t think too much about them as groups, but rather more as individual people. You see, Fuqer, people have rights not because they are members of a group or class, not even a “traditionally oppressed” one, but rather because they are people. (Socialism demands that this truth be discarded in favor of using “traditionally oppressed” groups to forward their agenda.)

As VP, I believe she will uphold this principle.

Is there a test one has to pass to be a good VP candidate? Is it administered by the media? Is it scored based on the media’s “vetting?” Scored on he curve or percentage? Was Lyndon Johnson a good VP candidate? After the assassination, he gave us the Great Society,..but he sure had plenty of experience going in.

I heard one of the drive-bys on O’Reilly once say that McCain should have run his pick through the media for thier approval – I kid you not. I could not believe the arrogance of that person. “What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment.

Obama and Campaign Advisers Smoking Pot on the Campaign Trail?
When is it appropriate to drug screen a Presidential candidate? Weed stays in the system for more than 30 days, would Barack Obama and his campaign advisers agree to submit to drug testing immediately? If you have nothing to hide, why wouldn’t you pee in the cup?

Yes, I agree with Obama’s positions as laid out in the debate.

I see you have covered your patooty by saying “modern VP pick”. Palin has an opinion on foreign policy and if the MSM would ask her pertinent questions regarding foreign policy when they have the oppotunity instead of “gotcha” questions, her views would be brought out.

I’m actually a Obama supporter who compulsively reads Hotair for insight into what conservatives are thinking and to have my liberal viewpoint challenged. I guess I should start out each post with a disclaimer as to not mislead people. So yes I do support Obama’s foreign policy. The point I’m trying to make is that it’s unprecedented for any modern VP pick to not have an establish paper trail outlining his or her viewpoints on foreign policy. This is what in my mind definitely disqualifies her, not her lack of experience. Reasonable people can disagree on foreign policy, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable that a candidate a heartbeat away from the presidency at least have a record on foreign policy on which to disagree?
