I guess most missed McSame looking down at his bracelet 4 times before naming the soldier. He actually looked at his bracelet more then Obambi did his. (Watch the vid at the beginning of this thread.)

Obambi’s only flub was starting off with, “I received a bracelet from Sergeant….”, then corrected himself by saying, “from the mother of Sergeant Ryan David Jopeck…” So no one can say for sure that Obambi didn’t know the soldiers name.

It’s partisan political conjecture that assumes he didn’t know. Here’s an example of the opposite. “McSame didn’t know the name of the soldier because he had to re-read the name on his bracelet 4 times.”

Hey Ed, love the bracelet moment, but could you post the video of Obama smugly stating he had a great VP as a defense to his lack of foriegn policy experience? I haven’t seen this moment discussed on any thread anywhere but I thought it was a huge moment during the debate and it’s not getting the exposure it deserves.

I remember when he said that it seemed to come completely out of left field. His suddenly mentioning Biden was so discordant that I completely lost track of what he was saying just before it.

So looking down at a bracelet is a “tell,” but being to afraid to look at someone isn’t? Uh, right.

He wasn’t afraid to look at the marxist. This move by McCain was brilliant.

When I saw this camera angle of Barry looking over at McCain and McCain looking straight ahead, the message I got from McCain was:

“Barry, you’ve got nothing to say to me.”

Sadly, I wouldn’t count on it.

Yes, they were willing to skewer media bias for Obama — when doing so helped Hillary. But SNL has historically been fairly anti-GOP.

On the other hand, I’ve heard totally unsubstantiated rumors that Sarah Palin might guest star…

And Barack Obama did cancel on them during Ike…

And I actually thought the skit on the NYTimes staff meeting was hillarious…

What compelled him to try to play the “I love soldiers, too” game is beyond me. He should be comfortable with who he is and not pretend to be something he is not.

Liberals forgive each other for doing what it takes. They know he’s not lying to them. Further, lying to the conservative infidels in attempts to win a few of their votes is not a lie at all. It’s righteous warfare. And he’s not totally ignorant to armed conflict. And he actually considered joining the military for a few minutes once.
