Obama to McCain (9/26 debate): You said that we were going to be greeted as liberators. You were wrong.

The trouble with using Sen. Biden's words against Sen. Obama is that it puts ENORMOUS pressure on anything that Gov. Palin might say, or have said. While I can appreciate a hard-hitting ad, this one skates onto some very treacherous ground. Gov. Palin needs to have a far more public presence in this campaign...and we know that the knives are already out for her.

The McCain people better hit back as hard and as dirty as the ads that Obama is using against McCain.

Obama's lies about McCain don't need to be countered, per se, but equally eviscerating and lampooning portraits of Barry MUST be aired.

It was so obvious that the Dems in their rabid opposition to the surge, were throwing the troops under the bus in order to score political points. Contrast that with McCain who said publicly that he'd rather lose and election than lose a war.

UPDATE TO MR. PHILLIP BERG’S LAWSUIT AGAINST BARACK OBAMA BASED ON OBAMA’S INELIGIBILITY ON HIS CANDIDACY AS REGARDS THE REQUIREMENTS OF NATURAL BORN CITIZENSHIP ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Partial excerpt from an email I sent Mr. Berg:

“I trust the judge did not originally dismiss your lawsuit because it does indeed have merit. We, as Americans, in order to fulfill the intent and directive of our Constitution are bound by patriotic duty to determine the legal status of any citizen running for the Presidency of the United States; such determination of status having to do with a requirement that said citizen must be a natural born citizen. Mr. Obama should be required to present pertinent evidence that would allow a judge or qualified public official to determine if he is, or is not, a natural born citizen. It is a legal requirement.”

Mr. Berg sent this copy of Mr. Obama’s and the DNC’s response.

Update: http://www.nextgenerationcorp.com/NextGenBlog/?p=66

It appears that Mr. Obama is trying to stall the matter. The outstanding issue is Mr. Obama’s birth certificate (Certificate of Live Birth). It appears that so far he has obfuscated this issue as well by providing, or having his agents provide, a false certificate of birth for publication.

But to Mr. Obama’s determent, the people of the United States of America demand that he (Mr. Obama) remove himself from eligibility to run for any political office for which he is not qualified and/or for which he (Mr. Obama) will not publicly present authoritative qualification for his candidacy as required by the Constitution of the United States of America.

God bless.

Yeah, but we shouldn’t have been there in the first place.

Yeah we should have just ignored the daily violations of the cease-fire and let sanctions end so that Saddam could reconstitute his weapons programs.

Obama was wrong before the war and throughout the war.

He claims that Al Qaeda escaped from Afghanistan because we took our eye off the ball and went into Iraq. He is counting on the majority of voters not knowing that Al Qaeda escaped Afghanistan in December 2001 when they were driven from Tora Bora.

He is also counting on the majority of voters not knowing that Al Qaeda to took a shit-kicking in Iraq and not just at the hands of Americans but at the hands of Americans and Iraqis fighting side by side.

That segment of the debate up on YouTube -- I'm sure the Obama crowd loved it, since their candidate was so rude and arrogant, but McCain got a zinger in when Obama kept insisting we shouldn't have gone to Iraq in the first place:

"The next president of the United States is not going to have to address the issue as to whether we went into Iraq or not. The next president of the United States is going to have to decide how we leave, when we leave and what we leave behind."

Not according to his running mate. According to Joe Biden, the move to defund the troops was deliberate — an attempt to interfere with the surge strategy that wound up winning the war.

Forget the vote, read the legislation Obama wrote and tried to get passed. Baracky tried to outlaw the surge, all by his lonesome.

That ad knocks it out of the park!! I think the McCain team has lots of "big guns" to employ as we get closer to the election and we are starting to see a few of them roll out now.

That “not ready to lead” slogan is annoying. It implies that the little commie will be “ready” to be put into a position where he can destroy this country someday, just not today.

I've never liked it either, but I guess the McCain camp feels they'd be accused of racism (again) if they told the truth about Obama: "Not Fit to Lead."

He sounds like it because that's exactly what he is.

Voting records don't lie (but Obama sure does).
