The Ed Morrissey Show: Duane “Generalissimo” Patterson and the Week in Review

posted at 1:00 pm on September 26, 2008 by Ed Morrissey

Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), Duane “Generalissimo” Patterson joins us to take a look at the week in politics. It’s probably going to be Meltdown Friday, as most of the political stories revolve around the crisis in the financial sector. Should the two candidates have postponed the debate? Did McCain show leadership by heading back to Washington, or was it a gimmick? Will Notre Dame beat Purdue? (Well, it’s a pressing issue for me.) All this and more, as well as a look at tonight’s Hugh Hewitt Show!

Now you can join the conversation in the chat room! Be sure to register at Ustream to participate in our raucous live-chat sessions. (And if the log-in prompt doesn’t come up in the chat box below, use this link instead.) Jazz Shaw of The Moderate Voice moderates the chat, and he has his Troll Gun Trivia Contest running before the show, for those who get there early — and are registered!

It would take another week to review this week.

The flight simulation video with Duane is hilarious. I always look forward to Friday’s Ed & Duane show.
