Agreed and no surprise. Palin is NOT READY TO BE A HEARTBEAT AWAY FROM THE PRESIDENCY, and this is becoming more and more obvious with each of her scary interviews.

Basically I think this was a gamble on his part and we just don’t know if it’s paid off yet.

As for the debate, as Karl Rove said, the first one is the most important since it shapes people’s perceptions on the others. If McCain makes Obama look like an idiot then Obama will have a hard time turning it around. But if McCain loses the first debate then we might just have reason to panic.

There is a reason they threw Carly under the bus, she contributed to one of the worst weeks this year in one of the most important times.
