<blockquote>The drop in the polls coincide with the recently poor performances of Sarah. It started after the Gibson interview and have gotten worse after the Couric interview.

Agreed and no surprise. Palin is NOT READY TO BE A HEARTBEAT AWAY FROM THE PRESIDENCY, and this is becoming more and more obvious with each of her scary interviews.

As someone said earlier, I really think that McCain's actions could still really help him. If they come up with a more palatable bill soon and it passes then he'll get credit and I think he'll take over the economy issue.

Basically I think this was a gamble on his part and we just don't know if it's paid off yet.

As for the debate, as Karl Rove said, the first one is the most important since it shapes people's perceptions on the others. If McCain makes Obama look like an idiot then Obama will have a hard time turning it around. But if McCain loses the first debate then we might just have reason to panic.

Well then, with these polls swinging so much, up one day and down the next,,, as they all say, the only poll that will really matter is the one on election day!

There is a reason they threw Carly under the bus, she contributed to one of the worst weeks this year in one of the most important times.

I think that press presence was the more important part. It was enough to turn me off.

Dems have over a thousand sophisticated computers standing by. They are capable of converting McCain's debate oratory into text instantly so that teams of activists can have the entire debate fisked for the press within 15 minutes.

Your website shows you have a brain. I am not a troll. Why are you acting as Jano's advocate?

sigh.....

Get a hobby, man. Find something to occupy your time.

ManlyRash quotes Paine; I referred to ManlyRash as Patrick Henry because Henry was an ally and friend of Tom Paine. A friend and ally who would use the words of his friend and ally to rally others. It was a Historical Thing, and obviously beyond your comprehension and ability to make the connection

Again, get a life......

<blockquote>Democrats always win on the economy, we can argue that it should not be so, but it is. That is why we need to get a bailout bill and try to move on to other topics if we can.

The Democrats shouldn't win but they do, therefore we should just let them win?
