Justin, the consent decree enjoined Section 6(2)(a) “only to extent that section 6(2)(a) requires physicians to describe basis for judgment that medical emergency existed”. It didn’t eliminate the other provisons which mandated medical care.

Yeah, I don’t know about ‘infanticide’ either. As reprehensible as that bill (and OBama’s defense of it) was/is, to me “infanticied” means the willful goal of destroying *all* infants, not just those associated with live birth abortions.

‘Genocide’ isn’t about killing ‘some’ of a particular group, it’s about attempting and wanting to kill them ‘all’.

Same with ‘infanticide’, imo.

As I have mentioned before, the idea that the doctor should judge whether the newborn has a chance to survive presents a grave conflict of interest.

If the child dies as was planned, all is well. No legal issues assuming it was his call. If he provides some aid and it lives, he could be liable for a wrongful birth lawsuit.

FactCheck needs to know that there is NOT a law requiring medical care for viable infants born alive – only a law requiring an abortionist to have another physician on hand to care for the child who survives an abortion if the abortionist has already ruled that the child is viable AND if the abortionist doesn’t say the abortion is an emergency.

In the unlikely event that the abortionist has another doctor on hand, THAT doctor is required to care for the baby if it is born alive. The abortionist isn’t required to do a dang thing.

BUT nobody in the IL legal system can initiate an investigation or prosecute anything civil or criminal regarding any of this, as per the Herbst-O’Malley legal agreement of 1993. So it makes no difference if a law in on the books anyway – lawyers made sure that the law could never be enforced. Only a NEW law can ever be enforced – even for full-term infants – and Obama made sure there wasn’t a new law.

7. Apology for mocking McCain’s injuries in the email ad and lying about his ability to use email

8. Apology for accusing the RNC of engaging in racially based attacks without any evidence of such attacks

9. Issuing a formal correction for his and his campaigns lies about how his relationship with Bill Ayres (guy in the neighborhood, elementary school girls go to school with Ayres adult children, etc.)

10. Issuing a formal correction for his and his campaigns lies about how his relationship with Tony Rezco (some guy he was assigned 5 hours of legal paperwork for)

11. Lying about Raines’ relationship to his campaign
