CM it’s not like she is in Missouri *gasp* violating the “truth”…..

I think power is going to slowly devolve back to the states.

But, personal observation suggests that some on the modern left are just no-good, terrible people. Modesty has always been an American virtue, and this seems to be eroding in our self-obsessed culture of alleviating white/eco/imperialist/whatever-gui…..

The third sign I put up, I waited outside for them with a video camera. They had been stolen before on Friday nights…as if the local union thugs went out for a few beers before going on their spree.

Anyway, like clockwork, they came down the road, but stopped before they got to my sign and pulled up another one, then turned around and left.

This year, there are already reports of McCain signs being stolen.

Time to get the video camera again, and maybe my wrist-rocket sling shot.

After 4 nights at 1:00 am I sat at my computer and watched a
car pull up,a man get out and start for my signs.I was going
to let my dogs(Rottweiler,Chocolate Lab) out but decided against it.I ran after him but he jumped in the car and sped off.I got his license plate and felt stupid reporting it,but I told the police that this little incident could lead to a
bigger incident such as assault.
They took it seriously and called be back to tell me they addressed the situation through another Sheriff’s department
because they lived in a different county.

This year I have already had my signs stolen twice so I asked a sign company to make me a 3 ft. by 4 ft. sign that
has a picture of Palin on one end and McCain on the other.
It reads in large print:

“Obama supporters can steal our signs but they can’t steal our right to free speech.”(I pull this one up at night fall
every night)

I took my other signs and nailed them to trees to high for
the “Freedom of Speech” activists to reach them.

I have received a lot of compliments and outrage from people
who are shouted down and have crap like this pulled on them
from the people that yell about the Constitution and Freedom
of Speech the most.

Sorry, but she was in the right. She has every right to pick up litter on public property. That is exactly what she did.

She was completely in the wrong. The signs are not “litter”- in Minnesota the DOT takes down the signs and impounds them- the intention is that improperly posted signs are returned to the campaigns to be posted properly (and for the campaign to be fined accordingly). Unclaimed signs are trashed. She had no business pulling signs down, she wasn’t doing “anyone” any favors except for the campaign she evidently supported.

OT- when is registration open for malkin’s site? I don’t have an account there and don’t know when registration is open.

My daughter had a “Bush/Cheney” sign in her yard in “04, and a neighbor lady drove over and took it…the lady herself had posted a “Kerry/Edwards” sign onto a utility pole at the end of the road, so my daughter went out there and took that down and nailed up an old flipflop in it’s place…heh, get it?

My daughter is cute.

Even at the primary polling places, there were twice as many Paul signs as all the others put together, plus they were the only signs that were posted outside the designated area. They just think they’re more special than everyone else, and they don’t have to obey the law.

Here is where a person would file a disciplinary complaint against a Minnesota lawyer.
