Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), Patrick Ruffini joins us to talk about Card Check and the efforts to stop it. Later, I’ll talk about the election, the bailout plan, and the latest video clips!

Now you can join the conversation in the chat room! Be sure to register at Ustream to participate in our raucous live-chat sessions. (And if the log-in prompt doesn’t come up in the chat box below, use this link instead.) Big thanks to Jazz Shaw, our chat-room moderator!

Opening animation from TG Studios.

The unions are trying to increase membership without doing ANY work for it. Fatten some politicians wallets and VOILA! no secret ballot, no SELLING the advantages of the union.

Why is it that the union can’t get WAL-MART to unionize? They want 2,000,000 more members, but they don’t want to spend the money it would take to show what benefits the union offers. In FACT, DO they offer any benefit?

If the unions were so great, wouldn’t EVERYONE be trying to get into one?

This is NOT the union of old, where they worked VERY hard for workers rights and safety issues.

This is the political power engorging union, which feasts at the trough of workers dues.

Sorry Ed; I won’t be listening to the shows anymore. Jazz has the reason why, and I apologize to him for blowing up at him.
