I’m annoyed that she didn’t bother to answer the reporter’s questions in the block that was quoted. The first question was “would you have done anything differently?” and the second question was “do you think our actions over there have inflamed Islamic terrorists?” She answered the first by stating what she’d do the same and the second with a “fight them there, not here” platitude. Sure, she’s more fluent than Obama off the cuff, but she’s not putting any thought into her responses and it shows. Hopefully she changes this pattern at the debates.

I believe you mean “extemporaneously” and “baby moose.” And her answers above are in complete sentences, so I don’t see what your problem is.

A reading of the transcript shows sloppy syntax….but seeing the video for the first time surprised me. She actually seemed very confident today.

I agree with previous HA bloggers on different threads that if McCain is busy with something important Friday the 26th (like saving the country from financial disaster) and Obama and the MSM still insist on a debate that day, send Sarah in as a designated hitter!!! Sarah would be more than a match for Barry, and that would make the Dems/MSM (really the same organization) rue the day that they tried to use debate scheduling to obstruct a Senator who takes his job seriously!!!

Explain then how she substantiated the premise that “fighting them over there” was the correct thing to do. It comes off as regurgitating talking points for the sake of regurgitating talking points.

I think our presence in Iraq and Afghanistan will lead to further security of our nation, again, because the mission is to fight them ~~in Iraq in Afghanistan instead of here~~ over there.

That changed nothing and actually reduced the quality of the answer, but are you happy?
