I know, I know, Palin’s been getting bad press (what’s new for Conservatives?), and one wishes to see a silver lining somewhere, but trust me – Islamic women-impregnators hitting on her is not where it’s to be found. Zardari would have done well to treat Palin with the same ‘respect’ that members of the ummah claim to treat their women (and I’m not thinking wife-beating, polygamy, 1/2 rights, misogyny here).

Pakistan is an enemy. Under Musharraf and Zardari’s late wife Bhutto, they were taquiyya practitioners, while with Zardari, with the (long overdue) US incursions into Pakistan, it’s a little harder for them to maintain the taquiyya line. Palin should have told him that all his flattery wouldn’t stop US from going after Jihadis created by his late wife, since Pakistan has emphatically proven that they’d rather fight Americans than fellow Mohammedans.

That question alone would be enough to expose you as a left-winger. The answer is, “Not quite.” Freedom of the press is essential. That hardly means that anyone who is a member of the press is essential. I seriously doubt Hollywood gossip columnists, for example, play a major role.

I am a resident of Texas. Today I received a free version of Rollingstone magazine in the mail (with my name). I have never subscribed to the magazine. I have only ever subscribed to the Economist and the Wall Street Journal. The headline at the top (with a cover of Metallica) says “The Lies of Sarah Palin” — inside a hit piece.

Since the guy that owns the magazine is an Obama supporter – is this legal, so close to an election?

I think Sarah must be exhausted…a month ago she was running Alaska with a staff…now she is responsible for singlehandedly saving McCain’s campaign…she is in two different states every day…she is trying to avoid all the traps and landmines being laid for her to step in by a MSM that has taken the mask off and is showing her hourly how much it despises her…she knows how her candidacy has affected all of us and how high our hopes are with her in now…how does she handle it?! I think she is doing great…I am impressed that she hasn’t deteriorated or lost her cool and said this isn’t worth it… I’m sure after Gibson she was wary especially of Couric as it seems that liberal women have been especially vicious… So much on this woman’s shoulders and she doesn’t quit or buckle…so she can do almost no wrong with me…She is me! (though my youngest is autistic) and now I know who hates me too… I will act accordingly i.e. never ever buy US again…and much more… God bless and protect Sarah Palin
