I’m glad to hear from someone in the area… but I have to argue you can’t cut the top of a mountain off and expect to return it to how it was… nature is a little harder to produce than that. drainage for one is critical to the local ecology and population… one of the major effects I’ve seen is flash flooding and mud sludge…

you can’t just put an airport there of a bunch of houses and think … that’s better… not if there is an option as easy as nuclear… these mountains were made over millions of years and were going to let them cut the tops off of them? and continue to do the same to more and more of them? what if there is coal under all of them?

I just have to disagree… there’s a better way…

Anthropological Global Warming is a theory which is at odds with a significant body of observational evidence which goes back to Viking and even Roman times. Questioning this theory is not tolerated in a number of places including some journals and scholarly meetings and especially debating The One. Aren’t we lucky to live in an enlightened age when questioning official dogma is only punished by the rage of The One and plans for wasting a substantial portion of the GNP.

Now if planets within solar systems have seasons, doesn’t it make sense that all solar systems also have seasons within their galaxy?

And think what might that mean ultimately for planet Earth?

I don’t buy that Gore is all that smart, but I do believe he is insane – like a mad scientist, and like most deranged dictators who think it’s cool to prosecute people because they disagree on an issue (which, despite Gore’s claim, is not based on “material fact” but on deception).

I just wish the Brits would take him off our hands. Offer him a nice castle somewhere, with a great big basement he can use to set up his freaky deaky computer models. Maybe give him a knighthood like they did with Robert Mugabe. I’m sure he’d like nothing better than to be called Sir Albert Gore.

2-buy new car
3-change out toilets

Keep in mind that this is the guy who uses something like 20 times the electricity of the rest of us, and seems to be constantly flying around the globe, often in private jets, cruising in gas guzzling land vehicles, etc. etc. Only after scrutiny does he start (or claim to start) “offsetting”, and then outfitting his home with solar, etc. etc.

But the point is, why live so large in the first place? Why not lead by example, and show all of us normal folk (who aren’t millionaires) how to “go green” on limited budgets? The reason? Because he knows it’s all horsesh**!!!

So again, I ask – Why does he now suddenly sound like a loony “true believer” type, encouraging law breaking? I really, really hope we can jail him and his ilk one day for what they have done. But then again, they’ll always claim “it was the best science we had at the time”. A convenient loophole. Just like how kids have been lied to for the past couple hundred years about how “Neanderthals” where some sort of knuckle dragging ancestor to modern man, but now in the face of the evidence, even evolutionists are having to admit that we lived along side each other (and were both HUMAN!!!), and that we likely carry some of their genes today, from “interbreeding”. This brings us back to the racism of evolution, by the way… We could take skeletons of different peoples from different parts of the world, and compare them to each other, and a modern “scientist” would look at them and say that one was closer to “modern humans” than the other.

And to think we came “this close to having him as President.
