Entropy arguments made by evolutionists supporting the growth of an abiotic cell to produce the complexity that is involved with even the most simple cells do not exist. From non life to organized life is in the opposite direction of the natural order. The statement that you make about evolution not addressing the origin of life is true only in the high school version. There are many components that are tied to various, and equally bizzarre, thoughts, such as the electrostatic charge on clay particles being the origin of original DNA synthesis, life originally begining with RNA, and more that I've forgotten, because as I progressed with further degrees, I've realized that it is all crap.

In reality, you're too goofy to realize the strength of the argument before you. It takes a little searching among academia, but you can eventually find the intelectually honest evolutionist who will admit that the breakdown of the theory is in the origins. The last time I checked, when there is a long standing and significant deviation that defies explanation using the theory, by definition the theory is refuted. SIMPLE, CONCISE USE OF THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD.

As there is obviously not a functioning synapse in your head that can realize that if even a single component of the big 3 are screwed, all collapse, I simply encourage you to examine your beliefs, and bid you good day.

I'm certain we'll cross swords again.

I'm not afraid to discuss reasonable things in the classroom. That you buy the "second law of thermodynamics problem of evolution" shows you're not really a scientist. Indeed, reputable scientists use that law to demonstrate the plausibility of evolution. If you were a scientist you would know that evolution says nothing about the origin of life.

The bottom line here is that these theories being bandied about as the sole item to be discussed in school all have significant issues.

Big Bang - Look into the role dark matter has played in breathing life into this dying theory.

Evolution - Biggest problem is the discussion of origins... Significantly the second law of thermodynamics problem in the early stages of life... Usually danced around but never addressed.

Plate Tectonics - "older" guyots being closer to center of pacific plate movements than the distal sections. (The exact opposite of what is supposed to be the case)

Just to highlight the big 3...

If you are afraid to discuss things in the classroom you doom future generations of americans to be dependant upon influx of inteligencia for growth related to research and development.

This indicates she believes in it. And allowing creationism anywhere near the classroom is just stupid. Case closed.

Not only is this position astounding in its ignorance, it is also much more in keeping with communist philosophy than it is what I believe to be American philosophy.

I can tell you that as a scientist, ideas and thought are supposed to be the Holy Grail of all disciplines. There is NOTHING to fear from ideas and discussion.

As a former member of what I have come to call the priesthood of humanism, I state without hesitation that the lack of interest in discussion is completely related to clinging to erroneous beliefs.

Funny B thinks someone who was falsely smeared on two websites about creationism and dinosaurs, is unqualified for the Vice Presidency, but thinks that someone who was accurately quoted as believing there are 59 states in the United States of America is more qualified to be President.
I think the substance B is on has been banned worldwide.

How does Palin believing in creationism disqualify her? It means she is an idiot incapable of critical thought. Do you really want someone like that in the White House? Don’t tell me she doesn’t believe in it; she attended a church for years where they believe in it, and she advocated teaching it in schools. I’d like to see McCain win but Palin is going to cost him the election.

B26354 on September 23, 2008 at 11:04 PM

Dude, that lie has already been proved false. Palin's Dad teaches SCIENCE. Also, she left the AofG some years ago. Also, the lie about her wanting to teach creationism in the public school system is bogus too. That one was proven false almost two weeks ago. She was for allowing debate in a classroom setting but not as part of the curriculum. Duh.

Get with the program. I have yet to find even one LIE yet. There have been a few partials and close calls but no meat yet. You need to stop reading Andrew Sullivan.

Oh, and let's not even start with the Hollow Man. We could go on ALL NIGHT with his lies.

You mistake me for someone who is here to defend Obama. I’m not. But I’m not going to defend the indefensible (Palin) either.

Unless she believes the dinosaurs are still walking the earth, I don't see where her beliefs about dinosaurs matter one way or the other.

In fact, I can't imagine a sillier reason to reject a politician. But I have faith in the stupidity of reporters in general, so there may yet be a sillier reason thrown out.

Sarah Palin met her first world leaders Tuesday. It was a tightly controlled crash course on foreign policy for the Republican vice presidential candidate, the mayor-turned-governor who has been outside North America just once.

Palin sat down with Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Colombian President Alvaro Uribe. The conversations were private, the pictures public, meant to build her resume for voters concerned about her lack of experience in world affairs.

Don't you love how the AP always reports the news straight without editorializing?

Do I really need to add the /sarc?

You soak up every left wing idiotic rumor and then come here and post it as fact and then think you have the credibility to denounce the McCain/Palin ticket as a joke.

What are you,12 yrs. old?

Can you even reach the keyboard or is your mommy having to type this drivel for you?

Your best bet is to go back to your Berkeley Bubble, flip on
some Bill Maher and toss this idiocy around with your friends at the Huffington Post because you are really embarrassing yourself here.

One place you probably would not be able to get to..well..
for starters, you would have to be old enough to drive,is here because it is to dam$ crowded with all these people who
think Palin is "finished":

THE VILLAGES -- Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin told wildly cheering, flag-waving, chanting supporters that John McCain is "the only great man in this race" and promised Sunday he will fix the nation's economy if voters give the GOP four more years in the White House.

How does Palin believing in creationism disqualify her? It means she is an idiot incapable of critical thought. Do you really want someone like that in the White House? Don't tell me she doesn't believe in it; she attended a church for years where they believe in it, and she advocated teaching it in schools. I'd like to see McCain win but Palin is going to cost him the election.

Palin believes dinosaurs lived at the same time as man. That pretty much disqualifies her from holding any high office.

This is a non-sequitur; so what? How does this disqualify her? Do you have an answer to this? Probably not -- you're just repeating leftist nonsense from Hollywood snobs, who have their own set of peculiar beliefs, I'm sure.
