Heart-ache: Tiny terrorist gives Bush speech thumbs down at the UN; Update: Obama rips UN, Ahmadinejad

posted at 6:50 pm on September 23, 2008 by Allahpundit
Share on Facebook | printer-friendly

A spontaneous gesture of disapproval? Hardly. ABC caught him waving at the White House press corps intermittently to get their attention. He may be a cretin, but he’s a media-savvy cretin.

Here’s the transcript of his speech. Nine pages in all, composed in his trademark turgid “Up With People” meets “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” style. Literally the first four and a half pages of this turd are devoted to abstractions about peace, love, dignity, justice, and other types of sugar and spice that he likes to lard up his speeches with to make the poison go down more smoothly. See last year’s UN speech for another example. As I said at the time, “He’s forever threading the needle between … psychopathic Islamist designs on Israel and the sort of squishy brotherhood nonsense that buys him legitimacy with the international community on which he depends.” Skim through this one to see if I wasn’t right, paying special attention to the passage at the top of page 6 about the Zionists who “have been dominating an important portion of the financial and monetary centers as well as the political decision-making centers of some European countries and the U.S. in a deceitful, complex and furtive manner.” Think I’m exaggerating with that “Protocols” analogy, eh?

Other pearls of wisdom to be found within: The genocide in Darfur is the fault of certain unnamed western powers and NATO bears sole responsibility for the war in Georgia. Oh, and Israel and the American empire are on their way to collapse, per page 7. If you still can’t get enough after all that, watch CNN tonight at 9 for his interview with useful idiot Larry King. Exit question: He’s got two days to kill before that big interfaith group hug at the Grand Hyatt on Thursday. What’s he going to do to pass the time? Hmmmm.

Update: He must be joking.

Below is a Statement from Senator Barack Obama on President Ahmadinejad’s Remarks

“I strongly condemn President Ahmadinejad’s outrageous remarks at the United Nations, and am disappointed that he had a platform to air his hateful and anti-Semitic views. The threat from Iran’s nuclear program is grave. Now is the time for Americans to unite on behalf of the strong sanctions that are needed to increase pressure on the Iranian regime.

“Once again, I call upon Senator McCain to join me in supporting a bipartisan bill to increase pressure on the Iranian regime by allowing states and private companies to divest from companies doing business in Iran. The security of our ally Israel is too important to play partisan politics, and it is deeply disappointing that Senator McCain and a few of his allies in Congress feel otherwise,” said Senator Barack Obama.

Am I hallucinating or hasn’t this tool made his own willingness to meet with either Ahmadinejad himself or the people who sent him to the UN the cornerstone of his foreign-policy approach?

DAMN! I was hoping A-jad would have given President Bush a standing ovation for his last speech.

All is lost!!

The tiny terrorist waved at the WH press corps….he has a lot of “friendlies” there.

Heh, “I’m-a-tiny-wiper-of-other-people’s-bottoms” must of thought he was back home at the soccer stadium giving the “thumbs up or down” to decide if the infidel lives or not!

What a tiny and sick man…can’t wait until he bites off way more than he can chew and sees that the US isn’t a paper tiger as he thinks…he just needs to just ask Saddam what a mistake it was to think we were a paper tiger…oh wait, he can’t because Saddam’s DEAD!

And the oblivious UN morons will eat it all up (with a few glaring exceptions).

If you still can’t get enough after all that, watch CNN tonight at 9 for his interview with useful idiot Larry King.

Unbelievable. King is going to give him an hour to spew his talking points? Sure King isn’t stupid enough to think he’ll be able to challenge his positions, right?

JiangxiDad on September 23, 2008 at 7:03 PM

Oh, this is too precious.

The Land of Lincolner issues a tough response to the Iranian President’s statements in New York Tuesday, says he’s “disappointed that he had a platform to air his hateful and anti-Semitic views.”

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? The guy who wants to wipe Israel off the map and denies the Holocaust? Using a platform to air anti-Semitic views? Say it ain’t so?

This is the guy Obama wants to sit down with unconditionally, keep in mind. He’s now calling for McCain to join him in calling for states to divest from doing business with Iran. Geez.

McCain better come out and slam him on his dishonesty, on his calls for unity while his allies got Palin disinvited from the Anti-Iran rally, on his contradicting his own foreign policy. This is McCain’s bread and butter. He needs to cut an ad on this with him speaking directly to the American people and then he needs to turn the Pitbull loose on this. Let Palin disembowel him. It’s time. Do it.

AP, there is probably only one (true blue conservative)person more pessimistic about the upcoming election than you, and you are reading his comment right now. However… every time this “tool” attempts to redefine himself, I am encouraged. Please don’t get me wrong- I am not saying that I think the American public is smart, but they are not knuckle-dragging buffoons. I believe that if McCain can mount a two-pronged attack, first by defining their differences, and second by pointing out Obama’s flip-flops on critical issues, we can win this.

If not for the possibility of the next POTUS appointing 2, and possibly 3 SCOTUS, I would say that we would survive an Obama presidency. But since SCOTUS can LITERALLY redefine the constitution at worst, and set constitutional policy for decades at best, I do not believe that we will survive more than a couple of decades as a capitalistic society.

The time is NOW for your readers to volunteer in their precincts- walk the neighborhood, be a call center volunteer, and as a minumum give a couple of $20’s ($100’s if you can) to the McCain campaign.

The time is NOW.

Larry King is officially senile.

He, a Jew, is giving Ahmalittleteapot, who has called for the annihilation of Israel numerous times, a television platform from which to spew his crap.

If King does not use his time with Ahmaramahdingdong to put a lead slug in Ahmadinnerjacket’s brain, he is a waste of skin and a traitor to his own people.

Harpazo on September 23, 2008 at 9:27 PM

If we kill (stealing Harpazo’s clever name) Ahmalittleteapot, can we send Obama to Iran to be their replacement President?

Ya know… it’ll be like a terrorist exchange program.

Damiano on September 23, 2008 at 9:56 PM

If Obama really wanted McCain to speak out against Iran and Amedinajad, he would not have had his thugs threaten legal action against a Jewish group if they allowed Sarah Palin to join them in a protest against Amedinajad.

Utter hypocrisy. (Not that the MSM will notice though.)
