Is this the obligatory NY slimes is biased thread? If so, why not a poll? I vote HELL YES. I am paticularly amused at their demise after they helped excercise emanate domain abuse for their new headquarters. Rumors of their demise is NOT greatly exaggerated but actually welcomed. I think they should raise rates to increase their circulation (sort of like the logic behind Krugman and Freidmans economic policies). Good riddance to bad rubbish.

It’s good to see McCain’s camp finally stating “straight talk” on this issue.

Bush has been The Kind of the Numbnuts by letting this sort of thing fester for 8 years. Of course the NY Times are scum but Bush has only rarely countered outrageous lies and betrayals by the Times and others in the media. His placid, feeble minded inaction has seriously hurt this country. His near total inability to use the “bully pulpit” of the Presidency to lead this country in the right direction is one of his worst failures.

A front-page story in The New York Times on Tuesday (July 29) and articles in other news media reported that Ms. Palin was a member of the Alaska Independence Party for two years in the 1990’s.
